A new profile field has been added to HNZ in order to allow you to indicate your OOC (Out of Character) first name to other users of the board. Ideally, this will allow members with less awesome memories to know which accounts belong to who. This will also allow us to call you by your first name instead of your character's first name.
The profile field itself has been coded (by the amazing skills of Reid
) to separate itself from the rest of the added profile fields, separating the IC from OOC.
Of course, it's all optional, but it has been enabled for input on registration. If you are interested in adding this information to your profile, simply click here to update your profile.
This was something that has been suggested in the past, and Livvy and I agreed it was a good idea a while ago, but it has taken some time to implement it properly. So remember that we do listen to your suggestions and consider them all - even if it takes us a while to implement the change.
Please note that we would ask you only use this profile field to put your real first name. Please do not try to use this field to trick other users in to believing you are somebody new if you are not. Please also note that any input to the field that is not a name will simply be removed.
