Hey everybody!
This is not the announcement that everybody's been waiting for but, like in other years, this announcement does mean we're getting closer to the one you're waiting for.
Y15 is wrapping up. What does that mean, exactly? Well:[ul][li]Graduation is in full swing</LI>
[li]The end of the year feast is open[ul][li]This year we've brought back individual point earner awards. Check out the feast to see who topped the house points board this time around![/li][/ul][li]Exams have been posted, written (for the most part) and are marked or are being marked.[li]We're getting ready for Y16.[/li][/ul]
Now, what does getting ready for Y16 mean, exactly? A lot of changes in the next few days:[ul][li]First, all graduates will be moved to the HNZ Graduates group (probably sometime on Saturday - my time).[ul][li]Graduates will remain in this holding group for a maximum of two weeks, at which time they will be moved to the 'Members' group. If you have another group in mind for your graduating character, be sure to submit the appropriate request.[/li][/ul][li]Then, all students will be promoted to their next year level (your user group will change and your access to the gradebook will move up.[ul][li]With this promotion, you will receive information about your next year level including required school materials to buy.[/li][/ul][li]Holiday forums will open once again for all student characters to post in.<LI>[li]Once all of that work is out of the way, another announcement will be posted with the gruesome details or getting a character sorted in or transferred to HNZ.[/li][/ul]
Other exciting changes in the coming days will include information on who the new prefects, head boy, and head girl will be, as well as some tweaks we've made in preparation for Y16[note]One of these changes can already be seen in house common rooms with new class schedules being put in to effect[note].
If you have any questions or concerns about the coming days, feel free to prod and ask. Otherwise, sit back and relax - wrap up any remaining loose ends of Y15 and prepare yourself for the magic that Y16 promises.
