Jessica knew it probably wasn't the best idea to throw a celebratory party after their victory while on rival territory, but she was so happy with her team's performance, especially Elvira though she might be a little biased, so she was too happy to care. It was her last game ever playing with Beauxbatons after being on the team for so long, so she didn't want to hold back. After all the purpose of the match was to foster international magical cooperation or whatever, so this could be a way for the New Zealand kids to get to know them as well.

Sica tapped her wand on a magical radio a few times until the box found a station and began to play music, and cast a Sonorus charm on it for extra effect so it played out across the lawn. The carriage they were staying at was not too far away, parked near the gardens, but Sica brought out some tables and chairs and though there wasn't too much food in their carriage, given they were encouraged to eat at the Great Hall in the castle, there was some finger foods and plenty of candy scattered on the table for people. There were even cupcakes she'd baked beforehand (she had no doubt in her mind they'd win) that had survived the trip thanks to her protective shield charm. Fairy lights hovered above so it illuminated the area as the sun was setting after the day's game. Even if most Hogwarts students were sad about losing to them - though there were more cheers than she expected - she hoped they would let go of any hard feelings and have fun. She hadn't told her teammates she was doing any of this, but she thought it would be a nice surprise end to their season and her last act as a captain.

If Elvira couldn't feel the grass under her feet, she would be sure she was floating. The victory on Hogwarts had been everything she could have hoped for, and the kiss Jessica had given her after hadn only made everything more surreal and dreamlike. The fact that the other girl was nearly graduating and gone was something she didn't want to linger on yet, as it made her sad.

The celebration on the lawn was a surprise. Elvira followed the music and noticed their captain had done her best to bring a celebration to this strange country. It made Elvira smile, and she looked around. Hopefully, a few Hogwarts students would join too. It was always nice to mingle with new people, in her opinion. A little awkwardly, she walked over to Jessica and waved. Then wondered why she had waved. Before anything real had happened, it had been easy enough for her to flirt boldly. But now she felt strangely nervous. "Uh, nice cupcakes." She said, glancing at them. "Nice party, too."

Theodore knew Beauxbatons would win, he'd had no doubt in his mind that Elvira would catch the snitch before the red house's seeker even had a chance to get his bearings. It had been a bit worrying there for a moment, seeing his favourite teammate come so close to being taken out by the bludgers, but she'd done it, and they'd won. Naturally Theo was a little sad at not being able to play himself, but he doubted he'd had much of a chance at winning considering it was only his first year on the team, so he was happy to just be along for the trip. While he'd done surprisingly well over the year, a shock to even himself, he still had a lot to learn.

The sound of music drew La Croix back to the Beauxbatons carriage, reeling him back in from a few minutes spent exploring the grounds. A celebration by the looks of it, which Theodore was more than happy to join in on. The boy wandered on over, waving to his two teammates as he got closer. "Hey guys! How amazing was that game!" He commented enthusiastically, so glad he'd been able to see a match between the two schools. Being in another country was still so surreal, and having a victory on foreign turf was pretty amazing. He hadn't been the only one caught up in all the celebration though, seeing as how the two older teammates had gotten a little intimate on the pitch. "So are you two girlfriend and girlfriend now?"
