It had come as a rather big surprise when a magical social worker had turned up at the door of his modest Skye cottage, holding the hand of a boy that had just turned three. He’d been surprised when he’d been told the boy was his, that Maya was the mother and that he needed to live with him now. It had been a big surprise and the boy had seemed nervous and upset, and Graeme couldn’t help but feel sympathy for him. It would have to be rough, but now at least her was there. Graeme would be there for him, and even though it had only been about a month since he’d been placed with him, Graeme had absolutely already spotted the difference. Perhaps it had helped that he took Fraser everywhere with him. To quidditch games and practices, he was too young to leave on his own, and there was always someone on the wider team support with either the pride of portree or the scotland national team that were willing to watch him as Graeme played. He’d bought the boy a kid’s broom too, and he could tell already he was a natural. They were in New Zealand, there were a few things that had needed wrapped up and it was where Fraser had been born, so he was making sure all his documents were right too, but he’d taken a break from all of it. He had the boy on his shoulders, where he certainly seemed to enjoy the new view of the world and brought him to the park right by where he’d gone to school. He carefully lowered the boy to the ground of the park and got out the little kid’s broom and the kids size quaffle and let the little boy just fly off. He was watching him carefully, engaging every so often and just loving the sound of his son’s laughter filling the air. Graeme knew his life was forever different and he’d never probably know why Maya had left or what had happened to her, but he was glad he was able to get to know his son, even if the circumstances for why weren’t ideal.
Open to those with younger (2+ year old) children
