Nyssa was finally all settled into her new apartment so this was the first weekend she was free to do whatever she liked. She still didn't have many friends in the city and hadn't gotten really close to any of her new co-workers yet, so she didn't have many plans yet. So Nyssa decided to catch up on her research even if she was off the clock. She decided to take a trip to the public library they had in town to see if it could offer a bit of local history. Except the only problem now that she was walking down the street was that she couldn't find the library. She thought perhaps she had passed it, but when she looked for the building again, she couldn't find it. She didn't know if maybe it required a password or a tap of her wand or something to reveal itself but she couldn't find it anywhere and had soon wandered off to a different street to see if perhaps she had simply gotten the address wrong. But the fact of the matter was she was lost. Instead of wasting her time, Nyssa decided to stop the first person she saw walking her way and said, "Um, excuse me, could you possibly help me? I'm a bit lost."

Landon was more than ready for the holidays, despite how much he enjoyed his job. He hadn't seen Tess in a very long time and wondered if they were even going to be meeting up any time soon. The man didn't really like being alone after such a long time and he knew it wouldn't be long before he wanted to get back to work in an enjoyable environment. For now, Landon decided he would make the most of his time off and headed to Brightstone Village for a small shopping trip to get anything he might need for the upcoming year. As he headed down the street, he smiled at all of the passerbys and looked through all of the shop windows. If there was one thing he definitely needed it were muggle pencils, but they didn't sell them in Brightstone and so Landon put them at the back of his mind as he browsed, not planning to stay there very long. As a distressed lady began to walk up to him, Landon listened as she explained that she was lost. "Of course I can help you!" he explained, more than eager to help her find her way. "What is it you are looking for?"

Nyssa smiled when the man she stopped was willing to help her and sighed gratefully as she brushed her bangs across her forehead. "Thank you!" she said prematurely, already thanking him simply for being nice enough not to dismiss her as many were prone to do since they were in a hurry. "I'm looking for the local library but I can't seem to find it," she said looking down at the scrap piece of parchment on which she had written the address. "I just moved here so I don't know my way around yet," she explained with a shy smile.
