Out in the open at last

"Nice to meet you Knight," Joceline said sweetly then she began to twirl her brown hair in her fingers, the small action looking almost endearing then she looked over at the boy, and she asked curiously, "You're Henric right?" Joceline recognized him from what she had heard but she couldn't be sure. Joceline looked back over to Knight and smiled once more.

"Take a seat Joceline," Scorpius said with a smile and gesturing to the ground around them. "So what house are you two in?" he asked, since he already knew Anouk was in his own house.

Joceline smiled at the boy then took a seat beside him and said, "I'm in Slytherin, what about you?" Joceline began to play with her curly brown hair sheepishly as she waited for a response, she was so nervous around people, she had to act like an extrovert to actually meet people, it was a bit ridicules.

Quietly pausing and contemplating the new arrival, when the question was poised, he paused for a slight moment. "Slytherin as well." Henric replied abruptly, allowing his hands to comb across his dark hair. It blew lightly in the wind, with his equally dark, black eyes, scanning Scorpius for expression, then turning to Anouk and reading her features in the same way; none of the three were what you would call ugly, mostly charming really. Henric quickly lost interest conversing with Joceline when he heard Scorpius' name - so this was the one who had started, or was in a fight, such as school rumors tell. "Scorpius Knight." He repeated, his finely carved features maintaining the smile etched on his face. "I overheard Toni Addison talking about you in the Common."

Anouk watched the boy who'd called himself Lee look her over and the corner of her mouth tugged into a slight smile. Surveying him quietly as he talked to Scorpious, Anouk noted his confident movements, maticulously placed words and his all round arrogance.

Intreeging.... she thought to herself. The air he held around him was so heavy she felt that if she reached out it might warp around her and cling to her skin like some form of bad ouder.

Allowing her focus to slide from Lee she looked over at the girl her own age. Rasing her hand to the girl she smiled in greeting as the three talked amoungst themselfs.

Anouk didnt mind the fact that nobody seemed to be speaking directly to her. Infact this suited her quite well as her focus honed in on the slytherin boy once again. Something about him captivated her a little. It didnt really suprise her that she hadnt heard of him, she tended to keep away from most crowds, but his demenour of self proclamed infamy made her laugh gently as she started to say something for the first time.

"Sorry I've been so quiet Joceline, its a pleasure to meet you" Anouk said smoothly. Her carefully planted words excluded the black haired boy to see what kind of reaction would occur.

Henric's black, tunneling orbs shot right at Anouk's eyes, like an arrow shot into the pupil. The sensation was usually uncomfortable, causing the victim to feel as if their mind had been read and their thoughts were being dragged out of their head. He folded his arms smoothly, penetrating gaze not letting up for one minute; he merely turned his head after a moment, as if satisfied. His pale hand rose and put itself in her path, and he stood right next to Jocline as if to prove his point. All the while, a wide smile plastered on his face. "Didn't notice you there, how you doing?" He quipped, malicious orbs still fixed upon her features.

Anouk blinked unphased as his eyes shifted from her after a moment. The stare sort of reminded her of her neighbors dogs stare. The one it always gave her before she turned to it, whereupon the 'brave thing's' tail sliped between its legs as it turned scapering away from her. She had always had a way with dogs...

Raising her hand to mimic his she smiled at him, keeping the rest of her face in a relaxed, almost uncareing expression. "Oh hey" she replied, her voice lulling in a warm gentle tone. She left the rest of his greeting unaswered in a natural way, allowing him to press if if he was really interested.

[ Tis happens. When one is eager to post. xD ]

Raising a hand to pull the long strands of dark hair away from his eyes, Henric's unwavering gaze matched hers for a moment. Then the edges of his lips curled in a slight smirk, before it was washed away and replaced with the same charming smile he always had on when he spoke. A slight drop of his robes revealed a symbolic taoist marking on his wrist, which he was swift to pull over and conceal again. "How's everyone getting used to school?" Henric asked smoothly, whistling at a bird that fluttered down to his shoulder. For some reason animals found Henric a very nice perch.

Anouk's eyes were drawn to the slip of his sleave, and caught a quick glimps of the marking before he stashed it away. Slightly confused, the hazy image she saw etched into her mind and she stored it away in the depths of her mind.

Not one to be the center of conversation, she allowed his question to slide past her, figuring one of the other two would feild it for her.

It wasnt until the bird landed on his shoulder that her interest was fully sparked. She belivevd for some reason that animals were natuaral judges of people personalities although she's not sure where the belief formed from. Convexed, the mixed signals from her own annalysis compared to the birds her brows furrowed a little. This doesn't make sence.. she thought, mystified as to whether this really meant anything or not.

"Ravenclaw," Scorpius said simply as he answered Joceline's question. Scorpius quickly turned his gaze from Joceline to Henric when he mentioned Toni. "What did she say?" he asked curiously, though not expecting a straight answer. Scorpius wanted to roll his eyes at how dramatic Henric made himself out to be. Was it impossible for him to relax for a while without staring into peoples eyes trying to scare them? Scorpius wanted to roll his eyes at his actions but stopped himself from doing so.

[Where did you see Toni? I didn't see that at all :p ]

Joceline seemed to zone out until she heard Knight ask something, and she jumped in slight surprise. Then blushed in embarasement and shook her head slightly to come back to reality then she put her hands behind her and leaned on them sheepishly. And listened to the quiet coversation, slightly regretting her desicion to come over to them.

"Nothing much." Henric replied softly, bowing his head and moving his arms out in his usual dramatic fashion, as if greeting some sort of incoming hurricane. "Only mentioned your name once in a passing conversation with someone else. Scorpius is a unique name, you can put two with two." For a moment, the boy zoned out as his eyes glazed over. Then his attention snapped back to Scorpius, "Is it from the constellation?" Henric asked, suddenly interested, as he allowed the bird to jump from his shoulder to his outstretched hand. "Your name." He added, as if he didn't understand.

[Read this post Joceline. I should've specified who I was asking it to, sorry!]

Scorpius nodded his head at Henric's words. "Yes," he answered his question of his name being from the constellation. "My little brother's name is also Orion," he decided to add. He turned to the rest of the group, deciding not to keep his conversation with Henric a two-person topic. "Do you all have siblings?" he asked them in general.

Henric cocked his head slightly; the constellations, interesting, perhaps he was more than the bumbling brainy buffoon he had imprinted into his head as the stereotype for most male Ravenclaws. "I do not know if I have siblings." Henric replied coldly to the overall question directed at them all, reaching his hand out and thrusting it up, allowing the bird to take flight; feathers cascaded down upon him as he waved the strands of dark hair out of his eyes. Very interesting. All of them, how very interesting.

Anouks eyes clouded over slightly at the mention of sibligngs. Theres no reason to overreact she reasured herself, turning to face scorpius again.

"I have one brother" she said offhandedly, as if it really didnt matter to ehr at all. Eager to keep the conversation flowing away from this topic she poised "What about you Scorpius? Joceline?". She didnt bother asking Lee, as she had heard his rather odd reply. She turned the implications of his statment over slowly in her mind, but reminded herself in the end she had no right to judge him or anyone else for that matter on odd 'sibling historys'.
