Alex has just finished sorting out the house and his family for Leah to visit for the holidays. She attended beauxbatons and was taking the plane from France. His brother was staying at Hogwarts for the holidays, even though Alex had asked him to come home for the weekend, he would be disapearing again on monday. His sister, Emily, was also making her room nice. Leah was going to be staying over with her. His other siblings, Katie Sophie and Jack, were just plain annoying, and were trying their best to get in the way. He'd asked the twins to take Jack in the garden, but instead they'd just brought the garden inside. Alex was busy cleaning the carpet when there was a knock at the door.

Robert knocked on the door to his house. His parents no longer were with them. His dad had been put in jail, his mother had moved out to help him close by. Robert and his siblings didn't know the details, but Alex, Emily and now Leah had been put in charge of the younger ones.

Robert remembed he now had a key and let himself in, hauling his trunk behind him. He was only staying for the weekend, then he would go back and spend the holiday with Rhianne. He dumped his stuff at the bottom of the stairs and found Alex scrubbing the floor. "Hey man," he grinned at him, and walked into the kitchen to grab something to eat.
"Congrats on the girl" he called through. Robert had yet to meet Leah, although he heard she would be staying here for the holidays too. In Emily's room. He lent against the wall in the lounge, nibbling on a bar he'd found in the fridge, just as one of the twins came into the room. "Hey when's Leah supposed to get here?" he asked, not caring who gave him an answer.

"I dunno," Sophie said, wandering into the lounge and launching herself onto the sofa.
"Soon, I think." She was wearing knee high white socks, a knee length violet and green dress and a small purple alice band to hold the hair out of her face.
She didn't know much or care much about Robert's life as a wizard but their parents had trained her to ask.
"How's schooool?" She asked, holding the 'o' for a moment or two.
Sophie was bored, having already been told off by Alex for making a mess and really wanted to watch T.V.
But the remote was on top of the television and the television, off.
She groaned a little to herself, glaring at the T.V. and ignoring Robert.
The television clicked on and there was a familiar static buzzing noise as the light faded in and a man appeared, talking about football.

Alex continued to scrub the floor, ignoring Sophie when she landed on the sofa. (not soda oops xD). "Yeah. She'll be here any minute. I thought it was her when you arrived." he confessed, taking the bucket into the kitchen and empting it. It would have to do, he thought, staring at the damp spot. "Sophie. You're not.." he stop in mid sentence when the TV turned itself on, the remote the other side of the room. He turned to see Robert grinning to himself, and caught his eye. Alex wasn't like his siblings, he was jealous he and his fiance had "powers". If any other family members had it too, it would have been worse though. At least there was only two of them, as long as they didn't start ganging up on the normal ones, as Alex liked to say. There was another knocked at the door, and Alex jumped through the doorway to the front door, muttering to Sophie and Robert to find Kate and Emily. No one had yet been introduced.

((For now i'll play Emily as we have yet to pick someone))

Emily wandered casually down the stairs, giving Robert a smile. He was the same as ever. She glared at him, and the televison, trying to get him to turn it off again. Leah wouldn't mean much to them, but they should know it meant alot to Alex. Emily now had to look after her younger siblings, and found it hard to keep to the standards their mum did. She paused on the bottom step, and smiled to Sophie, who was in a grumpy mood. What was new?

Leah knocked on the door written on the piece of paper in her hand, and smiled brightly when Alex opened the door. "Hey!" she said excitedly, trying not to show how nervous she really was. She gave him a hug, and stepped in, suprized at the number of faces staring back at her. "Hi." she said, looking to each of them. Must be his family. she gathered, hoping she would remember their names. She wasn't sure what she was supposed to do, and now wished she'd talked to Christelle more about what you were supposed to say..not that she would know of course, she only had time for studying these days, then again there was Max... She told herself to stop rambling. "You must be.. Emily?" she asked, taking a shot at the most obvious. The worst that could happen would be that she made herself look like a fool. Leah had a very faint french accent, but she'd done well to try to disguise it.

When Robert was done after managing to turn on the TV with just his mind, he wandered into the kitchen rather than to greet the guest. If she was a beauxbatons, he was going to have to stay away from her. He was already feeling guilty to Rhianne after the meeting with Larissa. He had a drink of cold water, before heading back out to the room. Leah looked as though she'd just stepped out of..well..beauxbatons. "Hi. Robert" he said simply, nudging Sophie over so he could take a seat. Maybe he would leave the TV on, then he at least could feel better about himself.

Katie walked in to the kitchen and smiled at Leah. "Hi," she said. She walked in to the lounge and to Sophie and launched herself on to the sofa like Sophie had. She had left another trail of what used to be part of the garden where she had walked. She never had been one for politeness. Katie and Sophie were wearing almost identical outfits, just a few tiny colour differences. Katie loved to trick people by confusing them about which twin was which. She winked at her twin. "Whoopsie," she said in a voice that indicated she wasn't sorry at all. She loved to annoy her older siblings, it was so much fun! She also loved to boss around Jack, she was always finding ways to get on her family's nerves. But with other people, she sweet-talked her way out of it. "So, Leah's here," she said, mischievously smiling . She lowered her voice to a whisper. "How do you think we should make this occasion special?" Katie made a motion that showed Sophie to talk as she had so their siblings and Leah would definitely not hear their next plan. She didn't care if she got yelled at by family, she didn't even listen. She just smiled and thought of her next plan.

Sophie, always easily lead by her twin sister, focussed on her.
"Well.. we could bake Leah a cake." This sounded innocent enough but nothing was ever innocent with the twins.
"A special cake." she smiled, a plan forming in her head:
Perhaps it would make the place more lively if they went into the garden.. gathered up some supplies and started on their special 'chocolate' surprise cake.

Katie smiled at her twin. "Very special indeed," she said, knowing what her twin was thinking of, as always. "Let's go get our supplies so we can get started on our delicious cake." She giggled with delight. If she wasn't causing trouble, she wasn't happy. Katie thought that since there had been rain, there was liquid-like mud. She decided that could be the frosting. Then of course, all different kinds of dirt, maybe even one part with worms or bugs crawling around in them. Katie could not wait to get started. She was always eager to cause trouble. She started to walk outside in to the garden before she could get yelled at by Alex. Of course, she didn't mind getting yelled at, she just wanted to get started. Katie motioned to Sophie to follow her. "Going out to the garden!" she yelled so the people in the other room could hear. Then she walked out in to the garden.
