Open More Dancing!

[Aurora Archer]

Aurora had decided to put the red flower crown back on for the valentine’s dance. She had taken it off a few times in the day when it wasn’t the most appropriate for her to be wearing them. She had enjoyed the rose giving and knew though she might drag her heels a little, it wasn’t going to take much for Rosie to convince her to do it again. Aurora was holding Rosie’s hand as they walked into the hall, she’d redone both of their make ups and ensured that it was sitting pretty and fresh. SHe was excited to just get to the dancing at it had been the most exciting part of the yuleball, and she was keen to see it again. ’Okay, snacks and then dancing,” she said with a smile, since she did want to see what snacks were on offer before they were all gone.​

Rosie was on a cloud nine she hadn’t known existed, school had really been amazing so far and the rose giving was more so than anything else. It was just so good, so nice to have been able to hand out roses, to be in amongst so much love and care, Rosie thought it just amazing. The young gryffindor had been so on cloud nine that she’d agreed to let Aurora do a little make up for her, she felt it was a little odd, but didn’t mind too much. She followed her sister into the great hall. She was so looking forward to having fun, and looking forward to hopefully spending time with there friends. She couldn’t immediately spot Xinyi in the crowd of people. Rosie glanced towards the snacks as they arrived there and then looked to Aurora, ”There’s a love heart cupcake,”​

 

[Soren Gates]

Soren knew he looked adorable. He skipped down to the Great Hall, finding the twins easily. He smiled brightly and sauntered over, leaning in to try and startle them. "I see lots of cupcakes," He announced, laughing lightly and moving to stand with them. "Are we going for the snacks first?" He looked between the girls. "You two look lovely today," He smiled playfully at them.

Aurora glanced up from Rosie to Soren and gave him an excited wave. "We are!" Aurora told him. "Just some fuel before we get to dancing," she motioned to the dancefloor and gave an excited smile. "How was your valentines?" She asked, "We delivered your rose to Slate," Aurora told him with a wide smile. ​

Rosie gave a warm smile to Soren, she liked him, but knew he was a little closer to Aurora. She took the time, to glance about look for if Xinyi was in amongst the crowd while munching on a cupcake. She took a while to spot him in the crowd, but she did spot him. She raised a hand and waved excitedly over to him. She wasn't sure why he hadn't come over, but perhaps he had a date or plans with someone else. ​

 

[Valentina Merriwick]

While Valentina had chosen to skip the Yule ball due to a lack of date she wanted to make a point to go to the Valentines dance, she refused to miss all of the social events in her first year. She made her way into the Great hall and made a beeline for the drinks table. Scanning the room her eyes landed on some familiar faces, fellow first year Gryffindors. Valentina didn't know them well, not that she knew anyone well, but decided to slowly move closer to them all the same.

Soren chuckled at Aurora's comments. "Snacks are always good," He agreed easily. "Mine was great, how was yours?" He asked, laughing outright as she mentioned delivering to his brother. "Good! I still need to tease him for forgetting to send me one," He glanced about for his brother when he saw a girl nearby. "Hello!" He called. "Did you want to join us?" He tried to wave her over, smiling brightly.

Aurora nodded in agreement. "Rosie and I had fun with it," she spotted Rosie looking and waving over at Xinyi and gave a little smile as another boy appeared beside him. "Ooooh does Xinyi have a date?" she asked excited to Rosie, "That's why he hasn't come over then," Aurora said with a smile. She then glanced at Soren was calling over to someone else. "Yeah, come join us Valentina," she knew the girl from their dorm. "We're just going to go start dancing like now!" she said, since she was sure Rosie would want to get to dancing near immediately. ​

Rosie was watching Xinyi lightly and couldn't help the excited giggle spotting him with someone else. She nodded to Aurora, "It appears he does," she was happy for him, but her tone almost had a little disappointment that he wouldn't be spending the time with them. She glanced away at the other girl, Valentina, and then to Soren. "Yeah, let's just get to dancing!" she exclaimed since dancing would be the best thing. ​
