Quidditch Game: Ilvermorny vs Beauxbatons

Melrose gripped his broom a little tighter, lingering back near the hoops and watching the keeper closely as he waited for the quaffle to be thrown back in.

Kirby continued her search for the snitch

Juneau was pleased Ilvermorny didn't score again. She rushed forward and took possession of the quaffle when it was thrown out.

Melrose took after the French chaser when she grabbed the quaffle, hesitating before flying in close. It was an awkward attempt at trying to get the quaffle back, but he was trying.

Come on Kirby! She tried to chant herself into finding the snitch.

Juneau gave the American chaser a sideways glance, finding his attempt to steal the quaffle mildly annoying. She swerved sharply away from him, then threw the quaffle towards the goal posts but was so wildly off target that it was a terrible attempt to score. Juneau could feel her face heating up from embarrassment.

The sun wasn't helping in her endeavour unfortunately, but she was determined to find the snitch.

Marcel was focused on his search.

Summer stood guard at her hoops.

Kit was glad to see the French failed to score and snagged the quaffle once again, heading towards the hoops.

Kirby continued to search for the missing elusive snitch.

Kit made her way to the hoops and watched as the quaffle sailed in, letting out a cheer.

Melrose could relate to the French chaser missing but he didn't have time to commiserate, following at Kit took the quaffle and cheering as she managed to even up the score. Waiting for the quaffle to be thrown back out, he tried awkwardly to offer Kit a high five.

Marcel needed more practice since he could not find anything by now.

Kirby was growing more frustrated, but there wasn't much she could do, all she could do was keep looking for the silly little golden ball.

Juneau muttered something under her breath in French when Ilvermorny equalised then took the opportunity to take possession of the quaffle when it was thrown out to play.

He thought he saw it, but it was just a glimmer from something else shiny.

Kirby flies closer to the stands, hoping to see the snitch.

Marcel still had no luck.

Juneau lined up a shot, then grinned as the quaffle sailed through the hoop. It meant her team had an advantage back again.

Marcel searched and searched.

Larissa found a bludger and whacked it toward the seeker. It made a hard turn at the last moment and struck @Juneau Delarue instead. Well, at least it was not her teammate.

Melrose groaned when Beauxbaton's took the lead again, though he had to grimace in sympathy as the chaser who scored then immediately took a hit from Larissa. Hoping to capitalize, Melrose scooped up the quaffle, heading back up the pitch.

Juneau’s celebration was cut painfully short after she forgot about the bludgers. One whacked her side and she wobbled in the air, gritting her teeth against the pain, then tried to shake it off and pushed forward in pursuit of the boy who now had the quaffle.

Merlin, the snitch was probably half way to Antarctica by now! Where was it?
