Ravenclaw Quidditch Practice Y50/S1

Lucy flew a little off course, the bludger taking her by surprise. That was quite a hit. They'd done well to get Rose. She straightened out, and moved back in pursuit of the quaffle.

Audrey wondered if the others had taken her mojo. She kept looking for bludgers to hit.

Rule 2a

Lucy grabbed the quaffle from Cyrus and started flying towards the hoops.

theo followed closely lucy for support

Lucy was going to shoot, but decided at the last second to pass, giving Theo the chance instead.

@Theodore Harper

Rose was glad to make it harder for them but she needed another bludger and quickly if she was going to stop Theo scoring.

theo was surprised when the quaffle was thrown towards him. he grinned at lucy before continuing towards the hoops, quaffle in hand.

Lucy didn't fly close to Theo, but she followed slightly behind, staying in a strategic position.

Lili watched as Rosè smacked a bludger away from her straight at Lucy.

when theo was close enough to the hoops, he threw the quaffle towards the left hoops, grinning as it sailed right through

Rose was most disappointed with herself when Theo scored, because she hadn't been able to stop it.

Lucy was pleased for Theo as it soared through the hoop. She fetched the quaffle again, and went for a lap.

Lilith noticed one of the chasers make a goal and smiled at the third year before getting back to her own search and rescue mission, not that the snitch needed much rescuing...

Rose had to remind herself to be pleased for her teammates too. At least in a real game it wasn't as though she was going to be trying to hit them. Theo had done well to score.

Lilith saw a glimmer of light and began following it, hoping that it wasn't just a reflection from something completely different than the snitch.

theo flew near lucy for suport

Rose did a lap of the pitch, trying not to get too attached to any specific players.

Lili kept up the chase, trying to gain more speed so she could get closer to the snitch while still doing her best to avoid any bludgers flying around.

Spotting another bludger, Rose swerved sharply to chase after it.

Lili was getting so close she could practically feel the snitch, more than could be said for the Gryffindor seekers ;D

Audrey hit a bludger ostensibly to one of the opposing beaters, however the bludger went a little rogue and hit her beater teammate instead. "Whoops," Audrey said, looking slightly sheepish. Part of her wanted to justify it with 'how else are you supposed to learn', but she was trying very hard to not be like her father. "Sorry, you good?" @Rose Glass

Bludger Hits said:
Audrey x1
Lucy H x1
Lucy M x2
Maggie x1
Cyrus x1
Lilith x1
Violet x1
Theo x1
Rose x1

Lili reached her hand a little further and then the snitch just made a turn. Letting out a huff of frustration she saw Rosé being hit and turned to the youngest beater. "You okay?" She echoed Audrey's question in slightly different words. Knowing how hard the seventh year hit and having lost sight of the snitch she could afford a second to check on the second year.

Rose yelped as the wind was suddenly knocked out of her. She supposed it was her turn, but it still caught her off guard as her eyes watered. That was much worse than it had been at the Heta event. "Fine," she didn't make eye contact with Audrey nor Lilith, not wanting either of the older girls to see her cry.

Lili frowned a little as Rosé looked away but didn't wanna stew on it for too long so she began the search again, deciding she'd check up on the girl later on, she'd promised Rosé's mum too that she'd look after the trio but even if she hadn't she would.

Rose got back to work as quickly as she could, ignoring the throbbing pain.
