Put Us Back Together

[Sophia Night]

When asking people about the list of names she had for deliveries today, Sophia had been slightly apprehensive to learn that she could usually find William Kaimarama outside. She didn't mind the outside, of course, it was just that there was so much space to search. She didn't want to traipse around all day in the hot sun, and she didn't have any sunblock with her. Sophia supposed she could always go up to her dormitory to apply some but ... perhaps she would have a quick search around the closer areas to the castle first. She was planning to find her last delivery recipient once she returned to the Hufflepuff common room, so it didn't seem practical to make one more trip there and back than was necessary. Decided, Sophia made her way outside and, once she was out on the Great Lawn, lifted her hand up to shade her eyes as she searched for someone to begin her search with.

Though William had heard people talking about how excited they were for Valentines roses recently, it hadn't really hit him the scope of just how much chaos was going to fill the school. Even the time they had spent in the Wild Patch getting the roses ready hadn't fully prepared him for the volume of flowers that were going to be running back and forth through the school. William hadn't bothered to send any himself, so he slipped outside before long, eager to get away from all this chaos. Maybe with everyone else distracted this would be the perfect time for an expedition William was long overdue to go on. So William had slipped away, to the edge of the so-called "Forbidden" Forest, to see if he could get a sense of what was so forbidden about a bunch of trees. William was more than comfortable in the bush, and he wanted to know the forest at least a bit before Maddy got to school, so he could show her around. Surveying the trees, William strolled along the side of the forest innocently, trying to see if he could pick out a good route through the trees to duck down.
