Emilee Smith was more then a little perturbed. Her Grandmother had sent her to this Merlin Forsaken school, simply to spy on her older siblings. Then she had been put into the same house as them. To say the least, she was not very happy at all. She didn't like Mudbloods, she didn't like Halfbreeds, she didn't like blood traitors, she didn't like people not of her colour, she didn't like Homosexuals, or Bisexuals for that matter, in fact there was a very small demographic of people she actually did like. Namely people that were exactly like she was. If there were people around her, that were not like her, she was not a happy little girl, not at all.

Emilee made her way along the corridor and looked around as she did so. As much as this place looked like Hogwarts Scotland, it was not it, she would have preferred that, over this place. Why she couldn't continue being home-schooled she didn't know. She had liked that, she could work at her own pace, she could do what she liked and she didn't have to listen to anyone bar her Grandmother and Isla (though she only listened to Isla when she absolutely had too) This school had too many people that she had to listen too. She sighed, she was ever going to like this school. However, just as she was about to take a step down the stairs, she tripped, her books falling free of her arms and herself tumbling down until she reached the bottom. "Ugh." This was not her best day, at all.

Ryder was lost in his thoughts. He wasn't focused at all on where he was going and he didn't care. He didn't really want to be at Hogwarts right now, he wanted to go home and hug his sister until things were better. Here he couldn't avoid seeing Miah, at breakfast, between classes. It seemed everywhere he turned he could see his friend and he felt his heart break all over again every time. Pushing away the thoughts away before he began crying again he rounded the corner, dodging people and trying to hide his blotchy face as he went. He didn't want to have to deal with any of this right now, it was too much.

Turning in to the fifth floor corridor Ryder watched in horror as a first year fell down the stairs in front of him, he knew he should have rushed forward to stop the girl falling down them all but he was glued to the spot. When she had landed at the bottom in front of him he shook himself and walked over to her. Kneeling down beside her he offered her a hand, to help her up "Are you okay?" he asked looking the girl over for any obvious injuries, broken bones and the like. He didn't know the girl but she looked only just older than his sister and he couldn't help but care about her. "Do you need me to get a nurse or something?" he asked concerned that she was still on the ground.

Emilee was so intent on picking herself up off of the ground that she did not notice that there had been a witness to her fall until after he was already kneeling beside her, holding out his hand to help her up and attempting to check her for injuries or bruises. Emilee frowned smacked the boys hand away from her. It was bad enough that he had witnessed her moment of weakness, but now that he was trying to help her up and actually speak to her, made things about ten times worse. She hated showing weaknesses with unadulterated passion and it was exactly this reason that she had told her Grandmother that she had not wanted to set foot in a school with so many people and so many opportunities to make herself look like an idiot. It was just wrong. "I do not need your help. Thank you." She told him, standing on her own and leaning down to retrieve the books she had dropped. She did not want this boy near her. She wanted him to go away.

"I do not need a nurse. There is nothing broken. I am fine." It wasn't entirely true, but there was nothing that would cause her any permanent damage, she could feel a bruise or two starting to form, but that was the worst of it. She had no need to be in this boys presence any longer then she needed to be. He probably wasn't even a Pure blood, he was probably a half-blood or something. But she did not know for sure. He wasn't even in a particularly good mood, he looked sad, like he had been crying or something, pathetic. Emilee never cried. "I wish for you to go away now, if you do not mind."
