The day after Colton's twenty-second birthday was the day that he finally got off of work and could owl Gabrielle to meet up with him in front of a nice wizarding restaurant. Colton was dressed rather nicely, but he did not overdo it either. His hair was combed neatly, and he had a light scent of cologne on him. He did not wear much, nor did he need to. It was not like he went days without showering and all. Though he did shower at least twice a day. Colton was too overly clean for the life of him, but that is what he liked though. He liked being impressively clean and sharp, and he normally did not do it to impress anyone.

It was almost eight, and that was when Colton had told Gabrielle to meet him, where he was waiting by the entrance. He would of course take her home later that evening, as he had work in the morning, and he would return to his own house for the night. Things were going well for him, but to be honest, he was rather nervous about this night. It could be a date, and it could be eating out as friends. He was not really sure, but he counted it as a date. He was very unsocial, and this was definitely going out of his comfort zone. He was not used to someone being around him, let alone dating him. He had only been with one girl before, and they did not date.

It was out of pure desires, and it was his best friend. Things fell apart after one night of sexual intercourse. Colton would not make that mistake again, and he doubted that he and Gabrielle would get that far. He was supposed to be assisting her in being a healer, and that was what he was going to talk to her about tonight. He did not mind that the date was after his own birthday. It was merely another day. No cards, no presents, no visitations. He simply worked that day, studied and went to bed. Nothing abnormal about that day at all. Colton was a strange fellow. Though if he had many friends, he would have done something special for their birthday.

Alas, he was too busy even for friends. Colton glanced down and wondered what time it was. He often arrived at these things quite early, and he was nervous as can be about this whole thing. Not like he could help it though. Colton was always nervous about things that did not seem to fit in his alternative lifestyle so to speak. He could feel the Spring air hit him, and thought of how different it was in New Zealand. In fact, he had no idea where she lived actually. Did she live in New Zealand, or somewhere in Europe? He was going to be living in New Zealand while that school was not in session, so this whole moving thing will confuse Colton so much. He sighed and wondered how long would it be now.

Gabrielle carefully lifted snowy pale hand to run it through her light blonde hair for a moment as she stared at herself in the Mirror for a moment longer, she figured she looked good enough by this point to go out. Of course Gabrielle had never been on a date or anything of the sort before but she still seemed to have a pretty good idea on what she was doing. Or as her sister so boldly pointed out when she was hanging out with them for a few hours in town earlier, now she was all alone though and mentally preparing herself for tonight. Though Gabrielle was thinking tonight as a date she wasn't sure what Colton though about it since he sort of seemed like he was either just not used to people or he didn't like her all that much. Honestly she had no idea why he would either after she screamed at him that day when she thought she was pregnant. Sadly that was due to how she was unable to control her emotions when she was really stressed or upset. The thought of her being pregnant with a man's child that she didn't even like was enough but when she was warned about the sickness and danger that could come from her infertility issues she completely panicked. Sparing some perfume on herself that vaguely smelled of citrus and flowers, her favorite scents she smiled softly and grabbed her purse before she apparated to the place where she was supposed to meet Colton. The moment she arrived there she sighed and allowed herself to relax, she hated Apparating sometimes. It was just about eight but the night felt really young still. Maybe it was because she was a little excited to be going out. To her it beat the night sitting outside stargazing alone like she usually did. Even if she liked to look at the stars sometimes. They always made her feel better, except on nights where they weren't shining or anything.

Once she spotted Colton she gracefully made her way over to him. Gabrielle could never thank her mother enough for passing down the Graceful trait like she and so many other Lefevre descendants had. It always made her movements look angelic or smooth, though it didn't appear that way when she became stressed and couldn't control herself. Then she sort of moved like a tyrant in heels. Her silky hair gleamed in the moonlight and her crystal blue eyes sparkled, although Gabrielle didn't really think so she was indeed quite pretty. Another gift she wanted to thank her mom for giving her. Colton didn't really know much about her but she was sure one thing that he will pick up over time if he continued to spend time with her, and that was that she was severely beaten down on as a child. Sure she had been struck by her father countless times but she was referring to was mentally. Her father liked to put her down a lot but still push her as hard as he could, only to insult her more. It made it hard for her to be confident in herself these days, especially when she was kicked out for being a Healer. Gabrielle had a cold heart that held a hint of warmth to it, all it needed was someone to warm it up even further. By this point she had finally reached where Colton was and decided to speak to him.

"Sorry if I'm a little late. I was spending time with my younger sisters earlier and sort of lost track of time. I didn't keep you waiting long did I?" Gabrielle gave him a sheepish smile before she swatted at a bug that decided to fly into her face with that annoying buzzing sound they all seemed to have. Once the dang bug was gone she was able to get a better look at Colton, he looked..really good. Like good enough to the point where she thought even her mom would agree that he was a looker. Well okay her mother would never say that and probably wouldn't even think it, but he was that cute. And he smelled good too. "Don't you look handsome!" Gabrielle commented gently but not at all flirty at the same time as they would be highly inappropriate. She was tempted to say he actually looked beyond gorgeous but also not appropriate for either of them. Hopefully he wasn't upset if she was a teeny bit late, she didn't think she had waited that long. If he wanted another apology she could easily dish it out too. It made her feel horrible.

Seconds turned to minutes as they slowly trailed on. Colton did not mind if she were late or not. To him, it would be time to gather his nerves. He was nervous about this whole thing, even though he really should not be. Colton let out a soft sigh and he thought this whole thing through, trying to plan out each event. He did not like unpredictable moment in his life, because it was never to be expected. Colton thought about greeting her, and then leading into the restaurant to their table, and then talking, eating, paying, and then leaving. Seemed easy, right? Colton thought about the time, and knew it was a little later than eight, but not by much. It was a good thing that he did not mind someone being late on occasion. He was always too early for his own good, and never been late to anything. Always the early bird.

Glancing up, he saw Gabrielle approaching him. She looked absolutely beautiful, and he wondered if he could even talk to her. Normally, he was not an aesthetics person. He cared more about the inside than the outside. He could have dated the ugliest woman in history and he would not have cared in the least bit as long as she made him happy and all. Colton leaned off of the wall that he was leaning against, and slid his hands out of his pockets. He was naturally a shy guy, but he would have to go against that a bit tonight, if he wanted tonight to end well. Tonight had to end well for him, he hated it when things went bad. When something went bad, Colton usually hijacked it out of there or he goes silent and tries to think of a way to solve the inconvenience which does not usually end up well anyway.

Colton smiled lightly at her reasoning for being late and he turned to face her completely. And faintly, one could see the red hue on his cheeks when she called him handsome. Most certainly not what he was expecting, but it was better than the other words he were called on occasion, 'hot' or 'sexy'. Colton found his voice and he murmured, "You look stunning, Gabrielle." Though he did not know how to flirt, that most certainly not a flirt. It was more of a 'please don't notice my nervousness'. He decided that he needed to raise his voice from barely comprehending to understanding, "Don't worry about being late. Though we should head in before our table is taken." Colton did not want to really choke up or make a fool of himself, so he decided to lead the way into the restaurant where they were seated and a waiter would soon come and ask for beverages.

Gabrielle quickly noted that Colton didn't seemed to mind too much that she was late, in fact the smile on his face told her that her reason seemed to be perfectly fine with him. Her compliment also seemed to hit a shy string in him because she watched as his cheeks turned a red hue that almost made her want to giggle, she didn't like however because he indeed looked handsome. "Oh..thanks!" She was almost taken aback when she heard him call her stunning. Colton was by far one of the most respectful guys she had ever met just by the way he spoke and treated her. Stunning was something she had never been called before by a guy, mostly hot and sexy did and sometimes those words could really make a girl feel bad. It made them feel more like an object than an actual human. When Colton told her that the two of them should go in before their table was taken she nodded softly in agreement. He lead the way into the restaurant and soon they were seated, she had to admit that it was so nice here. Since she had never been on a date before Gabrielle sort of had no idea what she should expect. Honestly she was really just happy being out and in good company with someone who was going to be helping her train. Without him she wouldn't be able to get anywhere close to being the person she wanted to be. but in a way she wondered if Colton would ever care to hear the reason why she didn't become a Healer already? Most people figured that it was no business of theirs and turned the other cheek on her. This was probably the reason that Alphonse had gotten away with abuse on his children for so long. Because no one really cared enough to stop him. A small shudder brought Gabrielle from her thoughts. She hated thinking about her father. He was the one person who could make her wish that she was never born or never around because he just loved to bring her down in any way he could. She was Danielle Lefevre's precious daughter so in his eyes she was nothing but a cold-hearted demon.

When a waiter came to ask for beverages Gabrielle turned to the man and ordered an ice team with no sugar but honey instead before she turned to look at Colton. One thing she did indeed love it was honey. Well she couldn't eat it straight out of the container or anything but she loved to put it in or on things. Turning to Colton she smirked when she remembered something. "So I met your little sister Ariah today. Apparently her and my little brother go to school together and she hounded him to introduce us. She's such a cutie pie!" Gabrielle told Colton softly a small on her face the whole time she told him the small little bit about his younger sister. Of course the first thing Gabrielle noticed was that she was oddly short compared to her brother's height but at the same time she had gorgeous eyes. They looked a little different but there was something about the face that made Colton and Ariah looked very alike at the same time. The odd part about Gabrielle and her siblings was that they all looked very alike, even those with separate mothers. All of them were natural blonde's too seeing as Alphonse seemed to have a thing for blonde woman in his lifetime.

Colton glanced to the waiter when Gabrielle ordered her drink and he turned and ordered some coffee with cream and no sugar. What could he say? He was addicted to the stuff. He had begun to drink it ever since he was merely fifteen. It helped him function just like any other addiction. Colton watched the waiter come back and bring them their drinks, before leaving to check on other tables. He would be back to get their orders. Colton flipped through the menu and he quickly decided that he wanted a grilled chicken dish with fries on the side. He was not much for a health nut when it came to eating out and all. He glanced up when she mentioned that she met his little sister Ariah. His dark eyes widened and he let out a groan. Why in the world did she have to go that far to seek out Gabrielle?

Setting the menu down, face up, Colton folded his hands together upon the menu, and he made sure to keep his elbows from the table at all times. He inquired, "Um, you met Ariah? Uh, she didn't say anything out of the ordinary, did she?" He hoped that she did not mention him or anything like that, because it would be too awkward for him to stand. Colton prayed that his sister would not get too involved in his own personal life. Granted, she was a part of his life now, but he hoped that she would not go as far as setting him up for marriage or something when he himself did not even know what being in a relationship was all about. Colton sighed a bit, and managed to contain a cool composure, something he learned how to do in certain events in the hospital. Colton did not exactly see the point in having someone seek out someone for going on one date with their sibling, but he didn't have siblings growing up so he did not know anyway.

Gabrielle blinked owlishly for a moment before she raised a perfectly eyebrow at Colton when he ordered someone called coffee and he wanted ti with cream and no sugar. she knew was cream and sugar was but honestly she had no absolute idea what Coffee was since no one in her house or family drank it or brought it in the house in general. After a moment of trying to guess Gabrielle watched the waiter walk away before she leaned in and asked almost quietly, "What is coffee?" Gabrielle asked the man sitting across from her almost as if it were a sin not to know what in the world Coffee was. Once she had asked her question Gabrielle leaned away from Colton and looked around the place before got to work on looking through her menu. She wondered what Colton was getting out of curiosity but not because she intended to order the same thing but just get an idea on what kinds of food he liked other than pancakes. Eventually she just decided on getting a grilled chicken sandwich. Chicken was about the only meat that she would really eat thanks to her brother ruining it for her when he so nicely told her about how other kinds of meats were processed. It was so gross to even think about at a time like this. When Gabrielle heard Colton let out a groan after she told him about his sister her eyebrows furrowed for a second. Did he not like her talking to his siblings or something? Gabrielle averted her gaze to the ground for a second before she let them returned to Colton. One thing she was finding herself constantly faced with was people not really liking her for anything other than her looks. Her mother had the same problem and in the end it changed the woman and Gabrielle completely. She would never let herself go down the same path.

"Well um all she said was that she wanted to make sure I wasn't a soul sucking harpie and that I was really tall. She didn't mention you at all, except that you were older brother." Gabrielle answered almost as if she were confused but she was merely trying to recall all of the events. The blonde didn't remember them saying anything about Colton except that the two were related and that was about it. The soul sucking harpie part would have made her laugh too but she was rather confused about the whole thing. Was it because of the Veelas in her family that she did that or did Colton have rough relationships in the past? Maybe she was just protective and didn't want anyone to harm her brother. Gabrielle wasn't sure but it had taken her by surprise. That and how short the girl was herself but she was just too cute for Gabrielle to worry about. "You don't mind that I talked to her do you?" The blonde asked as her sky blue eyes looked at him worriedly. She felt that it was better to know now if he didn't like her around his family or something. Personally she would rather not screw this date up or the trust she had built with Colton yet so she hoped he didn't mind.

Taking his cup into his hand, Colton took a drink of the caffeinated beverage, though when Gabrielle asked what coffee was, he almost choked on it. Taking a napkin into his hand, he dabbed his lips free of the drink that he could have spilled upon him when he choked on her question. How could someone not know about coffee? What did she drink in the morning to wake up and be on her feet? Because of coffee, Colton could focus in the morning. He needed it to be on his feet for patients and all. so that he could diagnose them at his best state and knowledge. It kept him going, and the thought of someone not knowing what it was just came as a total shock for him. Colton took in a deep breath and wondered how to explain coffee to her. He bit his lip, trying to think of words that would not come to his mind.

Finally figuring out something, Colton answered, "It is a caffeinated drink made from coffee beans. Kind of similar to chocolate, and how hot chocolate is made, but coffee has less sugar and more caffeine to help with energy. It is a bitter drink when it doesn't have anything else in it." It was rather difficult to describe to someone who had had never had coffee or even know what the substance was. "It gives me energy and helps me focus, to put it plainly." Colton thought that he had explained it rather well, and it was the only way to really explain what that stuff was. He put the cup to his lips once more and took a drink from the warm liquid, almost hot to the tongue. Though he could take a little heat every now and again. He drank coffee so much in the morning, one would think he could sweat it.

Colton chuckled at the answer that she gave. He did not picture her as a soul sucking harpie at all. The furtherest thing off of that actually. But Ariah did not mention anything like them getting together or something of the sort. Colton hoped that she would not try to play cupid. "Oh, I see. I guess it could have been worse." He gave a light hearted shrug and he took another drink of his coffee. The wait came by and Colton ordered a grilled chicken strips with fries on the side. After the waiter took up the other for Gabrielle, he went on his way to go make the food, or get the makers of the food to make it. Colton shook his head, "No, I don't mind at all. Just a little surprised that she went out of her way to meet you." Colton moved some of the hair that fell in his face, and he shrugged lightly, but did not know how else to convince her that it was no big deal.

Gabrielle looked worriedly at Colton when he almost choked on the drink that he had just taken a drink of. He seemed to be in shock or something over the fact that she had never had Coffee before. It must be that good if he was looking at her like that then, with a small shrug of her shoulders the blonde giggled and his reaction because she found it to not only cute but just a little funny too. Then eventually he began to explain exactly what Coffee was and such. It sounded so strange to Gabrielle but she listened in with strong interest. In the end he added in that gave him energy and helped it focus. "Huh, sounds interesting. I should try some coffee sometime though I think my caretaker forbid be from drinking it when I was younger for some reason. But um is there a reason you need to focus right now?" Gabrielle's eyes gestured to the cup of coffee he was currently drinking before she took a hold of her own drink and took a dainty sip of it. Oh how she loved ice tea and honey, it made her so relaxed. Then again there wasn't much she needed to relax from anyhow because as of a few minute's ago she decided that she no longer felt nervous about tonight. Sure it was the first actual date she had been on but Colton seemed like a really nice guy and the only way she really wanted to gain anyone's attentions or affections was by being herself. Hopefully that would be enough for Colton because flaunting her body and those pretty baby blues of hers wasn't something she really ever wanted to do.

"Oh good. I was worried you were upset. I'm not even sure she came by to check me out..all I know if that she was following after my little brother. He didn't look to happy but eh...I think your sister's just not to used to Veela's." Gabrielle shrugged her shoulders as she tried to give Colton a rough guess on what else could have happened. Of course the blonde didn't know of her engagement or the crush she had on some other boy in her house. She had no idea about Leviathan and only based her guess on whats he saw earlier today. It wasn't a surprise to have Theodore surrounded by strange little girls. The Veela blood was hard to resist if you didn't live around them or become used to them. Then again the more Veela blood one had the more easily they could charm or attract someone. When the waiter came around and took their orders she waited for Colton to give the man his before she ordered her grilled chicken sandwich with a Caesar salad on the side, even if she was a twig and an ex-ballerina dancer she still wasn't afraid to eat.

With a gentle sigh Gabrielle figured that she better thank him again for teaching her some Healing and stuff, he would never have an idea how much that really meant to her. "So once again, I have to thank you so much for helping to train me to become a Healer. My dad isn't so happy but, I guess I didn't get kicked out for nothing." Sometimes she still thought that her father controlled her even though she had moved out but then she remembered that she made a deal with him. If she could last then she could do whatever she wanted. Thens he was kicked out and almost nowhere to go until her mother and her aunt stepped in to help her out. since Danielle now had another life of her own she didn't really have the time to deal with Gabrielle but she helped all she could and for that Gabrielle was thankful.

Colton did not know what to think when he heard her giggle. It was strange enough just seeing her smile after that first episode in the hospital, but after meeting her out in public, she seemed to be an okay person, but fired up when she was stressed out. He would hope not to ever make her like that again, or see her like that actually. Colton took another drink of his coffee and he set the half empty cup down on the table. He clasped his hands in front of him on the table and his dark eyes stared into her bright blue ones. They had to be the most interesting color he had yet to see. Then again, he was around mostly normal people growing up, never truly seeing things, and now he was. Wow, this girl had an impact on him. Colton shook his head a bit and he wondered what exactly was going on. Colton wondered if this would be like to socialize. Seeing things differently. Maybe it was, and he was starting to like it a little bit. But he needed one step at a time.

"If you get too hyper from caffeine, then I would advise staying away from coffee," warned Colton. He remembered how some people are on coffee, and they were bouncing off of the walls. It was crazy, but Colton had a good balance and control. He never really got hyper over anything. He was just calm most of the time. Colton thought for a moment, on why he needed to be focused. Well, he thought of a good answer and it would not be lying at all, something he heavily did not believe in. "Um, would you prefer me spacing out and not listening to you? I need to focus on what I am doing today. Plus, if it has a crash later, I will sleep well and wake up early in the morning for work." Colton smiled softly, and took another drink of his delicious coffee, fueling his cells for another hour or so. This would be good for him, as it always has been. Coffee was something that had yet to truly let him down. It was stable and it was something that could barely go wrong unless it was brewed badly.

He raised an eyebrow at the thing about Veelas. He had never come across one, not that he could recall. Colton mused, "Did not know boys could be part-Veelas. Are you a Veela by any chance? I have never met one or seen one so I don't know." He wondered if males could seduce females when it came to having that blood. Not that Colton minded. He was not in any way prejudice. He really did not care about blood status. He was what he was, and that was it. No supremacy or anything. Yet, he was a pure-blood Slytherin, how ironic was that? The waiter dropped off their food and left once more. Colton glanced down at his plate and he picked up a fry with his fingers, and popped it into his mouth. One thing about him was that he ate in small quantities to avoid stomach pains later on. After swallowing his fry, he glanced up at Gabrielle once more. "No problem. Did your dad kick you out for wanting to be a Healer?" That would be a little hard to understand, at least for him.

Gabrielle froze and turned her head to look at Colton curiously when he shook his head at something. This had to be one of the very few times that she had wished that she had taken it upon herself to study the art of Legilimency back when she was in school and had the chance to do so. She was offered to learn but had given up the chance. For some reason Gabrielle just didn't find it to be something she wanted to spend her time learning. She knew for a fact that her mother was rather skilled in the art of Occlumency and that her Step-father was someone who knew Legilimency as well. Gabrielle wouldn't have wanted it for power like they used it for, she just wanted to know what Colton was thinking about right now. Was he having a good time or would he rather just get up and run in the other direction? Did he sort of like her or were the idea of feelings completely out of the question here? 'I don't even know why I'm bothering to care so much. I'm not supposed to get attached anyways.' She thought to herself when she remembered the promise she made to herself and to her mother. Well she didn't exactly promise it directly to her mother's face but she always imagined it being something her mother wouldn't oppose against. And that was to protect her heart at all costs. So maybe she should just worry about keeping herself guarded instead of worrying about what Colton was thinking about right now. After a moment Gabrielle decided to shake off her thoughts, this was one date. It wasn't like they were being set up for life or anything.

"I don't think caffeine gets me hyper. Actually I don't think I've ever been hyper. And I've guessed you made your point but I wouldn't really mind whether you listened to me or not. sometimes it's nice just to have someone around y'know?" Gabrielle had never pictures herself as chatty or as one of those hyperactive dimwits that she saw around sometimes. In fact this was probably the most she had spoken to anyone that wasn't her mother. Even her siblings had yet to hear her speak this much to them, and a few of them she was really close with a few of them. Maybe Colton was just that easy to talk to or something she wasn't really sure why she was talking so much. It almost made her feel like an idiot now that she thought about it. Gabrielle watched Colton take another drink of his coffee. She wondered if Coffee was really that healthy if it gave you energy like so, then again Colton seemed to run perfectly fine. He was probably one of those absolute stiffs in the morning like she was, most people get a word from her int he morning until she was fully awake. When the food arrived Gabrielle immediately started on taking a few bites of her salad. Her brother called anything with vegetables in it rabbit food, but she really liked veggies. Thankfully enough she wasn't a vegetarian like her sister Alyssa was, even the smell of meat sometimes made that girl sick.

When she heard Colton question her about Veela's she set down her fork and blinked at him owlishly. She was surprised that he knew so little about them. Then again the only reason she probably knew about them at all was because she had grown up with people who had Veela blood in them. "Males can definitely be part Veela. They just can't charm and stuff like the females can. But no I'm definitely not Veela. I'm a pure-blood actually...not that I'm prejudice or anything. You can definitely tell when someone is a Veela though. They are extremely beautiful and often have the ability to draw you in..." Gabrielle tried to explain to him exactly how Veela's were and how he should easily be able to tell that she was not a Veela. All she could really describe was how Veela's were very beautiful and they easily drew people in. It was easy to lose your mind around one, especially one who was able to control the charm easily. He would probably never know exactly what she meant until he had met one himself. Hopefully he would not have any issues with her being a pure blood either. Unlike her parents she wasn't prejudice but sometimes people were prejudice against her, which was a little weird. Gabrielle took another dainty bite of her salad when she heard Colton ask her about being kicked out because she wanted to be a Healer. A small sigh escaped her lips before she rubbed her cheek sorely. "Well yeah thats one of the reasons he kicked me out but..there were others too. Well I told him I was going to become one he just yelled...a lot." Gabrielle rolled her eyes softly when she answered this just because she remembered how upset he was. She could have added in that Alphonse had made her cry but would feel a bit embarrassed. She didn't want Colton to think she was some weak crybaby. She needed to appear strong.

Colton was still a little shocked that Gabrielle had not ever heard of coffee. Colton finished his coffee, and he glanced up at a waiter that immediately inquired, "Would you two like some of our Long Island Iced Tea? It is specially mixed tonight, and it is a special for this evening." Colton thought for a moment, and he answered the waiter, "Sure. I am out of coffee anyway. And get this lovely girl a glass too." He did not even catch that the drink would be even slightly alcoholic. The waiter rushed off and Colton glanced back at Gabrielle. He then started to wonder how her eyes got that shade of blue. It was rather unique. They were like sparkling sky gems, but he would never say that out loud. He wondered how they were so abnormal. They were not so common. Were they supposed to be like that? This was wondering through his mind. Was her genes mutated to make her eyes look like that? Magically enhanced? They were too beautiful to really think about. Colton could not help but adore staring into them. They were magnificent. Colton could not say this out loud though. That would be a little forward and disrespectful in his opinion. Colton was far too cautious for his own well being. Colton was rather cautious ever since Kalina. She had caused him a lot of pain in his life after he was into being sweet and generous with the compliments. He had stopped ever since they had ended their closeness. Colton never allowed that to happen again with anyone. Never let anyone close to him. Colton wondered if he would ever let someone around him again.

The waiter brought out the tall glasses of what Colton thought was just a fancy name for tea. The moment the caramel colored liquid touched his lips, he thought that it tasted rather strong. He almost choked but he managed to regain his cool. "I don't think I have ever been hyper either," Colton paused, "I might get a little excited but it is hard to tell unless you listen to my heart rate." Colton took another sip of the iced tea that had tequila mixed in it. Yet, he did not know that there was an alcohol mixed into the drink at all. He took another drink of it and thought that he would be having another glass of it later. He glanced up at Gabrielle and he thought that she was rather beautiful. Not her appearance, because he saw past that. He could talk to her, and he could actually communicate with her like he had with his former best friend from fews ago. This made him weary as well. What if she turned out like that? Well, something like that could only happen once in his life, right? He had not spoken to many people since that after he retreated into a shell of a healer's being, making studies revolve around his life, and slaving himself to work. He worked many hours, because he had nothing to come home to besides more studies. He did not have much of a life, and he did not live for himself, but for others while he was in the healing business. He talked to his patients, but he never shared anything with his life to them. He spoke to them about their own, how they could prevent something bad from happening again and how to prepare for a new arrival if they were pregnant and came to him for pregnancy questions and examinations.

Taking a fork into his hand, he cut off a piece of chicken and he ate it. It was very good to him, tasty and healthy. He was not a health freak, but he did take a lot into consideration. Though he did like his cauldron cake from occasion. He continued to cut the chicken into pieces, small pieces and he continued to enjoy the chicken. Colton glanced at her and he smiled lightly. He swallowed his food and he replied to her sayings, "I guess you learn something new everyday. Interesting that they cannot charm like females can. You don't seem like the prejudice type, and for that I am rather thankful. Next time I feel like someone is drawing me in, and look extremely beautiful, I will think they are a Veela." Though that was almost happening now with her. Her words, her personality was drawing him in. Though would he let her inside and know how he felt, how he lived life? That could be possible if he learned to trust and not be a lost wonderer with no other calling to him except being a healer and helping others with their lives rather than helping his own life. He had let his life suffer from not letting anyone in to really talk to, no one to really laugh with and all that. But Veelas though, they were an interesting topic. He would love to meet one, and meet a spawn of one that was formed with a Veela and a wizard or witch. It seemed like an interesting thing, and someone interesting to meet nonetheless. He did not mind pure-bloods. He did not really care for his own blood type actually. As long as they were not so annoying and all, and trying to shove their views onto him, he did not mind them. After eating most of his chicken, he started on the fries and drinking that tea. He started to notice a slight chance in his body, but that was it. It was too mild to really tell. Colton shook his head, "I don't see anything wrong with wanting to become one, but he might have. I just want you to think what you want, as you are now on your own. You just think for yourself and do what you think is right. Maybe your dad isn't in the right state of mind..." Colton shrugged lightly as he continued to eat his fries and drink his tea.

Gabrielle had busied herself trying to think about what that Coffee that Colton seemed so fond of tasted like. If he drank it like it was a religion or something it couldn't be that bad tasting right? But she didn't have long to think about the taste and smell of it before a waiter came up and offered the two of them something called Long Island Iced Tea. Never before had Gabrielle heard of this guy of tea. But if it was being offered as special tonight then it had to be at least somewhat good. Luckily Colton ordered some for the both of them, unfortunately neither of them knew it was a alcoholic beverage either. After a moment it suddenly hit her exactly what Colton said to the waiter when he asked the man to bring them drinks. He had called her a lovely girl. And it seemed like he barely noticed that he had called her one either. A light rose red color tinted her cheeks as she tried to cover up the fact that what he said about her had caught her off guard highly. It wasn't that she didn't enjoy a compliment or two, it was just that she wasn't that used to them. Especially from good looking guys that were interested in her for anything other than getting into her pants. It made her almost see Colton in a different light. Sure he may have been a workaholic to some degree as well as someone who probably secretly thought she was nothing but a soul sucking harpie, but it almost seemed like he actually thought of her as a decent person. When Gabrielle pulled herself out of her thoughts she saw Colton looking at her. He looked like he was deep in thought or something. He looked almost as if he were staring into her eyes but she glanced around her to make sure. "What are you looking at?" She asked curiously and softly before she watched as the waiter from them their Long Island Iced Tea that Colton had ordered for them. It looked like tea for the most part so she figured it wouldn't be harmful to drink. As her attention went to the tea she completely lost focus in Colton for a moment.

After a moment of peering closely at the caramel colored liquid, Gabrielle grabbed a hold of the glass and carefully lifted it up to her lips to take a dainty sip of it. At first she had to admit it was a little strong and different tasting then most kind of tea she had tried whenever she had some. "This tea is a little weird..but a I like it. I suppose it's also a good thing that you don't get really hyper because that means you can pig out on junk food and not worry about getting too hyped up or gaining a lot of weight." She muttered carefully before she lifted the glass and took another strong sip of it. The more she drank of it the more she wanted to slide down her throat. Since when had tea ever become really this addictive? By the time she had finished the glass halfway she started to feel a little on edge but at the same time really good, this drink actually made her feel good. It wasn't often she was feeling genuinely happy about her life. When she really thought about it carefully she noticed that she had many good things but also many bad things. Probably the worst so far was how closed up her heart seemed to be. Gabrielle wanted to reach out and find someone to warm that heart for her. But thens he always stopped and thought of the trouble she would be saving herself by just stopping right there. Gabrielle turned her beautiful and bright blue orbs onto Colton as she took a bite of her food and another drink of that tea. She wanted to know him. What his life was like when he got home, why he always studied alone like so. Had he ever fallen in love with some girl before? Where there anything in the world that he had an actual fondness for? All that sort of stuff was just floating through her brain.

A pretty smile lit up Gabrielle's face before she dug into her good again. This date was really nice so she was glad that she had considered to come despite their rough start. After one last bite she used the napkin on her side of the table to dab at her face and make sure her face was clean before she decided to tell him softly; "Um hey Colton..thanks for taking me out tonight. I'm having a really good time with you..well..out in general but you get the idea. I feel really bad for getting upset with you at the Hospital now. " She blushed again before she set her fork down and went to drink more of that tea. The more she drank the weirder she was beginning to feel. Almost curiously she wondered if he noticed it too as he drank his tea. Wherever Long Island was they had some awesome tea! Colton spoke again and Gabrielle listened to him, the pretty smile was still on her face throughout the entire time he spoke to her. Suddenly she found his voice really attractive too. What the hell was up with this tea? Gabrielle finished the last of her salad before she decided to answer Colton again. "I'm not prejudice at all, but one thing I would like to do is keep the bloodline pure if I ever have children. It's nothing personal but...it's just one of those things I feel like I should do. But other than that I'm really open minded and if by chance I fall in love with someone who won't help me keep that bloodline..oh well. You can't really control who you fall for." Gabrielle almost felt like she had made a huge mistake but telling Colton something very personal about her own dreams and goals for the future. She wasn't prejudice but she didn't want to let the bloodline that her family had kept pure for awhile to die out with just her. But if she fell in love with even a muggle someday she would be with him. She thought that overall love was more important than blood. One more drink was taken and this time Gabrielle moved her head slowly. She was feeling so weird right now.

This tea was fabulous! It was giving him some energy, and before Colton knew it, he had drunk the tall glass empty. The waiter came by, and Colton ordered another round of the tea for the two of them, unaware of the effect that was going on with him right now. He just thought that the tea had extra caffeine and was not put in a lot of water while brewing. That was why he thought it tasted so strong, because of that. However, that was untrue, poor Colton just did not know it. He continued to drink the second glass like it were water. It tasted good to him, but it was the effect that it was causing on his head to make him feel a little uncomfortable. He stopped drinking the tea for a moment, and he continued eating his chicken and fries. He was almost done with the plate and soon they could head home. It would not be long until he was too sick to really even think. Whatever was in this tea was causing him to think and think less. Though he found himself staring at Gabrielle once more, and this time, she questioned him about it. Colton was speechless and his blushed lightly. She noticed him staring, and he wondered what type of person she must think he was. He just stared a lot at people, not really realizing it. The fact that he was observing her eyes was something that was a little embarrassing when caught doing that. Colton bit his lip momentarily as his mind mused over his own answer to her. That would be hard to think of really. Colton did not know how to answer her, and if he tried now, he might choke on words or something. That would be even more embarrassing. Colton took another drink of his tea, and he could feel the caramel liquid help him 'focus' a little more on what he was going to say to her. Hey, this stuff worked like coffee, so he thought. He could always answer her in his native tongue and she would never understand what he was saying. She was not Slovakian, was she? Because he did not know the answer to that, Colton chose to use English, and now, his Slovakian accent was flowing through his words, lacing around them, "I was not looking at anything normal, that is for certain." It was not a straight answer, but Colton thought that it would do just nicely. Gabrielle was anything but normal looking, and she was getting more and more beautiful with each drink of tea. What the hell was in this stuff?

Long Island ice tea, whatever it was, it was helping with his words to her and helping him loosen up a little. He found himself smiling a little more, though the smile was subtle, it was still there instead of his natural bored look he carried around all the time. He looked a little more relaxed, and it was something Colton really needed. At least the tone he used with Gabrielle was careful, and was not meant to be negative in any fashion or manner. He did not want anything negative to be accidentally said because of his lack of wanting to give out something that he did just out of habit and all. Colton continued to eat his fries and finished off the last bit of his chicken. His fries was the last part of his meal that was left. He was about ready to leave to go home. This date was leaving him a bit...light-headed. He did not know what it meant, though it was probably the tequila in his tea that he did not know of. He was a light weight, so to speak. He had no tolerance, and after one glass, he was more than tipsy, and by the time he will have drunk two glasses, he will be drunk. Colton replied, "I love this tea. Whoever makes it does a good job at making...it. As for junk food, I don't mind it, but it is not something I do often. I don't gain weight, but I have trouble keeping it on. Odd huh." Colton drained the rest of the glass of tea and he blinked a few times. Boy, it was strong, strong enough to bring some moisture to his brown eyes. Blinking several times, he focused or tried to focus on Gabrielle. She seemed rather interesting. He wanted to get to know her more. She wanted to be a healer. She was interesting just to top it all off. She was unexplainable. He was just attracted to her. Colton may even have some interest in her, more than someone that was just learning from him. Colton just needed to learn to reach out, and get out of his shell, and this tea was helping him accomplish just that. However, what would happen when he was not drinking the tea? Would he go back to his normal, closed up and working self?

When Gabrielle thanked him, he smiled gratefully. He had done something well, something that he was nervous about doing in the first place. Though now, he was not nervous about anything at all. He was just relaxed and the tension had worn off. Though he did not get another glass of tea. Wiping his mouth off with a napkin, Colton replied softly, "You are welcome. I am glad to have taken you out. But I understand why you were upset at the hospital. That guy screwed you over, and that just, it is just upsetting. If I saw him, I'd make sure he would never get sexual pleasure again after he did that to you." Colton motioned for a waiter to come by and he paid for the meal, for the both of them. He nodded at her beliefs. They were true, and he could relate to her. Though he did not really care about the pure-bloods or the muggles mixing. He did not really care about the difference. Colton did know that she was right. One could not help who they fell for. He believed that, but he also thought that he would never fall for someone who have someone fall in love with him. "Your beliefs are understandable. I am uncaring about all that though. Well, when it comes to blood status. About the love though, I believe the same. You cannot help who you fall for." Colton slowly stood up before he had a little trouble standing. He shook his head slowly and he regained a good hold of his balance. Colton glanced over at Gabrielle, and with the tea working in his system, he inquired, "Want to go back to my house? We can talk and all there, but I don't fell so well..." He laughed softly. There was really no reason for her to come home with him, but he did not see the harm in it.

Gabrielle paled for a moment as she looked Colton blush then remain silent for awhile. Hopefully what she asked him didn't bother him or something, maybe he wasn't even staring at her to begin with and was a little upset that she had called him out like that. He seemed still surprised even after a moment but soon began to speak to her. His accent was beautiful but she wasn't quite sure where it was from. "Colton your accent is amazing! Where are you from..oh sorry. That was kind of rude." That Long Island Iced Tea that she was starting on a second glass of was making her be a lot more open and bold with Colton. Usually she was a lot more shy and kept when she was around someone she had just met like Colton. But with the influence of alcohol and the evergrowing attraction between her and Colton forming stronger and stronger she didn't see much of a reason to be shy around him anymore. With a another quick sip of her drink she felt a shudder run up her spine. Being a lightweight and drinking this much Long Island Iced Teas was definitely going to make her suffer later. However she hadn't drunken enough to consider herself fully drunk, more along the lines of buzzed. His other words sunk in fully and she gave him almost a hurt look but at the same looked more confused then anything. That was one way to tell someone that someone that they looked ugly. At least he did it in a way that would not make her want to smack him for being so rude, then again normally she just ignored comments like that. A gentle hand went up to feel her cheek before she turned to look At Colton again. "You think I look funny?" She asked calmly. Not at all sounding mad or upset about this. She had heard comments from guys calling her ugly all the time so in a way she was almost used to it at times. She still had a nice time tonight. It gave her something to do and for her to actually go out and meet someone. She couldn't wait until he started to teach her more healing. Hopefully he was a good teacher because Gabrielle was definitely one of those hands on kind of girl, she would be a bit hard to teach at first. As Colton finished up the last of his food Gabrielle glanced down at hers and noticed that she still had a little more than half left. Since she had a small stomach it was expected that her appetite would die quickly. The Iced Tea wasn't helping either because she was pretty sure she could feel it bubbling inside her tummy right now, It was either that or the nerves. Her glasses of Tea was finished and although she knew something was up she definitely was feeling a little weird. Colton must have felt the same way because he was smiling a lot more too.

After a little bit of time had gone by Colton spoke again when she responded about her thanking him for taking her out and that she was sorry for getting upset at him when she was at the Hospital. "Thats really sweet. But..I wouldn't want you to get into any trouble on my account. Besides I don't think I'll see him around again. As long as he doesn't know where my house is at least." Gabrielle turned a shade of red. Colton sounded so protective and like a gentlemen that it made her heart pitter like she had run a three mile race or something. Gabrielle ended up losing focus until she watched Colton stand up from his seat after paying for waiter for their food. She would have to pay him back later, somehow. The blonde carefully stood up before she smoothed out her dress gently and smiled softly as Colton. He seemed like he had trouble standing so Gabrielle became worried over. She walked over to his side so she could prevent him from falling down or anything. When he asked if she wanted to go to his house she bit her lip gently. She figured that Colton and her never would have become close enough for him to invite her over, she actually almost felt that it was wrong but she felt worried for him and didn't want their night to end just soon. "Sure I'd love to come over and talk more. Plus I'm a little worried about you getting home on your own and everything..you don't even look well." Gabrielle actually let her French accent slide by this time instead of hiding it like she usually tried to when she wanted to be understood more easily. But Gabrielle was so nervous and worried over Colton that it didn't matter anymore. They were going to his house and hopefully he was going to lay down and rest a Little. He needed to let out his built up stress too because it showed she was going to make this boy relax one way or another.

Colton once more flushed the color of apples and roses that meant and declared love as Gabrielle complimented on his accent. He knew where he was from, and his heritage, yet he was raised in Slovakia. He was half Italian and half Russian and knew neither language. He only knew Slovakian. Colton could speak better in his native tongue than in English, and his accent was mostly hidden because of how exotic it was around some parts of the world. Colton grinned lightly and easily thanks to that tequila going through his system, “Um, Svidnik, Slovakia. I was raised there after I was adopted. However, my heritage is a split between Italian and Russian. I do not speak Russian or Italian.” Colton was telling the truth there, and he did not really wish to think upon his town growing up. He grew up in a split between the magical and muggle world, which was completely fine with him. Svidnik had a small town that was hidden from the muggles that was completely for the magical people. Though what she said about his own comment made him want to smack himself upside the head with a baseball bat. Oh, he did not mean it like that, and he did not think of any other way it could be taken as. It frustrated him that he did not say things the same way as he thought them. When he thought them, only person he needed to understand was himself. Now, he needed to take Gabrielle’s mind into factor with things he says from now on. But with his mind being fuzzed, things were harder than they appeared. Colton shook his head and he murmured, “No, just the opposite. I find you very beautiful. Gabrielle, I also don’t look at aesthetics. I look at the personality and the heart. You are a very beautiful person. Though when I look at you, even on the outside, you are gorgeous. I guess maybe not everyone sees things like I do.” Colton smiled lightly once more, to reassure his words to her and to make sure that he did not mess up…again. He was not known for being drunk and letting his mind wonder free like a plastic bag in the wind. Colton moved his dark hair from his eyes and he continued to think. Colton chuckled, “To be honest, I don’t know if I have the heart to even harm an animal, let alone a human. But if he bothers you, I can always picture him like a dummy to practice spells with in school.” Colton did not know what he would do if he did meet someone like that, someone that harmed Gabrielle so much and used her for just sexual pleasure.

Colton was definitely not like that, and he had not had sexual pleasure in such a long time, he had forgotten how good it felt to him. Then again, all it did last time was bring heartache so he was not willing to risk it. Well, he was not going to risk it with anyone; not until he was ready and not until he was attracted to a girl more than emotionally. He needed to learn. Unlike a lot of sleazy guys, Colton was not expecting anything in return after an expensive meal. Colton had asked her to join him, not to exchange a meal for something in the end. He did not want to force her to do anything that she did not want to do. Colton was easygoing like that. Colton glanced over at Gabrielle and he smiled a little more when Gabrielle agreed to come to his home. That was something that he would love to happen. Her to come into his environment as it would help him open up a little more. Colton knew that he needed to rest his head a bit, because he was not feeling well even though he had a lot of energy. Though he just could barely keep both feet on the ground. Colton gently touched Gabrielle’s shoulder, and with concentration, he apparated the two of them to his house. He went to open the front door, and his hand twisted the handle, before the door opened. The house was dark, but when the door opened, the candles and lanterns in the house were lit and the house was filled with a cozy warmth. Though Colton was about to step in and turned to smile at Gabrielle, welcoming her to his little house that was away from everyone, when he tripped and fell. His body turned in the air and he landed on his back. “Oh, Merlin’s beard, I don’t know what’s going on with me. But um, welcome to my house?” Colton laughed softly, and he shook his head. How in the world did he forget that there was a step from the porch to the inside of the house? This was beyond embarrassing. What in the world was going on? Colton felt like he was simply in heaven right now. But he did not know how long it would last, and how it would affect him the next morning.

Gabrielle thought it was so cool that he was from such an exotic country. Never had she been or met a person from Slovakia before since she heard it was actually quite dangerous for pretty and young girls like herself to be traveling in. Whens he looked at Colton she didn't get a sense of dangerous at all. Actually she thought that he was pretty cute and gentle like every girl wished that they could get their hands on. "Thats so cool. You should teach me some Slovak some time! I'm from France, so I only speak English and French..nothing that special." She shrugged her thin shoulders before she flattened her dress out a little to make sure that it had risen up indecently or anything like that. They did say that Paris was also know as the city of love and thats where she had been raise a lot of her life in both the infamous cities Paris and Marseilles. But there was nothing really that lovely or romantic about Gabrielle other than the fact that she was beautiful and fit the qualities that move guys would consider having on the perfect girl. It just showed how much they really knew about a pretty girl. Gabrielle's mouth dropped at his next set of words that he said to her. It was sort of the last thing she expected him to say but at the same didn't really find it that bad of a thing to say. Really this boy was making it a lot harder and harder for her not to be interested in him. He was technically her teacher right now so she shouldn't really go all school girl and gooey eyed around him right now. Even if they were on a date she would try to keep it in her head that they needed to remain as friends of this teaching thing was ever going to work. "No one's ever said that to me before." She bit her lip as she tried to hide her grin again. She had smiled a lot tonight and her cheeks were starting to become sore. It was people like him that reminded Gabrielle that she was indeed human and she did indeed have a heart and a purpose on this planet. He was one of those rare guys and for a moment she almost wished she had known there was people like him out in the world. It may have given her the strength to go out and actually try to be more of a human and less of useless shell. Before she could say anything else she felt Colton gently touch her shoulder and Apparate them off to what she assumed was his house. Her first thought to actually seeing where he lived was that it was very fitting for him. It was also a really cute looking little house. the more she learned about this guy the more she felt herself really wishing she had met him on different and better cirumstances. His future wife was going to be a lucky one once he broke from his shell and actually fell in love. Gabrielle watched Colton carefully with her blue eyes as he opened the door to his home and started to walk in. She was about to follow after until she watched him either trip or stumble before he fell to the floor.

Giggles immediately erupted from Gabrielle's mouth despite her attempt to cover her mouth up. That was just such a hilarious scene to her plus the fact that Colton was just a straight up cutie pie. She stepped over to him as she continued to giggle like a little girl or something. Gabrielle felt sort of bad so she wanted to him up and make sure he was okay and everything. After all he did treat her to such a lovely evening tonight. In fact she sort of wanted to repay him back somehow, maybe he would like to go out another time or something. Then again it was sort of an excuse not to see each other as just friends again, she just needed a good time to ask him. "Teehee, sorry. Let me help you up." Gabrielle bent down a little to offer Colton a hand of hers to try and help him up. But once she had gotten to a certain point it had become a little hard to crouch down in heels and attempt to pull Colton up. It wasn't that he was really heavy or anything, she was just really teeny and lightweight herself. The steps to his home were a little slippery as well so that did not help, plus She was not meant for heavy lifting. This caused her to stumble a little until she fell forward and right on top of Colton, well it kind of looked like she was laying but that wasn't her intention at all. she blamed her heels and the steps being slippery. Gabrielle bit her lip again and apologized softly when she noticed how close they were as well as how close their faces were.

Pretty much she was laying on top of him in the most provocative position possible. Even the elegant dress she had bought for the date looked like it had been rustled around. They pretty much looked like they had been fooling around. And right now the feelings that Gabrielle was feeling due to having attraction to Colton, the Alcohol, and the fact that she thought he looked too adorable to pass up it didn't bother he being so close to him right now. Gabrielle wanted to be closer to him. She had come to terms that she sort of liked Colton a little, but of course he would never know of that. But it couldn't stop a girl from having fun right? With a small breath of air, Gabrielle's fingers trailed up to Colton's face slowly before she lowered her face closer to his so she could mesh their lips together in a passionate and almost sloppy kiss. She only hoped that maybe Colton would return it because her hands were already making there way across his chest.

Colton needed to keep in his mind that one day, with her healing training, he could teach her some Slovakian at one point, even though it would be completely irrelevant. Colton also noted that she was French. Though all these thoughts were shoved aside when he heard her giggle about him falling. He sat up a little bit and his hand that was not supporting his body held his head. Though it was still a little odd for him to think that Gabrielle in her small form would even try to help him on his feet. Colton did not know what to think, not with this alcohol running through his veins and nourishing his decisions with a nice haze to keep him in a pleasant and almost happy mood. Colton did not know that what would happen next would be rather inappropriate at all. Colton’s brown eyes widened when he saw Gabrielle come tumbling down, right on top of him. The door was open, and if the house was in the city, parents would be covering their children’s’ eyes with their hands. Colton did not think she was heavy at all considering the amount of work and work outs he did on the job. Surely enough, he was not the most built guy in the world, but he had muscles and little body fat. Colton sat up a little bit, and he could see just how close their faces were. He was still speechless after all. Things just turned out a little weirder than he envisioned.

This was provocative, almost too much for the male. Colton may be a gentleman, but he was a male as well. He had this gorgeous girl on top of him, their legs tangled, and he was staring at her without a smile, but more of a shocked look on his face. He noticed that his hand was on her curve, and he blinked. What was going on? Colton didn’t know the answer to it, but then, Gabrielle made the move. Her fingers touched his skin on his face, and he then felt a kiss that was unlike anything he had ever experienced. It was hot, like the fires of hell. Colton smiled lightly as he completely and fully returned the kiss with equal passion if not more. He could take her here and now, on the hardwood floor. Though that would leave marks upon either of them depending on where they were on the floor, or which one was rather. Colton was completely acting out of instinct and bodily urges as well as the alcohol blocking his better judgment. Though he had to admit, he was attracted to her, and perhaps even liked her as someone more than a friend. He could open up to her, and talk to her. Wonder if he could do this all without the assistance of long island ice tea? Perhaps, perhaps not. He did not know at all.

Though what Colton did know was that he wanted much more of Gabrielle. He wanted her closer to him, he wanted to feel all of her flesh. For someone that had not enjoyed or even remembered what sexual intercourse felt like, Colton was craving it, starving for it. Her hands traveled his chest, and his hands traveled up her thighs and under her dress so he could feel her hips. He somehow knew just what to do, and also figured where they would end up. With adrenaline pumping, he lifted the two of them up and moved to his bedroom. How he did it without breaking the kiss was beyond him. Though from the change of rooms, Colton managed to switch their positions. The comforter was made of silk and light cotton between the silk sheets. Pillows were not abundant but he had two. He doubted that they would be needed right now anyway. Colton continued to kiss her passionately, though he took a small break from her lips and his lightly kissed her neck. However, he did have some sense left in him, and Colton whispered, his breath hot against her neck, “Are you sure you want this, Gabrielle?” At least he knew her name and who he was going to be…doing this to. Apparently, they had a lot more in common and chemistry with each other than he bargained for. The healer was definitely not complaining though.

Gabrielle didn't expect for Colton to react like this. Originally she had thought that her falling on top of him and kissing him would be out of line and he would get upset for her being so forward with him. Instead he fully returned the kiss with equal passion that made her heart lip and the feeling of desire take over her body. A mixture between a gasp and a soft moan left her lips when she felt Colton's hands go from her thighs to her hips. Her hands were going to go up to lift his shirt so she could run her fingers over his chest more easily but instead she became surprised when Colton managed to pick the two of them up and carry them further inside his cute little house. She had no idea where he was taking her but she was really into the kiss at the moment so she didn't really care where he took her, as long as he didn't this thing between them so suddenly. It wasn't until Gabrielle felt herself on a soft surface that she finally had an idea on where she was and what was going to happen if she didn't have Colton stop here. His bed was soft and comfortable enough to lay on, even with Colton hovering over her. They still continued to kiss passionately and Gabrielle knew that the longer they kissed the more she wanted him, the more she needed him. Her hands traveled down to his lower back before her fingers gently grazed some of the skin on his back. Eventually Colton ended the kiss to lightly kiss her neck and Gabrielle left another soft moan escaped her lips as she shifted her legs a little to make herself a little bit more comfortable. He asked her if she was sure she wanted this as his hot breath warmed her neck. Gabrielle breathed heavily for a moment as she weighed the thoughts about what they could possibly be doing flew through her mind. The entire time she lied there and thought her hands continued to gently massage Colton's clothed back. After a moment Gabrielle made her decision and spoke softly. "Colton, I am sure I want this. I want you to make love to me...." Gabrielle whispered in Colton's ear softly. She knew it was bold and that in the morning things would probably be slightly awkward in the morning but she didn't mind. She wanted Colton to be hers for just tonight if that was possible. The alcohol made her more bold and more wanting of this. Colton was fixing that hole in her heart caused by the guy who used her. He had asked her if she wanted this, and thats what made him a better man. The date had gone amazingly and this would just better the night. Gabrielle had never done anything like this purely out of her own free will and desire.

Without words or much movement at all, Gabrielle moved her neck a little to kiss Colton softly again. At first it was very gentle and angelic but then she deepened it a little before her hands went to tug on his shirt and start to pull it up and off of him before she let it drop to the floor and her hands returned to run over his smooth skin. Her lips went to work as she left a trail of kisses from Colton's Collar bone to his neck where she kissed it gently a few times and gave a gentle bite as well. She felt overdressed but she was still giving him time to back out if he wanted. Gabrielle didn't want to force him into something that may cause him to go back into his shell one again."This is your last chance to back out." Gabrielle whispered back into his ear before she kissed him again. By this point Gabrielle had managed to kick off her heels and listened as they made a thud onto the floor and the candlelight in the room bring forth a romantic atmosphere. She lowered her face to kiss his shoulder once softly and her hands trailed down his uncovered chest as she waited for an action, or a command for her to stop this. If not she was going to remain here tonight and he was going to be hers.

The moment Gabrielle had taken his shirt off, Colton knew that there was no way possible that he would stop this, this lustful madness that seemed like it was heating up the room but it was only his body, and it was hard for him to even feel. His mind was focused on one thing and that was getting Gabrielle undressed so that he could become one with her, and make passionate love to her. Colton was a gentle being though under the effects of that tequila, that was a different story. A soft moan escaped his lips as she gave him a gentle bite on his neck. This was what it was like to get into the moment, before really sinking into it. Colton never had this before, and he was doing it all by instant. A man's instinct should never be tampered with or underestimated. It seemed like they all had it programmed in their systems to know how to make love. Her words confirmed that she wanted this, and he heard her shoes hit the floor. Using his own feet and then toes, he managed to tug off his own shoes and socks. Though he was taking off his clothing much too slow for his own enjoyment. He wanted them all off, now. And he wanted to take off her clothing, those garments getting more and more bothersome as he tried to think about what he wanted, but it was inevitable. He wanted her. He wanted her for the night, and she wanted him. The desire was there, and he was not forcing her into anything, so if she wanted this, Colton would satisfy her.

Colton murmured, "I do not want to back out. I want you, need you right now." Colton leaned from her so he could see her face, her expression, though his two hands worked at her dress, and within a short moment's time, he had removed it. Colton tossed it to the floor, and leaned back down to capture her lips with his own once more in a passionate and mouthwatering kiss that spoke more than words ever could. The taste of Gabrielle sang to his taste buds, and Colton wondered if she could feel his tongue ring. He had had it done for quite some time, and knew how to put a ring in and out of it without his hands, though he needed his hand to screw the ball onto the tip. Colton had some experience with his tongue, and Gabrielle may just enjoy it. With his pants sliding off of his body, he hugged up to Gabrielle, his hands continuing to caress her, adore and feel every curve. It was not something he was used to, but he was gentle, massaging. As a healer, he knew right where to massage and where it was most sensitive and pleasurable. It was almost embarrassing for someone to know all of this, but Colton did not care. He was massaging her, getting her ready before the final act of giving it all to her. They wanted it, alas, they would receive it. He whispered her name, and the night would cease to be silent as two beautiful beings became one.

Time so obviously passes...

A pile of clothing rested on the floor, abandoned as the two carried on with their business. They would not need their clothing until the morning, that is if they slept at all that night. However, the tequila had finished off Colton within the hour and a quarter, as he finished with the final act, and moved over on the bed to his side. However, Colton was entirely exhausted. "Am...azing..." Coltom managed to whisper before he cuddled against the blonde woman, and fell into a deep sleep. The morning would bring on a surprise for the two of them. Alcohol was not going to be present all the time, and Colton had work in the morning. He was not going to have a hangover, but he was not completely sober when he done this either because he lacked in judgment because the last time he did this, the woman had changed. Though one thing was for sure, and that was Colton would be mighty sore once he woke up.

The night had had gone by far better than Gabrielle would have guessed it to when she first accepted Colton's invitation at the Diner not too long ago. Both of them had a wonderful meal, a night conversation, some amazing drink that sucked the common sense right out of you, and finally she ended up making love with the most wonderful guy she had met in a long time. It wasn't until about an hour or so later that the two of them had to end their night of passion due to running out of energy. As the final act finished and Gabrielle felt Colton move to his side of the bed she allowed herself to attempt and catch her breath for just a moment or two. She was sweaty and exhausted but very content with what has just transpired between the two of them, she had absolutely not regrets over this. Even if things did not last between them it was something beautiful. It made her feel much more like a woman than when she had been so hatefully tricked into giving up her innocence to someone who really only wanted her for pleasure. It didn't seem like Colton was after that. Especially after all those beautiful words he had whispered in her ear during their hours of passion. Her head turned to Colton when she heard him whisper 'amazing'. Her cheeks turned a light hue of red as she couldn't agree more but had no idea how she would possibly even begin to voice it without sounding like a dork. Not even a second passed and Gabrielle felt Colton cuddle up to her before he fell into a deep sleep, he looked so exhausted. The blonde cuddled up to him more closely before she brushed a strand of hair away from his face and placed a gentle kiss there and laid her head back down as she cuddled into Colton. For now she didn't even want to worry about how the morning would go for the two of them. She figured by then they would both have their Common Sense back and such. The man beside her did have work tomorrow so unfortunately they were going to have to actually wake up instead of sleep in and continue to cuddle.

Whatever tomorrow brought, Gabrielle could only hope that regret wouldn't be an option on Colton's eyes because it certainly wasn't going to be one in hers. A moment passed by before pulled the covers closer to her and Colton's unclothed bodies and Gabrielle closed her beautiful blue eyes to fall into a deep sleep and forget about the world.</COLOR></FONT>

Early in The Morning...
<COLOR color="black"><i></i><i></i>
<FONT font="Lucida">When the Early Morning Hours came along, Gabrielle was still fast asleep cuddled next to Colton. It was a little chilly for her in the room so he was pretty much the other thing other than the blanket keeping her warm at all thanks to the simple fact that she was still unclothed. Last night had taken a lot out of her and she probably neglected to think about the fact that her brother was supposed to come over last night after her date was over, she was too busy with Colton to even think about it. In fact the only thing that really ran through her mind until it was over was how amazing it felt to actually be with someone after so long of keeping herself away from others. When the sound of what she thought was birds sounded outside the beautiful blonde cracked a blue eye open to glance around the room tiredly before she stirred in Colton's arms. She was so tired right now that it barely seemed possible that her body was allowing her to wake up. Her silky hair had been removed from the updo she had it in last night and felt into her face as she shifted to the hide a bit of the sun from shining in her face. It finally hit her that last night she had made love with Colton Kovac, the man that was supposed to be teaching her healing skills and the man whom she had such a bad start with at the Hospital. Never would she have guessed that later she would end up in his bed having the most amazing time of her life. Gabrielle still didn't regret last night one bit. She would have done it again in a heartbeat and still not feel like a bad person because of it. However she was fearing Colton's reaction and the awkwardness that could follow all of this. Gabrielle would try to act as if nothing were awkward about it at all. Glancing out the window again she figured that sooner or later she would need to make sure he was awake for work.

But right now she just wanted to remain cuddled in his arms, feeling safe and warm for once in her life. Shifting her small body around a little she let out a small hiss of pain. Obviously the thought of how sore she would be in the morning had slipped her mind last night. Her and Colton weren't extremely rough with one another but still, her body was very sore and a pain to move at the moment. Closing her eyes softly and nuzzling her face into the crook of Colton's neck she tried to force herself to fall back asleep for just a little longer. Hopefully her moving around and hiss of pain did not wake him.

An alarm started to sound, though it was not an alarm clock, muggle or magical. Instead, this was a mental alarm, telling Colton that he needed to wake up to get ready for work. This was something that he had been doing for quite some time. Colton's conscious mind pulled from his dream, and he could feel the soreness in his body. He could also feel someone cuddled to him, as he was to her. This struck up some confusion. Colton did not open his eyes just yet. However, he started to remember the other night, last night. The date, the tea, and then the aftermath. His body was sore because of the blonde that lay right here in his arms. His eyes opened and he could see that mass of blonde hair, and within an instant, he sat up. Colton felt the covers slip off of his bare torso, and he glanced down to realize just what had happened. He had some lovely 'battle' wounds also. Colton murmured, "Oh no..." What if she became like the other woman? Colton started to panic and he rushed out of bed. He summoned a pair of boxers and put them on, as well as a black shirt and a pair of shorts so that he could walk around in his home. He needed to shower and get to work! He had less than an hour to get there. Colton rushed to his bathroom and he showered, the whole time while washing his sore body wondering what will become of him and Gabrielle now. She was supposed to be his trainee, and he slept with her after the first date. Colton never did that, and he wondered why he had. Ever since that tea...he would need to look it up.

He was dressed in his normal Healer clothing, and he went to the bedroom. He went to the side of her bed and sat down. He had very little time before he could make it to work. Colton said, "Okay, last night was amazing, but I don't know. We have to talk about this, as soon as I get home. So, can you wait here? I work six hours, and I have an indoor pool and all for you to enjoy. Just...please stay here." Colton was almost frantic. He was afraid that she would turn into a slut, to be honest, as it had been before. But the fact that she stuck around was good. That was a good sign. Colton rose from the bed, and he stood in the doorway as he waited for her response before he left to go help a lot of people that he had devoted himself to. He would continue to help out, as much as he could.

Gabrielle was about halfway back into dreamland when she suddenly Colton sit up and force their intimate cuddle session to come to an immediate end. A tired sigh escaped her lips the moment she heard him mutter the words oh no. She hoped that he wasn't upset about what had happened last night. She knew that he was a respectable man and such so maybe he was bothered by the fact that he had slept with his student and someone he just started to get to know. Gabrielle cracked her eyes opened as she watched as Colton panicked and rushed out of bed, hopefully he wasn't late or anything because she would feel horrible if he actually was because it might be her fault that he was so tired or something. He put some clothing on and apparently headed to go take a shower, which reminded Gabrielle that she probably needed one later or something. If her and Colton had been dating or something she would have suggested they take one together, but since they weren't she kept her mouth shut and instead smiled to herself as she cuddled back into the pillow and the comfort of the bed for just a few more minute's. In just a bit she would probably need to get dressed and try to her own head home because chances were that Colton didn't want her here lounging around all day and stuff. Last night had been a risk that she enjoyed beyond words worth describing to anyone. It was probably a one time thing and didn't mean much but she really enjoyed it so much more than she ever expected herself to. It was passionate, slightly romantic, a little rough but still gentle. There was just so much to describe it with and the last thing she wanted now was for Colton to see it as nothing but a mistake that he wanted to forget about. What would her family think about this? Not only had she moved out to become a Healer, she ended up sharing a night with some man that she had known for such a little amount of time. When she heard the shower stop running and someone exit the bathroom she opened her eyes and woke herself out of her dreaming state quickly. It wasn't until he went to the side of her bed and sat down that she turned to look at him tiredly before she sat up and wrapped the sheets around her for a moment. She saw her dress over on the floor and summoned it up to her. Once Colton had left for work and everything she would get dressed and go. Then he spoke and his words made Gabrielle's heart skip a beat. He thought last night was amazing but...but what? Gabrielle because nervous when he said he wanted to talk about it. She was unsure what there was to talk about but wouldn't deny him the request.

It wasn't until he asked her to wait at his house while he was at work that Gabrielle sensed that he was really serious about this. He told her his hours and told her that he had a pool and stuff to entertain while he was gone. He just really wanted her to stay here and she sensed how frantic he was so she gave him a pretty smile. "Okay. If you really want me to stay and talk with you when you get back I will wait here. I'm not exactly sure what on earth there is to talk about though. So..go..to work. I'll be fine!" She waved him off gently and waited for him to leave to go to the Hospital. Hopefully it'll be a place where she soon worked as well. Once she was sure he had left and was gone she scrambled out of bed and headed towards the shower quickly. Hopefully that would help her wake up and feel better during the afternoon.</COLOR></FONT>

<COLOR color="black">Six Or So Hours Later..
<i>
</i>
<FONT font="Lucida">Gabrielle managed to get another pair of her clothes from home over here so she could be dressed in something other than the formal dress she was wearing last night. To her it was a fairly cute but still comfortable outfit to wear while she waited around for awhile. However she was wearing her hair down and straightened now as opposed to have it up like she usually did. The shower really help her feel more relaxed and less sore than she did last night, she also had to admit that the body wash she used smelled really good too. Kind of reminded her of Cinnamon for some reason, which in the end made her think of Apple Pie or something deliciously sweet like that. Her favorite scents though had to be Citrus and Flowers though. Her entire home smelled like it, even to her brother's dismay. While Colton was gone she mostly occupied herself with being outside in the yard and such. But right now she was taking a relaxing break as she laid out on the grass outside the house lazily. Thhe Twilight sun reflected on her hair making it all shiny and Gold looking. As usual Gabrielle looked like a Goddess but paid no mind to her looks, in the end they would mean nothing if she couldn't warm that cold heart of hers. She had no idea what time it was but she hoped it would be six soon. Gabrielle wanted to see Colton again and she was kind of feeling awkward about whatever it was he wanted to talk about. Her bright blue eyes locked onto the clouds as she watched them roll by in wait.

Colton had managed to leave his house on time, and while at work, his clipboard was always shaking and his writing was not as smooth as before. Colton expected Gabrielle to be gone once he got back at the house. Colton dismissed a woman after an ultrasound, and he was now off work. Colton checked out and he apparated back to his home. Though he did not enter into the home yet. He was almost dreading what he would come in to see. Emptiness like his life, but Colton did not mind so much. His brown eyes glanced over at the yard, and he raised an eyebrow. The yard looked better than before, like someone had purposely decorated it with flowers and such. Colton scratched the back of his head and wondered how someone could plant flowers in the middle of the woods and in weather this chilly. Colton let out a soft sigh, and he opened the door to the house and entered it. Colton quickly showered again and put on a white shirt and jeans, as well as new socks and shoes. However, there was something else that concerned him. Colton used a spell to dry his hair and he searched the house. No sign of Gabrielle. Colton bit his lip, and leaned against the wall. How could he have been so stupid? He had always wanted to just make love to someone and have it mean something in the end. Colton decided to investigate the yard and when he did, he saw someone out there, and he raised an eyebrow once more. Then he recognized who it was. Gabrielle. So she had stuck around, and it was relieving. Now he could actually talk to her and all. Colton approached her, and he smiled a little bit when he approached her. “Um, did you enjoy yourself?” Colton wondered if she had anything to add on to what happened last night. She might not make a big deal from it, but he did.

Looks good to me

Gabrielle heard someone approach her and immediate opened her sky blue eyes and shifted her body so she was sitting up and was able to turn around and see Colton coming towards her. He looked like he was smiling a little and that allowed her to relax some. He might have had a good day at work or something. Her eyes followed him until he had finally reached her before she waved gently and continued to keep her eyes on him. "How was work?" Gabrielle trued to have a little bit of a civilized Conversation so maybe it would be less awkward for the two of them. She kind of hoped he would sit down too and relax some. Yeah they had been intimate last night and everything but she really just hoped that they would continue to hang out and stuff like they did the day they ended up having Breakfast together. It would prevent Colton from treated her like the other guy did and prevent her from panicking about how fast things had gone. Gabrielle had never dealt with attraction or love, or even feeling like someone thought she was special enough to be treated like a human being. After the years of abuse from her father she was used to being hated and disliked. Her mother wasn't around much either so there was a lot she had missed out on in her life. Hopefully Colton wouldn't be another person to turn his back on her, because whether or not they went further or not it would at least be nice for them to be friends. When Colton asked if she enjoyed herself she raised an eyebrow.

"Are you talking about last night orrrr while you were gone?" Gabrielle asked almost shyly as her eyes stared down at the ground for a moment before she returned them back onto Colton. Honestly she enjoyed both but while he was gone she had to admit that she felt a little awkward about being at his house without him here. But still, she had a nice time. His house was nice and it gave her more of an idea about Colton's personality. Maybe one day if she got the courage she would show him her house, which was pretty fancy itself and happened to be overdone with flowers due to her fondness for flowers and the lovely smell they gave off, but still she found it to be cute and overall home. "Oh I hope you don't mind, I got a little urge to do some gardening." She scratched her cheek shyly as she let her eyes gaze over to her the plants she had planted and made the area look pretty with some rocks and other outdoor decorations. The plants would be able to survive in the cool weather as long as Colton watered them every once in awhile, or she'd do it herself if he allowed her to. Gabrielle studied and knew exactly what was going to work and what wasn't.

Colton shrugged lightly and he muttered, "You know, the usual busy day. There are a lot of pregnant women from around here." Colton chuckled lightly, and he wondered if he should have brought out a soda or something for him to drink out here. Then again, he was not thirsty, he just needed something to keep him calm. Colton thought about having kids at one point, thanks to Ariah. Colton did not want kids right now though. He adored them, but he just could not handle them. Colton conjured a chair and he took a seat to admire what all Gabrielle has done to the place. It looked really nice. Colton let out a soft sigh and he murmured, "I meant why I was gone. But seeing what you did with the lawn, I guess you can say that you did enjoy yourself or got massively bored. I don't mind it a bit, I kind of like flowers, but they are not my forte." Colton almost did not want to go back to that topic of last night. It truthfully should not have happened, even if they did have chemistry. Colton was not ready to go that far on the first date. Colton wanted to explain himself right now, but he kept on thinking. He had asked someone at work what a Long Island Ice Tea was, and turned out, it was highly alcoholic. It would very well explain why he was not thinking as well last night.

The healer decided to get it all out while he could think of the words, "Okay, Gabrielle, about last night... I think that it should not have happened, but because of the alcohol in the tea that we were unaware of, we did so. The fact that you are still here, it stuns me because the first time I had done something intimate with was gone the next morning. And everything we talked about and all broke apart. I just hope that does not happen to us." This is probably the most someone could get Colton to talk. When it was on a certain matter that meant a lot to him, he would talk about it, as long and detailed as possible. "I like you, Gabrielle. Don't get that wrong, because I do, or else I would not care about last night. So, at work, I was thinking that we go out on another date, and not get drunk or tipsy like last night and see where it leads us. What do you think?" Colton crossed his leg and he put his hands together, giving her a charming smile. He liked her, but he was still cautious about being in a relationship. That happens after the third date, right? They would be going steady? Well, that would all depend on how well the second date goes.
