Avie was a member of the brotherhood, and a person who always seemed to smile. Archie didn't need to have known the guy for long to realise that. So upon hearing the shocking, unfortunate news of Avie's death, Archie pulled the brotherhood together to create a memorial outside the club's room, decorated with flowers from the wild patch and rocks from various areas around the school. Next to the memorial was a table with a pile of parchment pieces, ribbons, and a set of quills sitting in a small bottle of black ink. The memorial was in conjunction with the valentine's day flower deliveries, however on it's own tangent as it's intention was to be a place in which students of any age and professors alike could pay their respects, leaving thoughtful messages for Avie that would be attached to one of the memorial's roses. Death was not something Archie was familiar with. He had not experienced the death of anyone he knew until Avie, but regardless he hoped this plan would be enough to remember his fallen brethren. After setting up the memorial and delicately placing flowers around it and ensuring extra flowers were sitting in a nearby basket to ensure there wouldn't be any shortages, Archie picked up one of the quills and a piece of parchment to write his own message to the boy. When he finished writing, he tied the note to one of the roses and placed it next to one of the memorial's rocks.
I'm sorry that I didn't get the chance to know you better, I will always remember you smiling.

OOCOut of Character:
This is a brotherhood event that is in conjunction with the valentine's day flower deliveries and the school yearbook. Your character will be able to leave messages for Avie here that will be later featured on a page in Accio. The deadline for Accio is IC may, so if you would like a guarantee that your message to Avie will be featured, it should be posted by then.

The last thing Professor Pendleton felt like doing was showing his face about the school, but he owed as much to the boy. He owed him much, much more than a rose and a piece of parchment - how could he possibly express his grief on a single slip? - but til he could think of some more adequate way to apologise, the note would have to suffice. Hoping to miss the crowd, the Potions Professor made his way up to the sixth floor corridor at the earliest possible moment, arriving first and leaving before too many others showed up.

Gone in form, but the prints left behind on the hearts touched will last a lifetime. Rest in peace, Avie.

Isaiah as the vice of the brotherhood had more than approved of the idea Archie had come up with following the slytherin seeker's death, he had wholeheartedly supported it. The teen was rather familiar with death, though it had been years since it had last passed in front of him. But Isaiah had joined that ravenclaw quidditch team, and through that, he'd gotten to know the slytherin boy, it felt odd now knowing he'd never see that boy with the bright smile on his face, flying around the pitch, or throwing little rocks at his teammates. He had been good, the final piece of the slytherin team trifecta that seemed to almost guarantee victory. Isaiah felt sorry that such an accident, such a terrible thing had befallen the boy that had been so widely liked by the people he'd known. He hadn't known the boy personally, but given that he'd seen how fiercely protective the other older slytherin's could be definitely gave him an idea that no matter how sorry, and upset he felt, they had to feel so much worse. The boy was pleased with all that Archie had managed, and he picked up a quill and a slip of parchment, sitting with the ink dipped quill hovering above the paper. What to say to the boy, he'd never written a note like this, had hoped he'd never had to. After spending a moment jotting something down he placed it next to a rose and left.
Brother, I hope where ever you are, the rocks are the best you've ever seen.
You'll be missed.

Jean had been keeping mostly to himself, not quite ready to be around the younger students who frequently annoyed him, not sure what more to say to his brother and not yet ready to talk to Victoire. Alone wasn't good though because it just gave Jean too much time to think, and he'd found that, when left to its own devices, his mind tended towards pessimism. Jean had learned of the Brotherhood's plans from Archie, and he'd agreed to help however he could even if he would really prefer to be in bed. He'd even signed up to help deliver roses, using that as an excuse to not escort Victoire to the Yule ball. He hadn't let her know about this yet, fearing how it'd go over. With his hands stuffed into his pockets, Jean waited patiently for his turn to write a message. He mulled over what to say for a while before finally scrawling his message. With a watery smile, Jean quickly handed his note over and then left to compose himself.
I don't think I'll ever meet a better hide and seek player or patrol partner as long as I live. We'll meet again. I can't wait.

Ever since her friend's death, the corridors of Hogwarts New Zealand were quieter and the atmosphere was much more still. It was like he left and took all of the happiness with him, and Charlotte was left with nothing. But with that, he left behind memories which the third year would never forget and she couldn't wait to meet him again in the distant future and tell him all about her adventures she was to have. Charlotte heard that in memory of him the Brotherhood were letting people write notes to him and it gave her an excuse to get herself out of her dormitory and walk around the corridors. It didn't take her long to find it set up on the sixth floor, and she took a deep breath before walking closer to it, not having any idea what to say to him or if her words would even get to him. Nevertheless, Charlotte slowly picked up a quill and a piece of parchment and wrote the words to him which she never thought she'd have to write.

Thank you Avie for being the one I most looked up to. You have made me believe that anything is possible.

[adminapproval=11329234] Emily had really only just stepped back onto the grass of Hogwarts when the horrible news had found her. So many things went through her head. She'd known Avie for such a long time. He'd been one of her first friends at Hogwarts. She blamed herself for this. She should never have left the school. Logan was mad at her. She was sure that Tressa and Gajeel hated her. The thug that Havoc hung around took every chance to belittle her. She knew there were so many things happening and yet her mind could not settle past the fact that one of the happiest and most lively people she knew, was no longer alive. She was a magnet for this sort of thing. Bad things happened to everyone she knew. Nico, her parents, Nate, Tressa, Gajeel, Logan and now Avie. Everywhere she turned there was another problem and Emily just had to wonder if maybe she was cursed. Cursed to not have a happy life, cursed so that all she knew might be turned upside down. Whatever the reason, Emily had not been able to speak a single word since she'd heard about the accident. Tears were free flowing from her as she moved up to the others who were leaving a tribute for Avie. She knew only one thing to say.
Avie,
You were everything. I'm sorry.
Emily xx

While the little service that Kylie had started she had tried to give people the chance to smile just a little. Not the easiest task considering the recent passing of a student she had never met but had heard a lot about. Mostly it was to do with rocks but that didn't mean the Ravenclaw didn't feel sorry for the boy. Not enough to write a rose from herself, however, but enough to ensure that the delivery of the rose sent to him would be delivered as respectfully as possible. She was not bothering to greet anyone she saw as she did this which was quite different for the vivacious Latina but it was what something of this nature deserved. She could only assume that the person who had written this heartfelt note would want that too as they were grieving. Placing the rose amongst the others with the note attached Kylie left afterwards so anyone who might wish to could read it.
Dear Avie,

I'm so sorry Avie. I am so sorry. I really just don't know why this happened. I blame myself. I should've said something. I'll miss you. Everyone will miss you. We love you Avie.

xx Emily

Her father had talked about this once or twice. A couple of times Daisy had heard her mom talking about it with him too. She couldn't quite remember what her mom said, and she knew that now would be the right time to remember. Daisy was hurting. She knew a lot of people would be hurting as well. Death sucked. It shouldn't happen. The young Gryffindor didn't know Avie well, but from what she did know of him, she loved him. He was one of the coolest people she met and she was angry that she didn't get to know him more. She was upset. There were so many feelings she had, she didn't know how to deal with it. There was something that she thought might help, so she stood at the memorial for Avie, tears falling.

I'm sorry we didn't get to know each other more. I'm sorry we didn't collect rocks together. I will always make forts and throw rocks. Thanks for teaching me how to have fun.
