Diana hadn't thought she would go to the Halloween feast, but here she was. Domi was to blame, as her friend had talked her into it. The two had planned a matching costume, but Diana hadn't agreed on it until Domi had said she could be Rizzo. The costume looked great, and she knew she looked good in it, but she still felt a wave of melancholy hit her as they entered the great hall. All she could think about was how Halloween was both Edmund's favorite holiday and his birthday. She scanned the great hall for any sign of him or his twin, but was grateful not to see either of them. She looked at Domi, and a small smile appeared on her face. "We're definitely best dressed." She told her friend, though it wasn't with her usual air of confidence. "What do you want to do?" Domi had dragged her here, so it was up to her to find entertainment in Diana's opinion. If the night was boring, she would be out of here.

Domi knew that tonight was going to be amazing. She was going to make it amazing. Rooming with Diana, Domi could see the hurt every day on the face of one of her best friends. She had never really seen the appeal of that weird boy Diana was dating, but it was undeniable how fond Diana had been of him, and Domi knew the breakup had been incredibly rough for her. She had done her best to support her friend, but Domi could only do so much, when Diana was so hurt. Tonight was Domi's masterwork though. She had convinced Diana to come out for Halloween, and helped arrange matching costumes for the pair of them. They looked totally cute, and Domi was going to make sure that tonight Diana had a ton of fun, and forgot all about that gross boy. "Absolutely." Domi said with confidence, smiling as she looked around the room. "No contest. We look super awesome." She paused when Diana asked what they should do, looking around the room for a moment. "Hmm... Oh! There's a pinata over there!" Domi said, bouncing a little with excitement. "Let's go try that out!" Domi was hoping they'd find Winnie here so the two of them could team up to cheer Diana up, but in the mean time, she was going to try her best.

Winnie had been looking forward to Halloween, seeing it as a chance to dress up and play a character rather than act like her frustrated and insecure self. That night she wanted to feel confident and proper, poised as she attended the Halloween feast, and she couldn't have thought of a better costume to portray such a demeanor than a ballerina. Her entire costume was pink, and the tutu was gorgeous with many frills. Winnie felt as if this was the perfect opportunity to forget about the worry of understanding her classes and what was happening at home which had been plaguing her to spend time with her best friends. She looked around as she arrived to the hall and spotted Diana and Domi quickly, straightening her posture as she walked over to them with what she hoped was the gracefulness of a real ballerina. It was only as Winnie approached her friends that she noticed their costumes were similar, and the realization hit her that she had been left out of whatever group costume they had organized. Trying not to show the sudden jealousy and anger that washed over her as it would break the character she was playing, Winnie greeted her friends. "Hey guys! Nice costumes. What are you dressed as?" She asked, looking both girls up and down.

Diana looked over at her friend, feeling oddly grateful to Domi for convincing her to come. If she had spent the night sulking in her bedroom, she was sure she would've felt worse than she felt now. It made her feel better to know that Edmund apparently wasn't here. Normally he and his brother would be in some costume that caught everyone's eye, but they were nowhere to be seen. That made her feel superior. Apparently Edmund was sulking in his bedroom, while Diana was here in an awesome costume. It would show how over him she was, even if she wasn't. Diana looked over at the piñata Domi mentioned, but pulled a face. "Ew, are you kidding? Jacob is there." She said, never having made a secret of her dislike for the boy. She rolled her eyes, as if Domi was an idiot for even suggesting it. Before she could come with a better alternative, Winnie showed up in a ballerina costume. It was certainly pretty, but Diana thought her and Domi were definitely better dressed. Besides, the pink clashed with Winnie's red hair. Diana smiled as her friend approached. "Hi Winnie, you look cute." She said, adjusting her scarf. "We're dressed as the Pink Ladies, it's from Grease, a muggle movie." She shrugged. "Bit hard to explain right now. But it's cute we're all in pink, don't you think?"
