It was time for the final game of the season. Reeve already had spoken with each team to review the rules, and he was now on the pitch making final preparations for the upcoming game. It was an overcast day, but in the distance it looked like the sun was making some attempts to push through.

He was sure it was going to be a fun game, and as the stands filled around him he could sense that others believed it too.

[Penelope Marshall]

Penelope smiled weakly as she entered the pitch with her team to cheers. She honestly felt like an impostor, being here after not winning the last game. She had been in the hospital wing for a while, but she knew she had stayed longer than necessary because she hadn't wanted to face her team. She was glad for Bailey, she was. She had done something similar when she was an alternate, winning the cup for her house after the main seeker was knocked out. She remembered what it had been like. For everyone to suddenly see her, to suddenly know her name. She just wished she wasn't the seeker being knocked out now. It felt unfair when she had so little time left at Hogwarts. She would try her best to enjoy this game, but she couldn't help feeling anxious.

 

[Callie Cardoso]

Callie was still riding the high of their last victory, it almost felt too soon to play again, but she was hoping that they would win this too. She arrived at the pitch and glanced towards the captain, itching to get into the air.

 

[Kirby Rosatta-Chevotet]

Kirby was excited to be in New Zealand and she couldn't wait to get up there and take the victory from the hands of the kiwis! She stood, leaning against the broom as she watched everyone come together quietly, whispering softly to Enzo just to see how things played out.​

 

[Celestine Gauthier]

Celestine was excited to be playing on a different stage. She had tied her hair up with a pretty blue ribbon to match her Quidditch robes (and had enchanted it to stay in place as she flew). There were some pre-performance nerves, as ever, but she went through her breathing exercises as she waited, making sure she was calm and poised and ready to go out there and have fun.

 

[Niniane Archambeau]

Nina was still struggling with Quidditch, considering how difficult her father was being, but she would still go along and be there if she was needed. She stood with the others and quietly waited.

 

[Oswald Brambleheart]

Oz was not sure he'd been any help whatsoever with the Quidditch team, but he was still there at least to make up the numbers. He was ready to play and hoped he'd be able to do something useful in this game.

 

[Light Zhefarovich]

Light Zhefarovich could hardly believe that they were here again at HNZ. He didn't think that they would really need to win this one since they already won against the Ilvermorny team. He looked at them all and shrugged his shoulders. "Another year, we are here again. Let's remind them who is the best."

[Bailey Walden-Cade]

It was the final Quidditch game of the year, with the cup secured Bailey hoped Hufflepuff could take bragging rights in the international game. She made her way onto the pitch and made her way over to Penelope and smiled at her. "Good luck today, you got this,"

 

[Enzo Walden]

Hogwarts was weird and wasn't nearly as impressive as Beauxbaton, Enzo couldn't wait to leave the school as soon as possible but he hoped to catch a glimpse of Hinata before he left. He walked out onto the pitch with the rest of his teammates and gathered around Light who was preparing to announce the team and get things started.

 

[Marley Owens-Lee]

Marley had been in shock that they had made it this far. She was happy and excited for the team! She couldn't wait to verse the international team and what they were made of. The Hufflepuff stood with the rest of her team as she awaited for their captain to address everything before the game started.

 

[Claire Blanchet]

This was the last game Claire would be playing for her schooling and Claire wasn't really sure what plans were on the cards for her after she left school, but for now, she wasn't too worried about that at this stage. Claire smiled and nodded as she listened to the co-captain before they were given the signal to fly up again.

 

[Sofi Ayre]

It did feel exciting to be part of the tournaments winning team even though Sofi really hadn't been any help in getting Hufflepuff that title. She joined the other Hufflepuffs for the game against Beauxbatons and glanced over at the other team before the game started.

 

[Jonah Edogawa]

This was Jonah’s second game of the year and the last. It would have been nerve-wracking if he had the energy to care. As it was, he was dedicating most of it to a mantra of telling himself that he was going to be of use and score today. He gripped his broom tightly as he avoided looking at the stands where he knew his family would be watching today.

 

[Chase Campbell]

Even if they had already won the cup and today's game was just for the glory, Chase didn't feel anywhere near ready. Perhaps it was because he hadn't told his team he was quitting yet. He figured it'd be easier if he didn't, although that didn't necessarily mean it would be the right decision. "Alright listen up, don't put too much pressure on yourself. We won the cup and this game's just an extra. Remember to have fun and you guys'll do great." Chase told his team, perhaps a little more sentimental than he normally was, before heading over to the referee.

[Reeve Buchanan]

Reeve gave the captains a nod, sending them back to their teams after he'd reviewed the line up cards. The referee placed the appropriate charm on himself and addressed the crowd and teams. "Today is the final match of the season! Hufflepuff, you will be keeping the northern hoops and Beauxbatons, the southern ones. Let's get into the air!"

The referee opened the game chest and released the bludgers and the snitch. The ref grabbed the quaffle and headed for his broom. A moment later he was in the air, tossing the quaffle into the sky and yelling "Game on!"

3. You should refresh the page before you post! Someone might sneak in a post while you are working on yours and first post counts.
4. You should always be pressing a button, whichever is appropriate for your game play during your post. Doing so boosts your success rate as well as allows the timer to kick in appropriately for your teammates and opponents.
5. After a player is hit by the bludger 3x, gameplay should stop. This allows for a quicker return to game post- substitution.
6. The game is meant to be interactive, so read your fellow players posts before posting! Stick with the game from beginning to end, from kicking off the ground to touching back down! Have fun!

Oz flew straight up and grabbed the quaffle, determined to be vaguely useful this game.

 

[Celestine Gauthier]

Celestine elegantly mounted her broom and started looking for bludgers to hit.

 

[Chase Campbell]

Chase flew after a bludger.

 

[Kirby Rosatta-Chevotet]

The game started and Kirby jumped onto her broom, determined to look for the snitch, but it was too early to catch a glimpse of anything!

 

[Oswald Brambleheart]

Oz was at least fast enough to get a goal in before the keeper could react. He sighed in relief.

 

[Chase Campbell]

Chase swung his bat at the bludger and watched aa it sailed directly towsrds the other team’s seeker @Kirby Rosatta-Chevotet.

 

[Celestine Gauthier]

Celestine flew after a bludger.

marley went immediately went into the air, looking for a bludger to hit

Kirby swore loudly in French as she got hit by a bludger. She turned to glare at the beater before going back to look for the snitch just to prove to those kiwis who's superior.
