Nothing about what she was doing was a good idea, but Bailey was feeling a little reckless. With O.W.L year stress already getting to her and the responsibility of being a prefect and a Heta big sister taking their tole, she needed something, that something was apparently the cute new transfer student. They’d got along instantly but even she was surprised by how quickly she had wanted to kiss him, the more so by how it took her to actually kiss him, but they couldn’t keep doing that in the middle of the halloween feast, so they left.

Now, Bailey found herself dragging Elio away from the Great hall looking for anything resembling privacy so she could lose herself for just a few minutes.

@Elio Boneheart

The brunette knew what she wanted and Elio wasn't about to tell her she couldn't have it. Was he going to say no to a cute girl wanting to kiss him? Absolutely not. With the halloween feast going on in those doors, and most people preoccupied with that, Elio knew now was really the only chance they would have no to be disturbed. She dragged him out of the Great Hall and Elio noted a small alcove over by the grand staircase, tugging her over to it and leaning up against it. "Shh, we should be good here, you can't see us from the door," he said lowly to her, though he didn't think anyone would hear them from the inside of the Great Hall. There was a lot of noise come from in there so he rather hoped they'd have a good couple of minutes. He liked kissing the Hufflepuff, and clearly she was enjoying kissing him too. So he tucked a piece of hair behind her ear and leaned in to kiss her again.

Bailey had probably gotten a little carried away but she didn’t regret the position she found herself in. The boy was cute, and new, it helped that she hadn’t seen him running around as a first year, that did rather lower a lot of the boys in her year in her estimations. He came with none of that baggage which only made him more attractive in eyes, his face didn’t hurt either. She giggled as she was pulled closer to him once he found an alcove that offered them a little more privacy from the other students in the entrance hall and she leaned closer to him to kiss him. “There are better ways to keep me quiet you know,”

Elio was half shocked and half intrigued by being pulled out of the halloween party but he was hardly going to complain about it. He wasn't an idiot, "are you sure no one is going to miss you?" He asked, quickly checking their surroundings again, his face picking up into a laugh as she spoke. "You mean like this?" he asked, leaning down and pulling her lips to his again. They probably didn't have much time, the party was in full swing but there were still people coming and going and they weren't exactly hidden from sight, if you were looking for them, they would have been easily spotted from the doorway to the great hall. His attention now solely focused on Bailey, he didn't even see the shadow approaching them.

He may have enjoyed the school events such as the Halloween feast when he was a student but patrolling them as a teacher was a nightmare. James knew exactly what some students would be up to because he had been one of them. As the night drew on he shifted his focus to the entrance hall as more students would start to leave and often wouldn’t get very far as they devolved into typical teenage activities.

Unfortunately for James, he caught a familiar streak of blonde hair out the corner of his eye and spun to see his daughter pulling an older boy into a half covered alcove. He sighed, he knew he couldn’t have students doing merlin knew what out in the open but he didn’t relish the idea of catching his daughter mid fooling around. James walked up to the two of them in the alcove and cleared his throat loudly to interrupt their little make out session. “I’m disappointed Mr Boneheart, I thought you and I were starting to get along,” James didn’t say anything to Bailey, the look he gave her felt sufficient. It wasn’t the act he was unhappy about, though he was hardly thrilled by it, but to do it so publicly, she really was her parents daughter, he’d hoped for better. “Ten points from Gryffindor, don’t let me catch you doing this again, I really hate taking points off my own house,”

Bailey saw the looming shadow approaching them but was too preoccupied by Elio pulling her in for another kiss. It was the worst time to initiate another kiss as no sooner had their lips touched had her father cleared his throat to announce his presence. “Dad!” She exclaimed as she pulled back from Elio and tugged at her outfit to maintain some semblance of keeping her dignity. He barely addressed her and seemed to focus his attention on Elio, probably because he was the easiest for him to punish. “Dad you can’t take points of him for kissing me!”
