Name: Eurydice Nightray
Year: 3rd
Lesson #: 1

Third year was a little odd but exciting. This was the year that they all apparently shared classes now so she had options between sitting with her cousins, her friends, or her boyfriend. It was probably a good thing that she only had two classes this semester. She'd decided to drop everything else that she knew she wasn't ever going to do, or need ever. Professor Waldgrave's absence was surprising but at least they were going to be taught by Nox's mum which would be interesting. It was a little weird she supposed that they were studying creatures in Defense and it made her wonder if these creatures that they were studying were considered dark. They were after all studying Defense Against the Dark Arts. So perhaps they were indeed dark creatures. Werewolves. Apparently they belonged to that category. Which she supposed wasn't all that surprising considering how deadly the mindless creatures were during the full moon. As the class ended, Eury packed up her things and left the room, mulling over the topic in her head.

Name: Eurydice Nightray
Year: 3rd
Lesson #: 2

With Defense Against the Dark Arts being a class where all of her cousins were there, it was easy to get away from Sayuri to instead sit with William for a change. She listened as Professor Adler read out the questions and Eurydice took note of them and wrote down the answers. Whoever decided to ask if a werewolf could be kept as a pet, though was just plain stupid. They may be dark creatures once a month, but they were people the rest of the time. If Eury was asked, that person who asked was darker than werewolves. Eurydice’s quill stilled. She stared at her own handwriting for a moment before shaking her head and continuing on until the end of the class.

Name: Astrid Freecss
Year: 1st
Lesson #: 1

Astrid swayed into the classroom as if she'd wandered in completely by accident. She wondered if it was noticeable that she'd left her Gryffindor robes behind. It was so much easier to move around without it and considering they were learning Defense, well, it was prudent that she be able to move properly right? It was fine, she was wearing a Gryffindor tie and a bright red ribbon to signify her house. If the professor had said anything, Astrid didn't hear or paid attention, lost in her own world. In fact, she was pretty much not paying attention for most of the lesson. Well, she'd heard the professor's name but otherwise she was tapping her feet silently to a random beat. Even the mention of homework was completely lost to her. Oh well. She did hum questioningly when people started to stand and leave. Was the lesson over already? Huh. That was fast. Oh well.

She did eventually find out about the homework.
Is it still illegal if I cast a mildly horrible spell and then say IT'S A PRAAAANK?

Name: Sayuri Edogawa
Year: 3rd
Lesson #: 2,1

Sayuri went to class and listened to the professor talk about werewolves. She thought some of the questions were stupid. And the others could be answered if her classmates just opened their books. Still she took notes until they could leave.

Sayuri was just glad they didn't have Waldgrave this year. Still she had doubts about this new professor especially since she heard that this was the cockroach's mother. She heard from Hinata though that the father wasn't bad so maybe there was hope yet. She wrote down her question about werewolves before leaving the class.

Name: Jonah Edogawa
Year: 3rd
Lesson #: 2, 3

Jonah went to class and listened to Lumos' mom talk about werewolves. He understood the lesson.
Jonah hated this class. He didn't want to know what his boggart was and seeing a Lumos-ghost wasn't really something he needed.

Facing her boggart was both simultaneously something Sayuri was looking forward to and not. She was disinterested when she saw the ghost of the cockroach come out of the wardrobe. Maybe it won't be that bad.
