Night fell across the Forbidden Forest and the moon hung low in the starry sky.
A twig snapped in the darkness of the forest as a black boot stepped heavily upon it.
The person in the boots was hardly visible apart from her ghostly white face which seemed to paler every year.
Larissa held her black cloak tightly around her thin body. Her gaunt face peered around the trees before she paused, pulled out her wand and pointed it suddenly into the tree above. "Stupefy!" Larissa hissed, sending the spell into the tree.

Libby was half-asleep, perching in the tree where she used to visit last year. She found it calmer here, rather than having to mingle with everything going on recently. She was back on track of things now, and in just two months she would be 14. Libby's legs dangled over the side of the branch and she began to feel a presence through-out the forest. She heard a twig snap, as if broken by the suspense of something, or someone.

Libby leaned out of the tree to see a dark cloaked figure just below her. She kept very still and quiet. It couldn't be, could it? They wern't allowed in the grounds, at least thats what she thought. Suddenly there was a flash of light and with some cursed words libby found herself flat on the damp bark of the forest floor, staring up slowly at the figure.

Larissa placed her boot on Liberty's waist.
She sneered, her smile bright even in the moonlight, "Well, well, well," Larissa said, really enjoying this, "If it isn't miss Barnett." Larissa removed her slightly muddy boot and placed it back on the earth.
She smiled down at Libby. It had been so long since Larissa had had a chance like this..
Larissa walked from Liberty to a tree nearby where she set down her wand for a moment so she could remove the hood from her head, revealing her platinum blonde hair.
It wasn't straight for the time being but curled round and deadly.

Libby just sighed as Larissa attempted to control her, pushing her into the mud. She crossed her arms and legs uncaringly. When she took it off, and Libby heard who it was she got up quickly before she could do it again, "finished?" she said, brushing the dirt off. "What are you doing here then?" she asked, noticing her unusually styled hair.

Larissa turned to Liberty.
She smiled darkly. "Looking for a bit of fun.. At which point you happened to pop into my mind.. I did wonder if you'd still come here." Larissa noticed how dirty Libby's back was. She tutted and pointed her wand at Libby. "Scourgify." she said, clearing the dirt.
"Where's mudblood?" Larissa said, reffering to Robert.
She'd rather hoped that the note from 'Libby' would have reached him by now.
Larissa wanted them both here. Especially whence her wicked ways became so..

Libby simply shrugged, "Why should i know?" she asked, before walking back to the base of the tree. She wasn't going to be interupted if she could help it, especially if it was by someone or, something, trying to get at her again. She nodded as the dirt came off her clothes, she wasn't bothered about dirt but it always helped.

Larissa held up her wand in gest. "Accio Mudblood." she joked.
As expected, nothing happened. "So, I hear you and Jacob are no more? .. Do tell." Larissa perched on the base of a nearby tree, sitting lady like and waiting to hear the 'oh-so sad' story of Libby and Jacob's break-up.

Libby raised her eyebrows at Larissa, "and what other reason do you want to know about it, other from the fact you will tease me?" she asked, perching herself back onto the branch she was so comfortable in once before. "We broke up, that's about it. He sees no point in being friends ether" she said after a moment of pausing, as she tried to keep out all the details, something she wasn't particularly going to share with Larissa.

"No arguements, then?" Larissa asked, raising one eyebrow, a smile upon her face.
"And what about Darren? You two not together yet?" Larissa had been making the most of her reliable resource who happened to be the friend of a Hufflepuff..
"I was actually thinking of asking Robert out.." Larissa said, a serious look on her face.
She burst out laughing. "No, come on, Larissa, don't be mean to those who are born of the unworthy.." She sniggered to herself.

(ohh meerr ggawwd jakes online *runs for the shelters* no no arguments xD)

Libby shrugged again, she wasn't going to go into it now. "Me and Darren? I don't know. I mean, sure, would love to, but hey just have to see what happends" she said. She almost choked when Larissa said she would ask Robert out again. After all she did to him, did she seriously believe he'd take her back? She wouldn't say this, it may cause her death..

Larissa laughed as she saw Libby's expression in answer to her suggestion about Robert.
"No, of course I wouldn't want that filth back- I'm not looking but if I was I'd move onto bigger game.."
Larissa smiled. She had her eye on someone.. She was not telling them anything, of course, until the right opportunity arrose.. Which would probably be next year.

((Lol. Speaketh of the devil and thee shall summon he.. ooh, Jacob, if you're reading this, feel free to join :D ))

Libby wondered what Larissa meant. "So you will, or you won't, but pretend you will?" she asked. "And what do you man bigger game?" she was going to stand up for her friend, or at least she would if she wasn't balanced on a branch. "Who? Wha.." Larissa had confused her now.
