Orwell had made the decision to move the pride event to the wild patch, while it wasn't as much of an area that people visited, he figured that this year a little celebration outside of the walls of the school would be a good thing. He had carefully set up the gardens, given that it was the winter months, he'd put colourful lanterns, pride streamers, and various other decorations, the usual LGBT+ placards were placed in the ground, and he had the large amounts of information as he always did on his stall. With the amount of roses that had been grown for the valentines day celebration and in Orwell's attempt to bring life into a ultimately terrible situation, the ground around them was in a carpet of roses, weaving between the carefully set up areas where people could get the usual flower crowns, where people could just get roses, where he had Tholomyes once again sitting with the face paint, doing the final touches on his own, but Orwell was ready, it was kept warm by a spell he'd gotten the charms teacher to do, the only one he trusted to be able to do such a thing, and the entire area was vibrant with life and colours. Orwell had doubled the amount of food, and left a section specifically for anyone who wanted to play some music. Overall, Orwell was just proud to be able to have another Pride celebration, the rainbow haired teen knew it was different in being outside, but it was a lovely day and he knew it was important to celebrate Pride, and continue teaching students about the importance of such a celebration.

Tholomyes hadn't entirely agreed with the decision to have the Pride celebration outside this year, but he was pleasantly surprised by how the wild patch looked, it was entirely different, and there was just something about being able to walk on the rose petals which adorned the ground. Tholomyes was in his usual spot, painting faces had become as much a part of his life as exams and magic in general, and he didn't mind it. Theo loved contributing his time to the pride celebrations, he thought they were a perfect way to end the year, and though Theo himself was not LGBT, he knew it was important to support and help and celebrate with the community, in whatever struggle, he would always stand with them. The teen finished the paint on his own face, spending a great deal of care and time on painting an eagle with a rainbow tail on his cheek, it took far more effort and time than Theo would care admit but he thought the end product was worth it, and really that was all that matter, it was not very often that Tholomyes ended up liking his own work and knowing he'd be washing it off in a few hours meant he definitely didn't mind having it as much. As the teen sat waiting, he couldn't help but be happy to have given some of his time to helping out once more with the pride celebrations.

Having only been part of the Wild Patch Club for a year now, Eleanor didn't really see anything different with having the event outside of the castle. The only thing that seemed new was the appearance of the Hogwarts Gardens. The Hogwarts Gardens were the Hufflepuff's favourite place to spend her time and so she was glad that the event was outside and not inside where there was no fresh air and lacked the amazing smell of the surrounding flowers. Eleanor came early to this particular event as she had to have time to start making some flower crowns for her stall. She was excited to be an important part of the event this time and quite enjoyed just sitting there fiddling away with her newly found skill. She had been getting extremely good at it and was very proud of herself. Her best one yet sat nicely on the top of her head so everyone could see it. Other flower crowns that she had completed sat in front of her in a line so anyone walking past could grab one whenever they wanted and hopefully appreciate her work that she had put into them. As time went by, the line in front of her had soon turned into a big pile and she couldn't wait for everyone to pick their favourites.

Isaiah had been a little surprised in his conversations with his roommate about the displacement of the pride celebrations, but it wasn't a hinderance to Isaiah's attendance at the celebrations, in fact he had been looking forward to it, he expected to see his brothers at it, and was just happy for the celebration that they all got to enjoy. As he arrived, the teen could say that easily his concerns about the displacement had been unfounded, though he had expected it to be and look amazing, he was sure that the wild patch had outdone themselves. The ravenclaw captain smiled easily at his roommate, greeting him with a firm handshake a small congratulations, he was hoping to spot Archie, but it seemed like the elusive Gryffindor's whose sole task in life seemed to be frustrating Isaiah had not yet arrived, or was more likely off doing a task. Having done that, Isaiah decided to position himself with the food, he had prepared himself for this day, having painted the bisexual flag on to his cheek and stood with a deep look of pride at what had been achieved, and Isaiah was most pleased that the tradition had carried beyond that first year, he wondered if it would once Orwell had left the school when the both did the following year. He hoped someone, if not the members of the wild patch would continue the tradition. The teen poured himself a drink and picked up a brownie, munching happily on it, as he just let himself enjoy the celebration.

Given how much soul searching and finally realisations that Ares had done over the past year, he was beginning to really understand the importance of the pride celebrations and it was why he was so eager for them this year. He had grown up in a tolerant and open household, his father was gay, openly and proud. He had never had a discussion or been made to feel like any of it was wrong, as he was aware others might've. Ares had in the last year, realised that he himself, was gay. Ares had been happily accepting of the fact, to him even it had made sense. In first year where others already seemed to be interested in the girls of their year, Ares just hadn't been. His mind had been much more on the boys. Arriving at the gardens, the hufflepuff was feeling pretty happy, he rushed to his brother and enveloped in a tight hug.Pulling away after a moment and letting himself really look at what had been set up, and that was when he noticed Ellie giving out flower crowns, and it appeared that she was making them too. The hufflepuff made his way over to her, waving happily, "Ellie!" he greeted, smiling broadly at her, "You're in the wild patch?" he asked, since she was at one of the small "stalls" that usually were manned by the members of the wild patch.

Having met Orwell at the beginning of his first year, Marzen had never really forgotten the first friendly face he saw apart from his fellow housemates, but he'd never actively participated in the Wild Patch Club until now. One of his best friends Eleanor would be an active part in this years pride event (an event he didn't really understand) and while he was here with an ulterior motive he had used giving his friend support as an excuse to attend. Keeping an eye out for Xavier and the others he happily strolled along the grass towards the event, letting the flowery breeze fill his senses.

He saw one of his friends and walked towards her, a large grin on his face as he saw the flower crowns adorning her head and the space around her. "Hey, El, how's it going?" his accent slowly creeping back in. He twirled one of the crowns in his hands, one with poppies lining the front, unsure whether to put it on or not. "Hey, Ares, right?" He smiled at them, recognising the boy talking to his friend as his best friends brother, unsure where to go after this, having no excuse to look around. Coming to this event he hoped to find answers. answers to why he was different. answers as to why he didn't like girls but now he was here he didn't know who to ask, he'd been close to telling Xavier at the dance but hadn't built up the nerve, and ever since then he'd been busy with work to confide in his friends.

The wild patch looked less like a wild patch that day and more like something from a fairy tale book with petals, lights and bright colours everywhere. It was beautiful and Archie could barely take his eyes and the camera in his hands away from the scenery long enough to focus on the actual pride event. Much like previous years he wanted to capture the atmosphere for the sake of the memories before he focused on the people attending so as people began to arrive he ignored them, taking photos of each of the stalls and the beautiful flowers instead. When he was finished taking photos of the scenery he adjusted the camera strap over his shoulder and then approached Orwell, wrapping his arms around the other boy and capturing him in a tight and affectionate hug. He took a quick selfie with Orwell and shook the Polaroid in his hand as he returned to walking around the wild patch. Eventually he spotted Isaiah and didn't hesitate to also approach him though he refrained from giving the other boy a hug. "This place is really pretty today." He said, smiling as he waited for Isaiah to respond to him.

Xavier loved his family and their orientations so by extension he also loved the annual pride event and the positivity behind it all. He also loved that he could show support for people of other orientations regardless if they were his family and he more so loved that his school had such a celebration. But more than anything he loved that the pride celebration that year was held outside so he didn't have to walk far or properly interrupt his time bug hunting to attend. He approached the wild patch with a smile on his dirty face and soon spotted four of the people he loved most in the world; Ares, Isaiah Eleanor and Marzen. As he walked to approach his hufflesquad he waved to Isaiah, not wanting to disturb his older brother so they could both talk to their friends and have fun on that amazing and beautiful day. "Hey guys!" Xavier exclaimed as he arrived to his group of friends. "Can I have a flower crown?" He asked as he looked at he ones that were available, hoping he was allowed one and that there was one that suited him properly. "Yes, that is Ares. My amazing brother!" Xavier said to Marzen, glad that both boys were in the same place at the same time for a change because he had wanted to introduce them for a while.

The annual pride celebration marked one year of Pia coming out to the school. She was proud of herself for having the courage to accept herself as Bisexual and proud of Orwell for organizing and hosting such a celebration in support of other students. It was after all, part of the reason she had the guts to come out in the first place. Hogwarts clearly supported students on the LGBT spectrum and if it wasn't such an open minded, accepting place she was sure she would be keeping her sexuality to herself, too afraid to tell anyone but her closest friends and family. She was glad she didn't have to hide and could celebrate her sexuality as well as the sexualities of other students and professors alike so openly around the school. That was why she arrived to the wild patch as soon as she could and walked around the various stalls with a wide smile on her made up face. She passed the flower crown stand and took a crown, placing it on her head and adjusting it slightly so it didn't mess up her hair too much. As she adjusted her curls to fall properly on her shoulders she noticed Orwell standing at his stall. She smiled wider as she approached him. "You have done a very good job this year." She said. "I did not think this event could become more beautiful. The carpet of petals is my favourite."

A pride celebration was something Hogwarts certainly hadn't had in her day, and since hearing about it, Kahurangi had been debating with herself on whether to attend or not. It was scarier than she had expected, being back at Hogwarts reminded her of the days before she had felt comfortable enough to come out, and attending the event felt like doing so all over again. It wasn't until the morning of the event that she finally made up her mind. She had become a teacher to be a role model and guide for young people who needed help, and who knew, maybe having a teacher in a similar position to talk to would have made her own youth less scary. Maybe her presence now would be a comfort for students scared about their futures.

Having made up her mind, Kahurangi decided to be clear about her presence there, dressing in a t-shirt from her old lesbian soccer club back home, and adding a rainbow bracelet for good measure. She tried to swallow her nerves as she headed down the stairs and out of the castle, hoping she looked more confident than she felt. Catching sight of the rainbows and streamers was more comforting than she had expected, and Kahurangi actually managed to relax as she approached the gathering. It was really just another pride celebration after all, and she had been to plenty of those, even if she had never been in the capacity of a teacher before. She headed over to the food, wondering if any of the rest of the faculty would attend.

Niamh had never cared much for an event such as Pride, seeing as she felt like she stuck out like a sore thumb at these gatherings because she wasn't labelled or she didn't fit a certain stereotype. However she had been told about it by a particular girl and the girl's methods of persuasion had made the Slytherin want to go. She pushed through her hesitations and walked through the garden, feeling ridiculous and yet not so ridiculous as to allow someone to put a flower crown on her hair. She was not so soft to do that but she walked on anyway until she spotted the food table where a Professor just happened to be standing. The girl grabbed a marshmallow and said, "Hello Professor." She had nothing to offer just yet to anyone conversationally and didn't see the interesting girl who had lead Niamh here so she popped the sweet treat in her mouth.

As she made her way down to the Pride event of the year where the wild patch members were all gathered, Kaia could not help but feel slightly rebellious against her parents wishes. They were ones for tradition and if they ever saw her or her brother supporting Pride they'd have a fit. Which was why it had been more of a reason to join the Wild Patch if anything. Her cousins weren't in it which didn't exactly make her sad, she was indifferent to the fact. The brunette greeted members there and noticed she wasn't quite known to many people here and didn't know anyone so she stood to the side awkwardly, smiling occasionally at one or two people who noticed her arrival. Hopefully she wasn't late.
