Ravenclaw Quidditch Practice S2 Y48

Lili really hoped that one day soon she would see that precious glint of gold again, however today was not that day.
 
Lucy missed the goal, clicking her fingers in annoyance.
 
Lilith wondered if the snitch had decided it had had enough of being chased and fled the country.
 
Theo quickly got a hold of the quaffle once it was thrown back into play after Lucy's throw, before circling around the pitch and heading towards the goals
 
No snitch so Lilith will go and count the sheep for the next few hours! 🫡
 
Audrey hurriedly struck at a bludger that had almost stuck up on her, but it was a sloppy hit that posed no danger.
 
Lilith didn’t catch the snitch.
 
When Theo was close enough to the hoops, he threw the quaffle towards the left hoop, completely missing... darn...
 
Lilith supposed perhaps she had got all the catches the quidditch gods would allow her this semester already.
 
Maggie went after another bludger after taking a break, making contact and watched as it sailed into @Audrey Beauchamp . She had meant to hit the girl, but it still made her feel bad to hit one of her teammates on purpose.

The failed! Kept its streak of breaking Lilith (and faye's) spirits up!
 
Lucy felt a little bad for Theo, but she remembered being in a similar position when she first started out. "Don't give up, Theo! You got this!" she called out before retrieving the quaffle and preparing for her own shot.
 
Lilith wondered what would happen if she decided to become a Koala or a sloth and just hang upside-down on her broom like they did, because clearly that would be more eventful than trying to find the snitch.
 
Maggie took a breath before going after another bludger.
 
Another fail to add to the list.
 
Maggie failed to hit anything, but she wasn't going to let it get her down. She went after another bludger and swung with all her might. Nothing.
 
No catches were made.

Lilith stared off to the distance glad she had made the team and hoping to continue in it next year.
 
Lucy kept one eye on the rest of the team, pleased that their new recruits all seemed so dedicated to the practice. And they were having far more luck than she was, thankfully.
 
Lili kept her eye out for any sightings of the snitch.
 
Maggie went after another bludger, trying to get as close to it as possible before trying to hit it.
 
There was no catching that snitch, disappointed but not surprised.
 
Maggie failed.
 
Like her dormmate, Lilith too failed. Go second year Ravenclaw girls!
 
Lucy threw the quaffle and missed. Oh well, she'd do better next time.
