New Year's Resolutions

Do any of you make New Year's resolutions?
If so, what are they for this year? The traditional lose weight, do better in school, etc. ? Or something else altogether?

Personally, I don't make resolutions. I have little faith that I would keep them, and I don't ascribe much meaning to the new year. Why wait to decide to better your life somehow?

One Resolution: Study, and do well in the J.C./ Attempt to study at all.

The J.C is the Junior Cert, we do it in Third Year here.

Normally I have trouble sticking to my resolutions, but this year the resolutions I've made seem a bit easier.

- Graduate // Get into Nursing program
- Donate to at least 3 charities
- Spend more time with my family

So they aren't exactly traditional but they seem a lot easier than the traditional ones I try to make. Let's see if this year I can break my habit of not finishing them. Twelve is my lucky number so I'm hopeful that this will an amazing year!

Oh and, HAPPY NEW YEAR'S EVERYONE!

My resolution:

Stop feeling guilty for things that I do not have the power to change and stop feeling sorry for myself for the things that have happened in the past. I decided this a few weeks ago forgetting about New Years and resolutions so I might as well make it one. I plan on going through with it instead of every other one I have made because I want to live in the present when I'm in Europe. Being my best self and all that jazz.​

My resolution's too be a better me.

Mine is going to be realistic, for me that is:
-Get better at writing
-Help out as much as possible
-Go to college, any college

That's about it.

Somewhat the same as they have been in the past,

- Be better with money
- See more of the US
- Visit friends & family while I'm here
- Make the most out of my placement year
- Loose weight
- Get back into Uni with as much ease as possible
