((Yellow rose for Nicole Fisk, open after Kris))

Amy hadn't really hung out at the other house tables much, so it felt weird to be looking for someone at the Slytherin table. She wasn't great at meeting the younger students, but she knew some of them by name. Nicole Fisk had a familiar ring to it, but she couldn't think why. Looking for the girl, Amy asked someone,"Excuse me, have you seen Nicole Fisk here? I have a rose for her."

Nicole perked up immediately when she heard someone say her name. She'd been hyper alert since roses had started being handed out, trying to catch the eye of any deliverer in the hopes that they might be looking for her. "That's me, I'm Nicole," She said, waving a hand before getting up and heading over to the girl with the roses. "Yay!"

Amy smiled at the younger girl. She realised why she knew the name, remembering her from the sorting at the start of the school year."Here you go!" she said, handing the girl her rose.

HI YOU RULE
THANKS FOR BEING MY FRIEND

EMMA

"Awesome, thanks!" Nicole said, excitedly taking the rose and note. It was from Emma which was sweet, and Nicole carefully folded the note to put it in her pocket. "So is it fun delivering stuff all day?" She asked, taking a moment to surreptitiously smell her pretty new rose.

Amy nodded."This is my first year doing it, so it's been even more fun!" She was pleased to see that Nicole was happy with her rose. She remembered how fun it was to receive roses, especially in her first year."But it's also lots of fun to receive the roses too."

Nicole nodded enthusiastically, twirling the rose in her fingers. "I thought about signing up, but you've got to run all over the school and stuff, that seems like a lot," She said with a little laugh. Nicole didn't quite want to admit she also didn't like the idea of having to awkward talk to bunch of strangers. "Did you get any roses yet?"

Amy laughed."Yes, it's been a little tiring, but also fun." She shook her head."I haven't gotten any this year, but I did get a few last year." It had been fun as a first year to get a couple of roses from new friends."Getting roses as a first year is always fun!"

"So fun," Nicole said empathetically, trying not to frown when the girl said she hadn't gotten any roses yet. "Maybe there's still some coming your way, you guys should get one just for delivering at least," She said pensively. "What's your name?" Nicole figured maybe she'd have to send the girl a rose next year, as long as she didn't forget. Sending them was almost (but not quite) as fun as getting them.

Amy grinned."Getting a rose for delivering could be fun." She didn't think it would be as fun as someone sending one to you, but it would still be nice."I'm Amy. What's your name?" Amy hadn't sent any roses before, but felt that she should the following year. It would be nice to send some to the younger students she had met.

Nicole nodded more at her own idea. "You guys should at least get something for running all over the school, it's very nice of you all," She said, smiling at the girl. It'd be nice to be friends with an older student. Just having her big sister in Heta Omega already made Nicole feel a bit cooler, so having a regular friend who was a bit older was exciting too. Nicole was probably not even that much younger than Amy too. "Nice to meet you, Amy, thank you again for the rose," She said, taking another fond sniff of her new rose. "Oh, I'm Nicole, remember." She said, trying not to laugh, considering Amy had been calling her name not too long ago. She hoped Amy was just being polite, and not that Nicole was just that forgettable to an older student.

Amy started to turn red."Whoops, haha, sorry." Nicole was right, she had been calling her name before."I'm hopeless with remembering names, so I apologise." Amy felt bad that she had forgotten about calling Nicole's name, but she pushed that thought out of her head. The younger girl seemed okay with it though, which was reliving for her."Speaking of names, I feel like I've seen your name somewhere else before. Are you in any clubs? Maybe I've seen it on a list somewhere."
