Quidditch game: Ilvermorny vs Beauxbatons

Mykaela was excited for their first game of the year, she was pretty sure that they will win. Now she had an amazing partner Felicity. So it was gonna go amazing. She listened to Hyun's speech and smiled. Then she took off the ground and caught up with the nearest bludger, hitting it towards Beauxbatons beater, proudly twirling the bat in her arms after the bludger hit her target. "Wooooo! Good start," she loudly cheered for herself and then continued to fly around the pitch to catch up with a new bludger. She was pretty sure that it was gonna go well even if Micha already got hit too. 1:1.

While tailing the Ilvermorny chaser who had taken possession of the quaffle Gaby suddenly saw an opportunity, pushing forward and stealing it right from under the girl's arm.
 
Felicity watched curiously as one of the French girls waved at Hyun but didn't have time to ask before the game was in motion. She frowned as the French team managed to hit Micha immediately, swerving to follow after him and try to keep the next bludger away so he could focus. She cheered when Mykaela managed her own hit, beaming at her other beater. "Good shot, girl!"
 
Ava swung her bat at the bludger she had been chasing and send it flying. She frowned as it sailed past the seeker and hit the keeper @Yoo Hyun Ki instead. At least she had hit someone.
 
Aramis gave Gaby a quick nod after she addressed the team, kicking into the air and moving to the North hoops. He was on guard as the Americans took the quaffle but was relieved to relax as Gaby snaked the quaffle before they could get too close.
 
Mykaela turned to her partner and put thumbs up. "Riiiight? Let's go, we can do it!' she excitedly called back to Felicity.
 
Flo cheered a little as Gaby managed to steal the quaffle, she flew closely behind her teammate just in case she needed her.
 
Felicity gave Mykaela a grin but she had admit the chill air was making it hard to focus. It was even colder up in the air and she did her best to resist the urge to slow down to keep the cold off her as she watched for bludgers.
 
Aramis slowly circled the hoops, content to watch Gaby and Florence hopefully manage a goal.
 
Gaby headed straight for the hoops and tossed the quaffle at the left one, glad to watch it sail through.
 
The bludger hurt quite a bit, but Hugo tried to keep focusing on finding the snitch.
 
Ava hit her bat at another bludger and watched as it sailed past the seeker once again and into @Hyun Ong Hae instead.
 
Felicity groaned when she heard a cheer, seeing Beauxbatons had managed to score a goal. Maybe she should be trying to target the chasers too? Merlin, an actual game was so much more stressful than practice had been. Pausing to tighten her pigtails, Felicity set off after a bludger, determined not to get overwhelmed.
 
Aramis grinned as Gaby made her shot, leaning back contentedly on his broom before remembering this likely meant he'd need to be back on watch if the American's got the quaffle again.
 
Lucas took off into the air with the others, letting Abigail take the quaffle first. He groaned when she let it get stolen and followed the other teams chaser. When they managed to score, he swooped in and grabbed the quaffle. Not a great start. Deciding to be more active then, he turned and started back for the hoops.
 
Felicity tried not to let the chill get to her as she took a swing at a nearby bludger, letting out an annoyed huff as she barely made contact, her bat skirting off the bludger harmlessly.
 
Aramis shifted ever so slightly from his spot in front of the hoops, getting ready as Ilvermorny took possession.
 
Lucas made it across the pitch and scored easily, feeling a slight sense of relief. Maybe if he worked hard enough, he could secure them a bit of a lead.
 
Felicity wasn't having much luck keeping up with the bludgers, briefly wondering if French bludgers were different somehow. She was relieved to see Lucas managed a goal at least, tying the game back up.
 
Aramis dove for the wrong hoop as the American chaser took his shot, clicking his tongue in annoyance as he scored. He scooped the quaffle back up, brushing a lock from his face as he threw it back out.
 
Gaby watched as the Ilvermorny chaser scored, catching the quaffle when it was thrown back out and making off with it.
 
Ava tried to hit another bludger but missed.
 
Mykaela caught up with a new bludger and cheered loudly once it hit her target again, making Beaux seeker only one hit away from being taken out of the game.
