Ravenclaw,PracticeMichael was, naturally, disappointed in how the last game had gone. Not with the team, of course - they had done very well. But he was disappointed in himself as a leader, and disappointed again in how Quidditch could turn out such nothing results. It was, frankly, why he preferred rugby and cricket. Still, he wasn't going to go out having given up. They still had more games to play, and he wanted to leave the team in good spirits so they would carry on the positive momentum. Which would be improved without him.

"Right, let's get to some game practice, yeah?" he said to the assorted team once they had gone through some warmups. "We know Gryffindor are going to be hungry for that win, but we've gotta be hungry for it too. Let me know if there's anything specific you want to work on, otherwise let's just make sure we're feeling good up there."

No arrivals, just get straight to it! Please make sure you look at the PM I've sent out!

Audrey took to the sky and looked for bludgers to hit.

Audrey hit a bludger aimlessly - a warm up, she would insist.

After playing in the finals as an alternate, losing her first match as starting beater had been... a hit to Lucy's ego, to say the least. But she was here, and she wasn't going to let it keep her down. She took off with the rest of the team and went straight for a bludger, swinging for Audrey. She winced slightly as the ball went right past her and hit Michael though, heart skipping slightly at the thought that she had hurt him. "SORRY!"
@Michael Watson

Audrey sighed, knowing her father would likely berate her for not being as good a beater as Lucy was. Thankfully, her parents couldn't come and watch their games.

Michael took his place in front of the hoops, mostly watching out for the quaffle - and getting a bludger to his side for his trouble. He wheezed, looking around and giving Lucy a wave. "Good one," he managed to get out, equal parts pained and proud.

Audrey lined up a shot and fired it straight to the seeker @Savannah Walters knowing that was what she'd need to do in the game. Which was unfortunate, as Gryffindor's seeker was really good looking and she didn't exactly want to pelt him with bludgers. But, such was life.

As soon as practice began Rory dived straight for the quaffle and made a quick attempt to score, he managed to do so and easily put the quaffle through one of the hoops.

Audrey hoped to follow up with another swift hit but she was not so lucky.

Audrey swung her bat aimlessly, she wasn't hitting a bludger with it but she was just making sure she got her swing action going.

Lucy gave a broad grin at Michael's compliment, still feeling a little guilty about hurting him. Not enough to hold back though, and she circled round, looking for another bludger.

Savannah got out onto the pitch and into the air, and somehow managed to immediately catch the snitch.

As the quaffle was still up for grabs Rory grabbed it again and headed straight for the hoops, managing to score again.

Savannah let the snitch go.

Being hit by a bludger and then noticing Savannah finding the snitch quickly meant Michael was doing a terrible job at the keeper side of his game, but at least the captaincy wasn't entirely failing. "Nicely done!" he called, clapping his hands together before grabbing the quaffle that had gone past him and tossing it back into play.

Audrey groaned as a bludger sailed helplessly past its target.

Lucy's eyes boggled a little bit when she saw Savannah catch the snitch so quickly, immediately distracted from the bludger she had been going after. If Savannah could manage that again they would demolish Gryffindor!

Audrey was trying to imagine the bludgers were her father because he'd been extra annoying lately. It didn't help her accuracy. Maybe she just needed therapy.

Savannah didn't catch the snitch.

Savannah did not catch the snitch.

Savannah did not catch the snitch.

Violet headed up into the air and began her search for the snitch.

Savannah was very surprised when she spotted the snitch again, and after a small chase had managed to catch it again.
