Rama Mowry was fascinated with Hogwarts. She loved the long, smooth hallways she'd need to use to get to classes. And, she even loved the many stairs she needed to take in order to get to Ravenclaw. There was so much about this school that she knew already, but she was even more excited to start learning about conditions like lycanthropy. Her father's condition was a huge part of her life because it forced her to at least try and be independent. Although it was not until last year that she realized how miserable her father was, she tried to become self-sufficient. Hezekiah may have become an entrepreneur and opened up a shop of his own, but Rama saw the parts of her father he couldn't see. She prided herself in that.

Rama sat on a couch in the Student Lounge reading a book on lycanthropy. Her father had already began sending her snacks, so she had a bag full of various goodies. She was eating shortbread biscuits for the moment. Her bag of goodies sat next to her. Rama loved to snack. Matter of fact, she loved to eat. But, what child did not love food. The first year was not picky when it came to food, but there was one thing for sure, she would never share food.

Zenia was thoroughly enjoying her time so far at Hogwarts. Of course, it would have been a lot better if her twin was in the same house, but Zenia was going to take what she could get and have fun anyway. There was still so much for her to see, but her lame older brother wouldn't show her around the castle. She wished that Jayson and Zoe could swap places, so Jayson was in Hufflepuff and Zoe was in Gryffindor, but Zenia didn't think Jayson would do well in Hufflepuff anyway. She was unable to find her twin (she still wasn't sure where her common room was), so the brunette made her way to a place she had heard called the Student Lounge. Zenia thought maybe Zoe would be in there, but even if she wasn't, there would be someone she could talk to! Unfortunately, her purple eyes couldn't spot the familiar face, so she looked for someone else instead. Zenia walked with a skip in her step to the girl she saw was a Ravenclaw. "Oooh that looks like an interesting book! Hey yum, shortbread biscuits! Mind if I have one?" Zenia asked with a grin, moving her hand closer, but not exactly taking one yet. She wasn't that rude.

Rama glanced quickly from her book at the girl who spoke to her. Lycanthropy was not a necessarily interesting topic to many. The Ravenclaw doubted that her book was the girl's primary interest because she proceeded to reach her hand towards her precious snack. Rama shook her head. "I actually do mind. You cannot have one." she told the girl politely. Personally, it was hard for Rama to take no for an answer. Although the girl was used to getting her way, she was getting better at accepting rejection. She just had to take it day by day.

At the girl's reply, Zenia blanched. Generally, Zee shared everything with her twin. Even if it was something that there was only one of, the eldest twin would gladly share with her younger sister, letting her have the last chocolate even! Although, really it would be more fair to chop the last chocolate in half and both of them have some. So the fact that this girl said she couldn't have a biscuit, no matter how sweetly she said it, Zenia wasn't too happy with that answer. "But you have tons of them. What do you need all those biscuits for? Haven't you heard of sharing is caring? Like, it's just one biscuit, I'm not going to steal all of them." Zenia asked incredulously, though not sure if she even wanted one anymore.

Rama closed her book and sighed. Was it that hard to just accept her answer? This girl was not entitled to her stuff, and Rama was not required to share it. "You are not entitled to any of my biscuits. They are my property, so I can share them if I choose to. Now, I am am choosing not to." she stated matter of factly. Rama held eye contact with the girl as she proceeded to put another biscuit in her mouth.

Zenia watched as the girl gave her curt reply, before she put a biscuit in her mouth. The Gryffindor girl dropped her chin slightly, looking at the girl in disbelief. Zenia didn't even want anything from this girl, but she was going to make it her mission to get a biscuit. "But it's just one biscuit." Zenia reiterated. "I don't understand why you're not going to share!" She exclaimed, this time reaching forward to try to steal a biscuit from the packet, and if she did manage to get one, she'd shove it quickly in her mouth so the crazy girl couldn't get it back.

Rama was not having this any more. She stood up and swiftly grabbed the girl's wrist. She pushed her away and grabbed her bag of snacks. "Keep your ratty paws away from my stuff. No means no! Have you ever heard about consent?!" she yelled at the girl. Why was she so intent on having a freaking biscuit? Rama knew violence was not a good response to anything. If this girl only learned through getting hurt, she was going to bring the pain. "Who do you think you are anyway? You privileged brat!"

Everyone and everything seemed to be intent on testing Monty's patience today. As a general rule, the Potions Professor was poised and even-tempered in manner, scarcely raising his voice beyond what was necessary to be heard. But when an argument began to break across the room, he felt not for the first time that day like he might just snap. He gave it a moment, hoping it might diffuse itself, and he would not have to pause his studies to attend to it. Alas, this was not to be. The moment the dispute became physical, Monty put down his book and approached. "Thank you, that's enough," he told the Ravenclaw sternly, before turning to Zenia. "Would one of you care to explain what the problem is?"

When the Ravenclaw girl grabbed her wrist, Zenia's jaw dropped, and she fell back a step when she was pushed away. Zenia's eyes narrowed, an almost growl in her throat as the girl shouted at her, but before she could tackle the girl down and wrestle the biscuits out of her hand, a Professor stepped forward who Zenia recognized as Professor Pendleton. The brunette girl scowled, and took a step back, folding her arms. "This psycho is as greedy as they come and needs to learn how to share. She's the worst kind of person." Zenia stated before storming out of the room, her day ruined.

It was now that a professor decided to do something? Rama Jaslinn Mowry huffed. The adult had the nerve to tell her to calm down when it was this horrid rat that needed to respect the property of others! Psycho? Rama never got so worked up, but she was livid, and the red in her cheeks and on her ears were proof enough of her anger. "Why are you looking at her for an explanation?! She was trying to steal my stuff! Does this school condone this?" she yelled angrily at the professor. Before the man was able to get a word out, Rama tackled the girl, who was attempting to flee the scene. She grabbed a fistful of hair and started to pull. With her other hand, she kept the the girl on the ground. Rama had completely forgotten her snacks and book and had left them on the ground somewhere near the professor. She was going to destroy this girl for making the sweet Ravenclaw in her disappear.

An angry yell reached Zenia's ears and the brunette rolled her eyes, her mood completely ruined and she hoped she'd never have to see the crazy Ravenclaw again. However, with no warning, Zenia felt her body fall to the ground, and her hair being pulled up. She cried out in anger and pain, and she reached her arms out behind her, scratching wherever she could reach, the girls arms, legs, hopefully even her stupid face.

Monty raised an eyebrow at the word 'psycho,' but remained patiently quiet, prepared to hear each of the girls out and assist them in reaching a mature and sensible agreement. Then he came back to the real world. In the time it took the Potions Professor to react accordingly and withdraw his wand, the angrier of the two first years had tackled the other to the ground, and was now, from what Monty could gather, trying to rip her hair out. Outwardly composed, but inwardly suppressing panic, Professor Pendleton flicked his wand at the girls, releasing their vice like grips and separating them in one swift motion. "Enough!" he said, advancing to stand beside them. "What is going on here? Come on, get up; both of you. You ought to be ashamed of yourselves, fighting over a packet of biscuits. Now, you've both a plenty to be repentant for, so tell me: are you going to apologise to each other here, or would you prefer to do it in front of your heads of houses?" Monty had every intention of informing Professor Spenser and Professor Kingsley anyway - violence would not be tolerated - but he hoped not to have to escorts the girls to see them.

Zenia continued to yell as the girl pulled her hair, before the girl suddenly wasn't on her anymore, and she turned around, pushing herself up so she was sitting. Zenia was ready to attack the girl, before she realized it was the Professor that had separated them. Her mouth dropped open when the man told them both to apologize, or they'd do it in front of their Heads of Houses, she had nothing to be repentant for! Zenia stood up and pointed at the other girl. "She was the one who attacked me! I did nothing! She attacked me while my back was turned!" Zenia yelled, before crossing her arms over her chest, her eyes narrowed at the Professor.

One second Rama was trying to rip the girl's hair out and the next second she wasn't. She had nothing to be ashamed of. This girl did not know how to take no for an answer, and it was going to get her in trouble. "You were trying to run away with your tail in between your legs. So much for being brave." Rama muttered and rolled her eyes. She stood with her arms crossed. "I have nothing to say to this rat." she spoke boldly and grabbed her book and bag of snacks from the ground. She held them close to her chest. She had no problem seeing her Head of House.

Monty sighed, closing his eyes as the girls continued to argue right in front of him. He'd met some quarrelsome students in his time, but these two were absolutely irrepressible. He was pleased at least to see that the Ravenclaw had made his duty a little simpler by gathering her own belongings. "Fine," he said, "Professor Spenser first, I think. Both of you will follow me." There wasn't much need to take Zenia to the Ravenclaw head of house, but if the Gryffindor thought for one moment Monty was letting her out of his sight, she was very much mistaken.

"Rat?!" Zenia was beside herself with rage. Surely by walking away from a fight was showing something better, and wasn't her not being brave, but Zenia nearly smacked the girl's books from her hand as she picked them up. "I was just trying to get away from the smell of you, your stench has been burned into my nostrils and I need some fresh air." Zenia snapped. The brunette huffed at Professor Pendleton, but followed him anyway, as if she needed to get herself into more trouble by ignoring the Professor. Though, she did wonder what would happen if she just ran into her room, what he would do.

Rama had never seen this side of herself. She was always told that she was an intelligent and generous young lady. But, when it came to her snacks the things she was rightfully entitled to, she had no room for sharing or caring about the feelings of others. "My smell clearly did stop you from groveling on the ground like a lowly house elf." she retorted snidely. Rama continued to follow the professor making sure to keep her distance from the trash the walked with her.

At the girl's response, Zenia rolled her eyes. She had never met someone so infuriating, and that was saying a lot because of the family she came from. "I wasn't grovelling." Zenia retaliated. "You know, if you're going to be a smart-ass, you have to at least be smart. Otherwise, you're just an ass." The brunette said, matter-of-factually, before pulling her tongue at the Ravenclaw.

Rama shrugged at the girl's words. Her opinion did not matter because she was not important enough for her voice to matter. "I have no problem with being an ass. At least I am an ass that doesn't have to beg for food from others." she said calmly. When the girl stuck her tongue out at her, she got mad. She walked over and shoved the Gryffindor. Then, Rama threw her book at the girl. It was the school's book, so she did not care if it broke.

Getting shoved, and then a book thrown at her was the last straw. "I did not beg!" Zenia shouted, before launching herself at the girl, jumping on her side, trying to bring her down to the ground. The Gryffindor had never been in a fight like this before, but she always knew she was lively and hot-headed, and she would stand by her actions.

Rama was done with this day. This crazy Gryffindor decided to jump on her! It was true that Rama had definitely instigated a fight, twice in one day in fact. The girl did not expect her opponent to be so strong. But, Rama was smart. She knew this girl did not have ant strategies in place in order to win. She put her hand on the girl's face, and she pushed it away as they both felt to the ground."You disgusting, fat pig!" she yelled.

How many steps had Monty taken when the girls were on the floor again? He brandished his wand, once more parting them, but this time also ensuring that they could not touch one another again. "Really; what is the matter with you two?" Monty asked. "I will not have any more of this silly name calling. It's petty and unkind. Now come along, before either of you damage any more school property - or each other." The Potions Professor shook his head.

Zenia felt her face being pushed as the other girl fell on top of her, and she landed with an "oof", followed by growling as the girl called her a fat pig, which was totally uncalled for! Before either of them were able to do too much damage, Professor Pendleton had separated them again, and Zee found herself unable to go near the Ravenclaw. She scowled and turned to the Professor. "She's the one calling me names! And she threw a book at me!" Zenia yelled.

Rama attempted to do as much damage as she could to this girl. It was too bad that Professor Pendleton separated them and made sure Rama could not go near the other girl again. She snickered at the girl's words and picked up her book. "I was not trying to bee kind in the first place." she told the professor, clearly ignoring the other girl's words. Ugh. Today was horrible.
