Estrella and Liz zoomed through the night skies on their Firebolts, unsure of location or direction. Estrella could see the many lights of the Twin Cities below her, and she wondered out loud, “What in the world are we going to do?”

Liz bit her lip. "Well..." she began, "First of all, we need a safe place. Then you can help me get a clue of what's going on." she thought for a moment, as they flew.

"My grandparent's manor in London!" she announced. "Grandmother Narcissa has always been sweet, baking cookies and such. Grandfather is also kind- he used to give me pointers in quidditch. Not to mention, they're pretty secretive and keep to themselves. It should give us some time to think, and help come up with something that you can do about that man."

"Not to sound rude or anything," Estrella said with a doubtful expression, "But Britain happens to be halfway across the U.S. and all the way over the Atlantic Ocean."

Liz smiled. “Haven’t you heard of the Magical International Air Transport, aka MIAT? Those with magic in their blood can use it.” Seeing that Estrella was still confused, she continued, “It’s like an airport for muggles. For a price, they can transport you to any base that you desire!”

Estrella shrugged her shoulders. MIAT must be new, because she had never heard of it before. Of course, she had lived with muggles for ten years...
"So, where are these places?" she asked interestedly.

They flew east through the clouds, which were wet and quite chilly, Estrella’s owl Harper hooting in dismay, as her feathers were getting wet. The owl instead perched on the tip of her broomstick, right next to her hands.

Upon getting closer, Estrella could see the picture in the signal, kind of like a Batman thing; it was a broomstick crossed with a feather. Quite simple, she thought. Aligned with the searchlight, they descended upon the airport, which was located in the middle of nowhere, in a corn field, unbeknownst to the surrounding muggles.

The airport was a nearly abandoned shack, seemingly ready to fall apart. A young man, obviously just out of school and suffering from an outbreak of acne, signaled them to walk over to it. Carrying their broomsticks and their trunks, Estrella and Liz strode over, to where he eyed them in disbelief.

“Aren’t you two students a little young to be traveling alone at this hour of the night?” he muttered inquisitively and with a snort.

Liz was getting stressed. Estrella had been through enough with Rose dying, and now this man chasing them out of her house? Kind of... he had tried to grab her broom. That just worried Liz more.

He was quite taken aback when Liz said in quite a bit of a terse tone "What's the difference to you? The galleons go in your hand, either way."

“That’ll be twenty galleons, for the both of you together,” he replied, quite miffed.

Both disgruntled at the obvious ripoff but just wanting to get out of there, Estrella and Liz both produced ten galleons from their cloaks and handed them over to the gross employee. “Travelers for East London, please step into that circle along with all of your possessions.”

Liz and Estrella did as they were told, stepping into a rather conspicuous blue ring, that shone just a bit. Pulling back on a rusty lever right next to it, the attendant drawled, “East London,” and in a rush Liz and Estrella were whisked through the portal, the feeling like that of using a portkey.

Estrella was quite glad when it was over, and she and Liz both fell over in a blue circle identical to the other one, but now their surroundings had changed. Instead, they were in a clearing of a small woodland, and a female attendant, quite tired from the night shift, announced, “You have arrived in East London.” The sun was peeking out over the trees, and with a word of thanks, Estrella and Liz flew off. Estrella was now under Liz’s lead now, as she had not been in Britain for ten years and had no idea where Malfoy Manor was.

Liz lifted up on her broom, along with Estrella. "Alright, we should be there in no time..." she smiled at Estrella, trying to share some comfort.

Kicking off on her broom, with Harper in tow, Estrella and Liz ascended to the clouds once more, as they couldn't risk any early rising muggles to see them. The ministry would be on their butts if they did. Yawning, Estrella said sleepily, "I can't wait to get a nap.."
