Closed Making the Most Out of Things

Val couldn't believe he had misplaced the set of new comic books he bought over the break. Now basically, his only source of entertainment in the castle had been left behind somewhere at home. He was a little dumbfounded that he'd do something so careless even after he reminded himself about them about five times. He was walking around the school bored when he remembered that the school had a library. Val hadn't bothered to step into the library at all during his first year. He had all the books and entertainment he could ever need right there in the dorms and didn't feel the need to. But now that he had nothing to do, maybe he'd pick up a book or two.... maybe.

He entered the library and first looked if they had a comic book section. He knew that it was a Magical school without technology, but possibly it was now modern enough to have some? Val continued to look around but couldn’t seem to find any. He continued to look around till he noticed one of his classmates. “Uh.. You don’t think they have a comic book section, do you?” He asked. Val would feel much more awkward asking the librarian about it.

Branson was helping his father, placing some of the new books for the semester away. He didn’t need to, his father had told him to not bother but here Branson found himself, keen and helping out. It was like it was difficult, he got the book to the right area and the magic helped it to where it needed to go. Bran glanced as one of his classmates approached him and he gave a little smile, ”I don’t think there is a big collection, but there are some,” he knew that his dad did keep the library having muggle things partly because he knew the kids read it but also because of muggle studies. ”I can show you where it is?” he offered, more than willing to help this boy out and help him find his wand to the right section.​

Val was surprised to hear that the school library had some comic books. If he knew that he'd have probably visited the library much sooner. "Yeah, that would be great. Thanks." Val said gratefully. "Uh.. Do you work here?" He asked, the boy seemed to know a bit about the library. Then again, anyone who spent a lot of time at the library might know where the comic books were. He didn't know the school could hire students, though it did make sense.
