Ravenclaw Quidditch Practice Y47 S1

Audrey got momentarily distracted by Lucy hitting Violet with a bludger. She swallowed nervously, feeling judgement for not doing very well herself, but it was good for the team that Lucy was so good.

Savannah did not catch the snitch.

Violet had thought she saw a glint of gold as a bludger came tearing her way, colliding straight into her side. She groaned as it did so, and looked up again to find that the glint of gold had disappeared.

Lucy took the quaffle back from Ambrose and soared towards the goal hoops.

As bad as she felt about hitting her teammates, Lucy couldn't help the small swell of pride as she carried on around the pitch, glad that she was proving herself so well in her new role.

Lucy threw the quaffle, but the shot was blocked.

Lucy caught up on a bludger and swung, sighing as she watched it fly wide of her teammates, uselessly hitting nobody.

Lucy took up the quaffle once more, readying to take another chance.

Lucy threw the quaffle, but ultimately missed. She snapped her fingers in disappointment but went back to practicing.

Lucy retrieved the quaffle, feeling confident she'd make it this time.

Lucy tried to score, but failed again. Maybe she was losing her touch, or maybe Michael was shaping up to be an excellent keeper, she couldn't tell.

Lucy took up the quaffle again, intent this time. Maybe she'd do a fake-out or something.

Lucy went for a fake-out as she'd planned and managed to score. She cheered, pleased she'd gotten it through.

Rory was glad to see Lucy score and cheered her on as she did so. Once things settled and the quaffe was thrown back into play he grabbed it, looped the pitch quickly and headed back towards Michael’s hoops, taking a quick shot which sailed through the hoops.

Rion couldn't believe it. Even as an alternate - even as an alternate in practice - she couldn't avoid being hit by a bludger the moment she got into the sky. Luckily, it hit a fleshy spot and bounced away. It would leave a bruise later, but it wouldn't stop her from playing. Gripping her broom, she flew after the other chasers. It took her some time to work up the courage, but eventually she dove forward to collect the quaffle. She headed for the opposite hoops.
