Evie’s break had gone rather quickly, but to say that it was a break was a bit of a lie. It didn’t feel like a break at all to the Gryffindor as she spent the majority of it focusing on her animagus training. She was focusing so much on it that she didn’t pay much attention to the new badge that she received until she had slowed down a little bit and had a look around her. Many of her friends didn’t have the badge that she did, and honestly this made her a little disappointed. Only two of her friends managed to get the position with her, and it just wasn’t enough. One particular person that should have received the badge was Molly, and so Evie wanted to try and cheer her up a little. Not even knowing if it was allowed, that morning, Evie let herself into the Hogwarts Gardens so she could pick a couple of sunflowers for her friend. She tied them together with a bow and headed to the Great Hall where she was sure Molly would be having some breakfast. When she saw her friend at the Hufflepuff table, she beamed and approached her. "Hey Molly! I got some flowers for you." She held them out to her before taking a seat next to her. "How was your break?"

Molly was totally bumped out. While she was happy for her friends that had received a badge, she herself was a little disappointed that she didn't receive one. She was a little jealous of her friends. Her break wasn't that great either. Her parents were constantly fighting now and her brother was away and staying with a friend. Overall, right now, everything sucked.

Molly sat at the Hufflepuff table. It was around breakfast time and right now all she was doing was leaning on her arm, playing with her cereal, lost in thought. Her train of thought came to a stop when she noticed her friend, Evie. Which perked up her mood a little. She smiled brightly when she noticed the flowers in her hand. "Hey Evie, Thank you! You didn't have to do that. I appreciate it though" Molly says with a smile and a small giggle, as she gently took the flowers and looked at them with a big smile. She deeply appreciated her friend. "To be honest? My break sucked real bad. How was your break?"

Evie smiled, glad that Molly seemed to like the flowers. She thought it was the least she could do since it was mostly her fault that the pair of them hadn't been hanging out with each other as much as they used to. Her smile turned to a frown however as Molly said her break sucked. "How come?" she asked, narrowing her eyebrows. She hated that she had been enjoying her own life a little too much to see that her friend wasn't very happy with hers. It made her feel like such a bad friend, so bad in fact that Evie would have felt very guilty answering Molly's question in return, and so kept her mouth shut so that it wouldn't make Molly feel even worse.
