Well, first of all, welcome to HNZ. Its great fun and i am sure that you will love it. I would suggest a few places to visit first:

If you can read the rules here, then i am sure that you will start to understand what the forum is all about.
2) Your might want to request a name change if your character will be going to school: http://hogwartsnewzealand.com/home/?c=20
3) If you need anything else, just pm an administrator: Cecily Zhefarorvich, Nicolas King.
Or someone in purple, like Patricia Styx, Hadan Johnson or Professor Cyndi Weasley.
