Quidditch Game: Beauxbatons vs Ilvermorny

Felicity let out a whoop as Gwydion managed a hit on the opposing beater, nearly getting a mouth full of her own hair as the wind blew it into her face.
 
Vincent was astonished at the teams throwing shade. He frowned as Malik got hit but kept his eyes out for the snitch.
 
Malik saw a bludger coming and tried to swerve out of the way, unfortunately for him, a strong gust of wind blew him right back into the path of it. Hitting bludgers was much better than being hit by them.
 
Micha swore under his breath as another bludger hit him. This wasn't good. He kept flying and hoped he could find the snitch before he got knocked out for good.
 
Gripping her bat tighter as Micha took another hit, Felicity turned sharply, chasing the bludger down and swinging hard. She'd tried to account for the wind, which was making things difficult, and let out a cheer as it worked, the bludger hitting @Vincent Poe cleanly, finally.
 
The wind made it easy to ignore the other players as Eren shot across the pitch, not wanting to give the American's unsteady looking keeper any time to react before he was already shooting the quaffle through the center hoop, grinning smugly.
 
Ava swung her bat another bludger but her aim was a little off and she shot it towards one of their beaters, @Gwydion Amos, by accident.
 
Zoey was happy to see her team was at least still in the lead and she hoped she could keep it that way when she grabbed hold of the quaffle. She raced to the other side of the pitch and kept her head down. she made it in better time than she expected and managed to toss it through the hoop. She grinned.
 
Xenia gave a small sigh of relief seeing Eren score. They weren't down and out yet. And their beaters were doing really well - even as a bludger hit Vincent in response. She focused, taking a deep breath and trying to push their captain riling her up to the side. She had to pull herself together.
 
Vincent felt a bludger hit his shoulder pretty harshly. He bit his lip to keep from cursing. He shook his head and rubbed his shoulder as he kept searching for the snitch.
 
Dion groaned as a bludger hit him, and another hit Micha. Their beaters were doing better than he had anticipated from looking at them. He swung his bat, but the bludger that hit him was gone by the time he could hit it forward.
 
Finding another bludger, Malik gave it a good whack, but groaned when it went off course and headed right for @Zoey Hawkins. That was not who he had been aiming for.
 
Micha was starting to feel the ache of his bludger hits but he kept pushing forward and looking for the snitch.
 
Eren rolled his eyes when the young American chaser managed to get past Xenia too. She looked about 12, he knew Xenia could do better. "Hey, focus up, Captain," he goaded her as he caught the quaffle again, watching with a raised eyebrow as Malik hit the chaser who'd just scored. "Bit slow on that one," he muttered, heading down the pitch.
 
They were taking a lot of hits and Felicity tried not to panic. At least next to know one cared about Quidditch in the States so they didn't have a huge turn out in the stands, but it still sucked. "All good?" She called to Gwydion as she saw him take a hit, though they both knew they should probably be worried more for Micha right now.
 
Vincent kept searching for the snitch.
 
Micha managed to avoid any more bludger hits and kept looking.

Xenia quietly wondered to herself if she had some sort of severe performance anxiety which meant she did a dismal job in matches.
 
Dion gave a thumbs-up back to Felicity, trying to move into something of a defensive position.
 
Vincent searched for the snitch, hoping that he could win it for his team.
 
Glad Dion seemed to be okay, Felicity moved closer to Micha, trying to keep the bludgers away to buy him more time.
 
They were still a point behind be Eren was happy to slowly claw the score back in their favour as he got another shot past the American's young keeper, giving her an exaggerated sad face before replacing it with a smug smile.
 
Malik looked for another bludger.
