quidditch practice

Blake watched the bludger almost hit Angelica, and laughed a little as Sam made a score. Turning on his broom, he looked around for another bludger. "Okay, how about I pair up with Angelica," Blake said to Frances, "and you pair up with Sam. It'll be simple, we basically play the roll of beaters on any old team."

"Alright then," Frances said before she flew down to where Angelica was hovering. "Sam you're with me, and Angelica you're with Blake," she said turning from Sam to Angelica and back again. "We're just goin to play like a normal team, only minus the other five players for each team," she said with a laugh. "So basically, you guys cover the goals and shots, while me and Blake try to hit bludgers at you guys!" Frances said happily, before she shot off down the other end of the pitch searching for a bludger. Really idiotic training if you ask me, she thought to herself.

"Uuuuhh, okay then!" Sam yelled back. He watched Frances fly off and looked to Blake then to Angelica and began adjusting himself to the air. He leant forward and the broom zipped off towards Ange with the quaffle and when he got there he held out his hand for it.

Frances had darted off down to the other end of the pitch, where no one was. She listened carefully for the any trace of a bludger, keeping her eyes peeled. Once she reached the goal posts, she stopped infront of them and began eyeing the whole field for anything that was moving extremely fast. As she hovered, she turned her gaze left and right, up and down, but unfortunately, she couldn't see anything.
Gearing up her Streak, she flew around the house stands, scouting for the bludgers. To her fortune, she spotted a bludger zooming over into her direction. Bringing up her bat into a defensive hold, she waited as it came closer, and struck it just in time, sending it to the ungarded goal posts where she'd been moments before. Without hesitation, she flew off after it, her Streak easily catching up to the flying bludger. Once the were well behind the house stands and heading for the goal posts, she swerved again to cut infront of the bludger, and swung her bat again, this time aiming for the opposite end of the pitch. She watched as it soared through the air heading, once again, for Angelica.

Angelica chucked the quaffle at Sam, then flew upwards to guard the posts, wondering what Sam would do next. She began circling the three posts in a defensive mode, completely oblivious to the bludger that was now coming straight for her.

Blake saw Frances hit the bludger in Angelica's direction, and zoomed off for it, smacking it just in time, sending it now in Sam's direction.

Sam caught the quaffle and sped to a distance for another shot. As he turned to face the keeper a bludger hit by Blake smaked him hard in the face and knocked him partially off his broom only just holding by his leg. He hung there for a moment before flinging himself back up. "Im okay!" He called out to everyone. Giving Blake another glare he turned once again to the rings now alert for any more bludgers. He took aim for the hoop farthest on the right again and let fly with the hardest throw he could manage.

Angelica watched as Blake saved her from getting hit by a bludger, but didn't acknowledge him for it. As Sam got hit by the bludger, Angelica couldn't help but sniker to herself under her breath, before she darted off to her left where Sam had thrown the quaffle, catching it and making a great save. Chucking the quaffle back at Sam, she said, "Come on, that all you got?" poking out her tongue in a mocking manner.
