Quidditch game: Ilvermorny vs Beauxbatons

[Gemma Thorne]

Gemma was getting frustrated as Ava got hit again. She swung her bat but the bludger went wide and missed it's target.

Amelie continued her search, ignoring the throbbing of her ribs.

 

[Ava Hastings]

Ava was starting to get annoyed with herself when she hit another bludger and it didn't fly in the direction she had wanted it to.

 

[Gemma Thorne]

Gemma swung her bat but missed again. What was wrong with her today? Maybe Hugo getting knocked out had shook her up more than she realized.

 

[Gabrielle Perrault]

Gaby thought about passing to Flo for a moment but when she came up to the hoops it felt too risky. Instead, she feinted turning to pass to the other girl and then chucked the quaffle right through one of the hoops.

 

[Micha Kovac]

Micha felt like he was getting desperate when he saw a flash of gold out of the corner of his eye. He turned quickly and nearly lost his balance before racing after it. He had to dodge around people in every direction but he didn't take his eyes off the snitch for a second. With a final burst of speed he reached out and grabbed the snitch out of the air and held it up triumphantly. He wasn't sure how he had done it but he was glad the game was finally over.

 

[Aramis Faroe]

The bludger hit had stung but Aramis was determined not to let any more goals through, knocking the quaffle aside before scooping it back up again to Gaby. He grinned as he saw her manage a goal but the celebration was short lived as the crowd grew restless and he saw the American seeker shooting after the snitch. He groaned when he saw their seeker grab it, sighing as he accepted the end of his final game with the team. Aramis could already imagine what a foul mood Hugo would be in and he didn't look forward to adding to it.

 

[Felicity Sweetwater]

Felicity frowned as Lucas managed to not make his shot even with her help but quickly busied herself trying to tail after the French seeker again. Apparently it was unnecessary though, as Micha managed to scoop up the snitch in short order. Felicity let out a cheer, flying over to him excitedly to celebrate. "Wow, you were amazing! Great job," she gushed excitedly, following him to the ground to continue the excitement with the rest of the team.

 

[Gemma Thorne]

Gemma was desperate to take out this seeker. She had hardly hit a thing the whole game and she was about to scream in frustration. She had just knocked a bludger away when she heard a cheer and saw the American seeker holding the snitch in his hand. She swore under her breath and tried not to look like a complete sore loser. She had wanted this win, badly. It was Armais and Gabby's last season and she had wanted them to go out with a bit more prestige than this.

 

[Hyun Ong Hae]

Hyun heard the whistle and whipped around, grinning as he saw the snitch in Micha's hands. "YES, NICE ONE!" They were off to go and face the Hogwarts team once again and this time he was determined they would do better. It was his and Lucas's final year on the team, it was only right that they went out with a bang.

 

[Gabrielle Perrault]

Gaby had been waiting for the Ilvermorny keeper to throw the quaffle back out when she heard sounds of excitement. It took her a moment to turn around and see what was going on, but the happy tone she could hear in some unfamiliar voices already told her everything she needed to know. Gaby leaned on her broom and looked around at her team, disappointed to now know this had been her last game with them.

 

[Mykaela Blythe]

Mykaela was just about to hit the next bludger when she heard everyone of her team cheering loudly and she immediately turned to where Micha was and understood what happened. They won. "WOOOOO!!! PERFECT!" Mykaela happily shouted, almost falling off the broom out of excitement. They were going to Hogwarts New Zealand..

 

[Reeve Buchanan]

"Ilvermorny wins!" he announced to the crowd. The bludgers had been quite active during the game, and he raced to secure them before they could continue their assault on players. Reeve kept an eye on the two teams he did, hoping that there wouldn't be any post match altercations.
