Quidditch Game: Gryffindor vs Beauxbatons

Reeve was eager to see the final game of the season. He was making quick work of setting up on the pitch. In spite of the cloudy day, the stands were full, enthusiasm filling the air as spectators got ready to cheer for the game. All that was left was for the players to complete their final preparations and for the captains to arrive with their line-up cards.

[Kirby Rosatta-Chevotet]

Kirby looked up at the clouds and frowned, she had rather hoped that it would be a nice and warm day when she took the smirk of those stupid lions faces. She was so ready to take them down a peg or two. "Listen up Ladies, and Enzo. We're not gonna let these New Zealanders take our rightful place as International Quidditch Champions are we? We already beat the Americans, let's show these flyers from down south what we're made of!" She said, before turning to give her line up to the Ref.​

[Felix Layton]

Felix wasn't sure if he was going to get the chance to play at all this year, but he supposed at least if nothing else, he was at least in a good position to play one day in the future.

 

[William Potter-Cade]

William gathered with his teammates and waited for the captains to give their little speech.

 

[Enzo Walden]

Enzo always enjoyed a trip trip to Hogwarts and a chance to beat their champions. He rocked up to the pitch and listened to Kirby give her speech, smirking at the way she addressed them.

 

[Ivy Cullen]

Ivy was looking forward to this game. Her family was all in the stands again and it would be her last game playing with Frasier which is a shame she would miss his quiet presence on the pitch. But it meant that next year she would be the most senior of the chasers which was exciting.
She made her way to the Gryffindor bench broom in one hand and water bottle in the other. She took a mouthful of drink ready to listen to the captains speech and get the game going.

 

[Celestine Gauthier]

Celestine was pretty frazzled from studying and from the show she was in, so she hadn't been able to put in as much time with Quidditch training as she should have. But today was about Kirby, and Celestine was more than happy to let her take centre stage. She was on vocal rest, so all she could really do was nod enthusiastically and give a big thumbs up, hoping they'd have a good game.

 

[Elsie Dupont]

elsie was excited for the game, she followed and gathered with the rest of her team as she listened to their captain.

 

[Fiona Burke]

fiona was absolutely pumped and she couldnt believe that they had made it this far if she was being honest. she gathered with the rest of her team as she waited for what their captains had to say. she had a good feeling about this game

 

[Teddy Pirrip]

Gryffindor had already won the house championship, but this match would decide whether they held onto the interschool title for a second year running. After the mess Teddy had made on the dueling platform, he needed a clean win, a game that was won the right way with his team. He gathered them for the pre-game chat, "Alright, champions. You know what to do. Let’s make Santiago and Fraser’s last game a good one yeah." He looked at the two of them, Fraser he had captained with, and Santiago had been on the team even longer than Teddy, "Thanks guys, I have loved playing alongside you both." He told them sincerely then broke away to sort out the lineup.

[Juneau Delarue]

Juneau arrived on the pitch ready to play. She listened to the pre-match speech then mounted her broom and prepared for the ref to start the game.

 

[Rose Edogawa]

Rose was happy to be here and support her team, even if she wouldn't be playing, she just liked being on the field and in the team.

 

[Reeve Buchanan]

Reeve made quick work of reviewing some rules with the captains and reviewing line-up cards before sending them back to their teams. It was time to get the game going. He looked up and addressed the crowd, sonorous charm in place, "This is the final match of the season! Gryffindor, you will be keeping the northern hoops and Beauxbatons, the southern ones. Time to fly!"

The referee opened the game chest and released the bludgers and the snitch as the teams made their way into the sky. Reeve grabbed his broom, quaffle in tow. A moment later he was in the air, tossing the quaffle into the sky and yelling "Game on!"

3. You should refresh the page before you post! Someone might sneak in a post while you are working on yours and first post counts.
4. You should always be pressing a button, whichever is appropriate for your game play during your post. Doing so boosts your success rate as well as allows the timer to kick in appropriately for your teammates and opponents.
5. After a player is hit by the bludger 3x, gameplay should stop. This allows for a quicker return to game post- substitution.
6. The game is meant to be interactive, so read your fellow players posts before posting! Stick with the game from beginning to end, from kicking off the ground to touching back down! Have fun!

fiona flew up into the air once the game begun, starting to look for a bludger to hit

elsie flew up once the game begun and hovered in front of the hoops, prepared for whoever got the quaffle first

 

[Celestine Gauthier]

Celestine decided to help @Fiona Burke out by hitting a bludger at her. She was aiming for the seeker, but the beater got in the way.

 

[Juneau Delarue]

Juneau was quick to get in the air and take early possession of the quaffle.

 

[Teddy Pirrip]

Teddy saw that Beauxbatons had taken possession of the quaffle. He readied himself in front of the hoops.

 

[Alicia Richelieu]

Alicia followed Juneau to support her if needed.

 

[Celestine Gauthier]

Celestine kept an eye out, curious about the Hogwarts students.

 

[Kirby Rosatta-Chevotet]

Kirby began that ever terrifying play of searching for the snitch.

 

[Ivy Cullen]

Ivy took to the air and saw the blonde girl who she had seen I. The corridor before take the quaffle. She flew towards them ready in case there was an opportunity to steal the ball.

 

[Juneau Delarue]

Juneau flew in a wide circle to try lose the Gryffindor chaser on her then toward the hoops where she faked left, sending the keeper lunging the wrong way as she threw the quaffle at the middle hoop which it cleanly sailed through.

[Teddy Pirrip]

Teddy was so annoyed that he'd gone the wrong way. He frowned, then retrieved the quaffle to throw out to a Gryffindor chaser.

 

[Kirby Rosatta-Chevotet]

Kirby scanned the horizon, simultaneously keeping her eye out for the snitch and for the other team's seeker.
