Relieved that exams were over, Estrella figured that it was high time to make her way down to the Quidditch Pitch with her new Amethyst Streak. These brooms were supposed to be top notch, and she thought, Well, I'll find out soon enough.
Swinging her leg over her broom, she kicked off from the ground, and immediately noticed the quality of this broom right away. It flew smoothly, regardless of the slight wind and the immense speed that it was moving at. Much better than a firebolt, and way more dependable, it seemed.
Estrella got used to the broom right away, and did a barrel roll through the hoops, this side of the pitch her expertise as a keeper. Stunts were amazingly fun on this broom, if harder. She stood up on the broom, zooming around the pitch, her mood lightened considerably by the exhilaration of flying.
She smiled as the wind whipped into her face, cooling it off on the muggy summer day. School was almost over, and although she had gotten used to dreading breaks, she knew, for some reason, that this summer was going to be great. After all that had happened, it was hard to believe, but she just knew it. Not to mention that she was going to be spending the summer at Kale's.
As she did stunts all by herself, she wondered if anyone was going to join her out here. She didn't mind being alone, but company wouldn't be bad either.
