Lucca was never one who dreamed about his future plans growing up as a kid back in Salem. He wasn't the type to desire them, it just didn't happen for him. Which makes him different from other Slytherins, since he lacked ambition and that was one of the characteristics that make up Slytherin traits. In fact, Lucca seems to lack other Slytherin traits and it makes him question his placement in the house. He strongly felt he should've been sorted into Gryffindor, or maybe the same house as his sister. The sorting hat does ponder at times during sorting ceremony, it can't always be right. With one semester left before graduating, he has been thinking recently that all has to change. He needed to think of his future, what he wanted to be in life, where he wanted to go. Lucca thought of heading off back to America, but maybe somewhere on the west coast. Portland, Oregon or Los Angeles, California comes to mind. He doesn't know why those places just call to him. He does have that option to run the shop back home, Maya has reminded recently about it. Lucca had some things to consider, however, he really didn't want the shop. He didn't know what he wanted, but he was sure that he didn't want to run the shop at all.
