Leda was still on a high from winning the last game, but if Slytherin were going to keep their reign for the next few years then she had a few things she wanted to pass on. Leda had been playing the position of seeker for five years, but she knew it was the right time to move on from it now. She’d done what she set out to do, and it was Blake that would be taking the baton for them now. She’d seen that his competitive streak was almost more intense than hers was and she had no doubt he would give it everything he’d got. With just the international games on the horizon until Blake would take centre stage, Leda had asked to meet him on the pitch, just the two of them. She didn’t need to bring anything except for the golden snitch, which currently sat quietly in her pocket, waiting for its time to shine.

The Quidditch season was all but over, and with only the match against Beauxbatons ahead, Blake was itching for this year to be over. After four years in the shadows, he was beyond ready to step into the position he felt he was destined for, to finally show the school what he was really made of. The sooner Leda graduated, the better. He wasn't thinking much about Quidditch for the rest of the year though, so when Leda summoned him to the pitch it piqued his curiosity, wondering what would cause her to want to talk to him. Anything that got Blake away from his dorm was a plus, as far as he was concerned. Entering the pitch, Blake crossed to meet the captain, raising an eyebrow as he approached her. "What's up?" Blake asked, coming to a stop and folding his arms.
