Recieving Mail

Kate walked into the great hall. It was 6pm and she was expecting some mail. It wasn't in the owlery and hadn't come earlier. Fingering that owl treats in her pocket she sat down at the Hufflepuff and occasionally glanced up towards the sky where she hoped to see her tawny owl swooping down.

Libby was sat at the Hufflepuff and saw Kate on her own. Grinning she made her way over to her, "Hi Kate" she said, noticing she kept glancing to the ceiling. "Expecting mail?" she asked.

Kate spun around as someone approached her. "Oh hey Libby! How are you feeling?" Realising thatshe was a little to obvious with glancing at the sky she shyly nodded. "Yep. Mum and dad have still got my owl for a letter. They should have replied by now. I need to send something." She said as she waved a little slip of paper in the air.
