With Patrick being at Hogwarts, the boy was starting to feel quite lonely. He didn't realise how much he would miss his sister being there, and with him having not made many friends yet, the boy did feel slightly alienated. His step-sister wasn't exactly the best company and the two had not even spoken in a while and Patrick wondered how long that would last. He figured that she perhaps liked where she was and was making too many friends there to have to worry about him and the thought of that made him slightly disappointed. After all, Ana had been Patrick's friend for most of his life, even if she wasn't the best friend someone could have. The boy sat in the corner of the owlery attempting to write a letter to his family back home. He scribbled away, trying not to get too many ink blotches all over the page so it could be deciphered, writing about his time at Hogwarts so far and wondering how his two half-brothers were going. The boy knew his sister was engaged now and asked how that was going for her too, very much enjoying writing a letter that would hopefully make his family smile.

Zennon had not been having any luck with finding his target, yet he knew he did not have long. Sighing as he continued up the stairs to the Owlery, Zennon was shocked and surprised when he came immediately upon the very person he had been looking for! Quickly looking around for Merlin, Zennon noted his absence and headed over to his target. "Hi! I'm Zennon!" He said as he pulled out his wand. "Lumos!" He moved to poke Patrick with his wand and complete the assassination.

Patrick jumped when he noticed the presence of another student, spilling his bottle of ink all over the piece of parchment he was writing on. When he realised what was happening, the boy quickly stood up and started to run, tripping over an empty owl cage as he left his shattered ink bottle and piece of parchment on the other side of the room. With red cheeks, Patrick stood up and brushed off his robes. "Erm, I'm sorry." he said, not able to look at the boy in the face. At least he managed to dodge his spell.
