Amber was feeling good lately, she really liked dating Ainsley and being with her, and even though the OWLs were coming fairly soon she felt on top of her studies. Dropping two subjects had been the right move for her own peace of mind, which caused her to not feel like she was drowning in things she had to do. That didn't mean she didn't have to study, unfortunately. But with the nice weather, she knew she wanted to study outside. With the divination book in her arms, she made her way out to the courtyard. It seemed like she hadn't been the only person that wanted to enjoy the last summer month outside, as there were a lot of other students as well. Finally, she spotted an empty spot on a bench next to a girl she recognized. Anabelle was a girl in her own year, though she had never really talked much to her. A few years ago, she had been dating Rory Fergusson, one of the people Amber liked the least. The boy was just very unpleasant. But she hadn't seen Anabelle with him recently so decided to take the chance. With a small smile, she took a seat next to her. "Nice day, right?" She said with a smile. "Do you mind if I sit here?"

Anabelle was feeling the best she had in awhile. She knew it had something to do with Aaron, and even though the two of them weren't really seeing each other (yet, she hoped), the Slytherin was enjoying getting to know him. Anabelle was still curious to find out who had sent her a rose, as it turned out to not be Aaron, a sort of embarrassing encounter at the Valentines Dance when she realized she had told him that it had been her that had sent him one, but not him that sent her one. It didn't matter too much though, apart from wanting to know who sent it to her, Anabelle wasn't upset about it. It was a good feeling, to be liked, even if she didn't know who was liking her. Unfortunately, the girl had nothing to go on and no ideas on how to figure out who it was. And little to no time to even begin to try and discover the secret; OWLs were fast approaching. The blonde still wasn't a huge fan of being cooped up inside the dungeons, or inside at all, so she had taken to studying outside. Anabelle sat on the bench, enjoying the sunshine and hardly focusing on her work when a voice spoke to her. She looked up, her stomach twisting somewhat at seeing Amber. Anabelle had hardly ever interacted with Amber, and the only things she knew from her were what Rory had said, and the two didn't like each other. During their dating time, Anabelle chose not to like Amber either, only to be loyal to Rory. Being outside of the relationship, and once she had gotten over him, Anabelle knew that the whole situation was probably Rory's fault anyway, but it didn't stop the awkward feeling the girl had. She gave the girl a small smile, moving a couple of her books over. "Sure." Anabelle said, though not sure what else to say. There wasn't any harm in letting her sit there right? At least this way, she could figure out if Amber was the horrible person Rory had said she was. "So... erm... how are you?"
