Ravenclaw Quidditch Practice Y51/S1

There were bludgers flying everywhere, and the third year was careful to avoid them. Spotting another headed in Lilith's direction, she flew toward the older girl, smacking it away from her in time and toward their Captain instead. Rose had hoped that she'd be able to block it too, and felt bad whenever she hit her own teammates.

Lilith x1
Hinemoa x1
Julio x1
Lucy x1

Julio was busy scanning that he didn't notice the bludger coming straight for him. Not until it had already smacked him right in the side. Julio huffed out a breath, sitting back on his broom so he could try and rub the dull pain away. Bludgers were the absolute worst thing about this sport.

when the quaffle had been missed, theo got a hold of the quaffle, doing a lap before making his way to the hoops.

Maggie was glad to have successfully hit one of the seekers. She looped around and went after another bludger.

Rubbing his side one more time, Julio huffed out a breath before getting back to work in his search. He was determined to catch the snitch again at least once more.

Maggie decided to focus on getting hits in at the moment rather than defennding anyone, and she was successful as she tried to another hit, watching as it hit her target @Theodore Harper , another recently upgraded Ravenclaw player.

Bludger hits said:
Lilith x1
Hinemoa x1
Julio x1
Lucy x1
Theodore x1

When Theo was close enough to the hoops, he threw the quaffle towards one of the hoops, but as he threw it, he was suddenly hit by a bludger, which made him lose his aim and didn't score him a point.

Julio continued to circle in his search.

Lilith gulped as players were being hit left and right, trying to keep her focus solely on finding the snitch.

The snitch remained elusive as ever.

Lili glanced the younger seekers way, wondering if they might be having more luck. However as she looked at the two alternates they too seemed to be struggling to find the snitch, at least she wasn't alone in this hell.

When it looked like no one else was going for the quaffle, he decided to go for the quaffle again when it was thrown back out. Theo did a lap before circling back to the hoops.

Magne followed behind the new chaser as the new chaser caught the ball.

There was still no sight of the snitch.

The beaters were in fine form today, and Lucy was about to call out a congratulations to Maggie when a bludger coming in from Rosé caught her completely off guard. She yelped as it impacted her thigh, leaving what she already knew would be an impressive bruise. "WELL DONE GUYS!" She called out to both of her fellow beaters, pleased that Ravenclaw had such a strong presence to throw around.

Hinemoa ducked her broom lower as the bludgers really started flying, hoping the move would serve the double purpose of keeping her further from the line of fire and maybe giving an angle on the snitch neither other seeker would spot.

When Theo was close enough to the hoops, he threw the quaffle towards the left hoop and cheered as he watched it sail through the hoop.

Lilith stopped her broom for a moment, just hovering in the air and looking around her. Maybe if she stopped for a moment she could spot the snitch and then charge for it, or maybe she could just take a break and focus on the other players before continuing her fruitless search.

Julio narrowed his eyes, thinking for a moment that he saw something. But it wasn't the snitch.

Lilith threw his head back for a moment, letting the wind play with the stray hairs escaping her braid. Once she was done wallowing in her annoyance at the elusive snitch she focused her eyes on the surroundings and began flying again, with a newly found determination.

Lucy kept one eye on the other players as she flew, attention split between her role as a beater and her role as a captain. When she saw Theodore score she gave a whoop, pleased he was settling into his new role on the main team so well.

Hinemoa kept flying low, hoping this tactic would work out for her. She scoured the lower area of the pitch, just in case the snitch was hiding closer to the ground, but to no avail.

The atmosphere on the pitch waa chaotic, bludgers and seekers in every direction. Rose was glad at least Lucy was pleased with her.

Maggie was glad practice seemed to be going well for most, but she was hoping to get more hits in. She saw another bludger and flew quickly to catch up.

Lilith made her way towards the other end of the pitch, the side she hadn’t yet searched through properly. Maybe the snitch was hiding there.
