Sara walked up the long, steep flight of stairs to the owlery, she had prepared a letter to her mother with Kate earlier, she had a letter and Kate had a letter. Kate was meant to be there waiting, so they could send them together. Sara reached the top of the stairs, and entered the owlery through the narrow doorway. "Kate!" she called, but only her own voice reverberated back in reply. Kate wasn't here yet. Sara sat down on the windowsill, and waited for her sister.

Kate walked up the steps to the owlery it was a cold and frosty morning and she shivered in the cold.She and her sister had wrote a letter each to their mother and they had agreed to to met in the owlery but Kate being Kate had been late she ran the rest of the stairs she entered the owlery and saw her sister Sara sitting on the windowsill "Hi Sara"Kate said running over to hug her sister "How have you been I haven't seen you in ages"Kate said
 
"Hey Kate." Sara replied, hugging her sister. Her and Kate hadn't been hanging out much recently, they were still close, but Sara was glad to have even a small chance to see her sister. "Have you got your letter?" she asked, holding out her own. "Shall I read it to you?" she began reading.

Dear Mum.

How is home-life treating you?
I miss you all terribly! How are Star and Ryan? Are they making friends in England? Has Dad sorted everything out with the manor? I have a lot of questions. So, is everything okay? I wonder how do you cope, with such change. Dad seems to be taking it all in his stride, but you don't talk much...

Have you ever noticed that when you don't know what to write, you write "dot, dot, dot" ??

So, things here are great, I've made lots of friends. Yesterday Shiloh, Kayden and I went taking pictures.
I've got a new room-mate-you remeber Amanda, the girl I told you about?

Sophie Moon is what you can describe as a mother who's very protective of her kids though she's also the type of mother who wouldn't say much. She's always been the voice of reason inside the Moon's household, she's a calm, caring, and loving mom as the others would say, though aside from that, not everyone knows it, but Sophie Moon is a mother who would totally care about what's happening to her kids' lives, espicially Sara's and Kt's since they were studying far from her.

Finishing with her chores and her cleanings of the enormous Moon's household which her husband had just inherited, Sophie Moon went up to the bedroom which she shares with her husband who is now at work. They are both teachers, muggle teachers at that. It was a wonder actually as to how her kids became magical when she and her hisband are non-magical folks. Nevertheless, Sophie was happy for her children seeing as how happy they were for being witches and wizards.

Arranging her things on her desk, Sophie was a bit startled when an owl flew through her window and landed with a soft thud on their bed. She had never been used to that kind of mail service no matter how many times she had seen it. walking cautiously towards the owl, Sophie untied the letters on its feet. A warm smile crept to her face when she saw who it came from. It was from her twins. Sophie was delighted to hear from them.

Sitting down on her chair, Sophie began reading the letter, and after doing so, she bagan to compose her own. She had a lot of things to say, though she wasn't quite sure how to write all of them
Dear Sara

How are you my dear? How's school? i miss you terribly as well, and ofcourse, you're dad too.. you know what's he's like whenever you're not home. I do hope that you and Kate are doing great there.

Ryan and Star are doing fine, Ryan seemed to be excited to go there as well, might I remind you, do take care of him once his there already. i'm really proud of you all.

Everything's been sorted out here, I've been adapting to the change though it is really quite a shock for me, now you know what it's like to have your life suddenly changing. but nevertheless, I'm happy since your future is secured.

Kayden is a boy right? Let's see what your father would think of that.. anyways, I would love to see the pictures that you were talking about. And with Amanda, say my greetings for her.

Being satisfied with her letter, Sophie took out another paper and started to write one for her other daughter Kate. It would be weird if you write only one letter for the twin right? So starting of once again, Sophie thinks about the things that she would say to her daughter.
Kate,

We're doing fine here. How are you dear? I hope that you are doing great. And ofcourse, I do miss you as well, so much actually, I haven't seen you for months already. When would you come home? I'm sure your dad will make a welcome party.

So you have a new room mate as well? Give her my regards, and Kate, I do hope that you'll become great friends. Be very good huh?

That's news to me, what happened to them? It's such a waste that they're breaking up...

Finishing all of her letters, Sophie stood up and tied them to the owl, wishing that her daughters would write back soon to her.
 
Kate came back to the owlery after dinner she had agreed again to meet Sara there when she arrived Sara wasn't there yet she smiled he sister couldn't tease her about being late.She looked around and smiled she saw her owl with two letters tied onto his legs she went over and untied them both she gave the owl some nuts and water.She opened her letter and read it she got out some and a quill out of her bag she sat down on the windowsill and began to write

Dear Mum

Its great to hear ye are all doing well I can't wait for Ryan and Star to arrive I miss them greatly.The summer holidays aren't two far away is it okay if some people come over?

I will she is so nice.My two best friends so far are Alexia and Stefan strangly they are both completely different to my type of friends in school.Everyone is so nice here I'm sure Ryan and Star will do well.

I know it is an awful shame they seemed to be getting on so well!

Say to the others how much I miss them and I can't wait to see ye at the summer holidays!!

Sara ran up the steps, to meet her sister. "I'm...sorry....I'm....late!" she panted, when she reached the top. "I've got my letter!" she added. Her sister and her had read their letters together earlier. Maia walked up toward her owl-Shade. "I'm so glad Michael gave me Shade." she sighed, as she stroked the birds wings. Then, she tied her letter to his leg

Dear Mam,


School is great, and I'm fine. Kate and I noticed that you only told me to be careful- I wonder if that means anything..-I'm joking, don't worry. Wait 'till you hear how many rules I broke at the start of the year!

So, Dad must be tearing his hair out, with us over here-in the wilderness, surrounded by boys! Very funny!

My future is secure-I hadn't a clue! Hmm, quite disapointing, I thought I was a quite insecure, unreliable person-however, many people have told me otherwise...

Yes, Kayden is a boy, but in all honesty- I'm eleven, not really going down that road Mam. I will send you the pictures in my next letter, as they are not printed yet.

Of course I'll take care of Ryan, and Star! They're my brother and sister, though I'd say they'll be fine. We're hardy us Moons!

I'll see you soon, and by the way Kate is thinking of organising a house-warming party, when we come home-just to warn you.

Sophie had been really looking forward for the replies of her daughters to the letter that she had sent a few days ago. She had really missed them especially since she had no clue as to what they were doing in their new school, a school full of magical beings, because she, and her husband, they were what the others called, muggles, they are non-magical.

Placing her hands on the windows, Sophie look out for any familiar sign of a large owl which had become their mail carrier, pretty unusual for the world where she was living but was actually pretty common for her kids and their folks. A genuine smile escaped her lips when she saw the owl which must be carrying her daughter's response to her letters. Stepping aside to let the bird in, Sophie waited a few minutes before approaching and taking the letters from the owl's legs.

Sitting on the bed, Sophie bagan to read her daughters' letters, tears were almost finding it's way out of her eyes, but she decided not to cry. She knows pretty well that her kids were enjoying and that they were on safe hands.

After reading the letter, Sophie took out two separate sheets of paper and started to write her letters.
Dear,

It's great to hear that you are fine, I'm really happy to hear that. Well, when I said that you should be careful, I am pretty sure that you already knows what that means, it's noit that I am implying anything, I repeat it once again, be careful honey.

you broke some rules? Now dear, be well behaved, I don't want to hear some news that you've gotten yourself in big trouble... really dear..

Your dad, you know what he's like, you'll never hear the end of his speech, especially since he knows that fact that there were lots of boys in your school, and you are also staying there for a long time.. I don't know what will happen when Star and Ryan go there as well.

Well, if Kayden is a nice and kind boy, then it's alright, don't mind what your father will say. Just tell us when you've decided to take down that road already, your father might die because of shock if we hear it from someone else.

Yes, the pictures, I pretty fancy the way the pictures from your world moves, it's pretty amazing, I wonder how it does that.

I'm sure you're enjoying there, and I am entrusting Star and Ryan to the both of you, be good.

After writing Sara' letter, Sophie moved on to her letter for her daughter Kate.
Dear Kate,

Sara's told me that you'll be organizing a party, that would be great, I'll tell your father about that. Are your friends coming too? It would be great if they do, everyone's welcome here at our home.

Stefan's a boy too, isn't he? Just like your sister's friend Kayden, right? Well, I do hope that you'll get along, bring him here, and Alexia as well if you will. I'll bake some cakes and cookies once you come home.

It's great that everyone there is so nice. Are there any bullies? If there is, do tell me. Your mum's a teacher, I know what it's like in school be it a magical or a non-magical one.

Yes, it's an awful thing, that that had happened between the two of them, and her I thought that they were doing just fine. Give my regards to the both of them and tell them that if they have time, do visit the house as well.

I cannot wait to see you as well dear, we have a lot of things to catch up too. And sice Sara had reminded me that I haven't told you to be careful, I'll say it now. Be very careful Kate, though I'm quite sure that you are fully capable of taking care of yourself. Careful dear.

After finishing the letters, Sophie tied the both of them to Owl's leg, watching as the owl flew away from her, and her house.
 
Sara ran up the tower's steps, determined to beat her sister this time. When she reached the top, she ran, and jumped to sit on the windowsill. She gave her letter a last read, and decided it would do. She sat and waited for her sister, while reading through the letter and looking at her pictures.
Dear Mam,

Of course I'll be careful, I was raised by you and Dad wasn't I? How could I not be careful? All the same, Hogwarts is very safe, I don't think we could get hurt if we tried..well, unless we jumped off the cliff...

I'm not in any trouble Mam, the worst I've done, is sneak out when i'm not meant to and go into the "Forbidden forest" It's not that bad really.

Sure, when Ryan's here-all the girls will love him, we'll be the wonderful Moons. Ryan and I will be breaking rules, testing the boundaries-while our twins are the sensible one's who will tell us not to and inevitably Star and Kate will be right!

Ha, I'd love to see that! Can you just imagine Dad's face. "Oh, and by the way, your daughter has a boyfriend." He'd turn all red!

Unfortunately, I don't know the spell to make pictures move. I took them with my old-fashioned photography camera, that I got for a birthday one year. Well, here they are

Kate ran up the steps of the owlery she couldn't wait to read the reply she rsn through the doorway and she saw Sara sitting on the windowsill "Hey Sara"She said smiling and hugging her sister.She walked over and read the reply her mother sent her she smiled.She started to write her new letter

Well I'll try to organise a party.And is it okay if all are friends come?we do live in a huge manor now!

Kate showed Sara her letter when she was finished she walked over and tied her letter to shade "They are nice pictures"Kate said "I think you like Kayden" .Kate teased not sure if she right or wrong."Same time tomorrow!I'll beat you tomorrow"Kate said smiling
 
Sophie went to her usual spot by the window after finishing her lesson plan for her work for the next day, she's been planning to have her students do some out of school activities. She loved her career so much and she would actually want her students to enjoy her teaching as well.

Looking wistfully at the sky, Sophie waited for the owl which will bring her daughters' letters to her. They had been fully in touch with each other for quite sometime, something that makes Sophie's day really complete. She's been actually contemplating whether she should tell her husband to write some letter for their kids as well, it would be great if her daughters would here from their father.

A familiar smile appeared on Sophie's face when she saw the same owl which brings the usual letters flying to their house, and as usual, she stepped aside to let the owl in. Sitting down on the bed once again, Sophie began to read her daughters' letters, after reading and rereading it time and time again, Sophie decided to do her response.
Dear Sara,

Well dear, I would believe you since you said that you'll be careful, just promise that you won't get into any serious trouble alright? If you do, I don't know how your father would react on that..So there's a cliff there? That would be dangerous dear, stay away from that place if you can.

Dear, that's why it's called forbidden, you shouldn't go there, but what can I do, I'm not there to stop you am I? SO just tell me about this crazy adventure of yours if you have time.

Ryan's pretty much popular with the ladies here already, what more when he's there? Anyway, like what I said, don't get yourself into any serious trouble. I guess I'll talk to that Kayden to keep an eye on you.. just kidding dear, I'm being very protective, am I not?

Yes, and I'm pretty sure that it will be bad for his blood pressure, for me as well you know. Just tell us alright. I'll help you with your father if you want. But since you're too young yet, I don't think that he'll approve. But don't mind him. Mum's here to support you.

I've seen the pictures dear, it's alright even if they're not moving, at least I can display it in our house. So, as I've seen, Kayden does look nice. He's pretty good looking. You can bring him here if you want since Kate would be holding a party. DO bring your other friends as well.

Sophie had a smile when she finished her letter for Sara, she had a hunch that her daughter liked the boy Kayden, and she's pretty much rooting for them. Folding the letter, Sophie started to work on Kate's.
Dear Kate,

I'll help you with the party if you would like. The manor's too big to handle it on your own. And of course dear, you can bring as many of your friends as you like, and of course, do bring Stefan and Alexia alright?

Yes, I'm trying to make a chiffon cake as well dear, I'm sure you'll love it. Stefan's a boy? So, is he nice then? If he is, then it's good.

So there's someone out there who's being on an argument with you? I do believe that you can sort out your problems pretty well, since I know that you are pretty much level headed. Anyway, if you need help with sorting that girl out, just tell your mum. I'll know what to do.

Yes, tell him I would want to have a talk with him, but don't make it look like I am going to reprimand him or anything. Just a casual talk.

I know that you're fully capable of taking care of yourself, but anyway, look out for your twin. She's told me that she's breaking out a few rules.

Finishing all her letters, Sophie let the owl flew and travel it's way to her daughters as she began to make her way downstairs and talk to her other children.
 
Sara ran up the steps, early once more, hoping against hope that her sister wouldn't be there. "Hey Kate!" she called, hoping she was the first ther. She then ran into the owlery and sat on her usual perch on the windowsill. She once more read through her letter to her mother. Kate was right about Sara liking Kayden, unfortunately Sara didn't know she liked him yet.

Aww Mam! Anyway, I'msure I'm safe. I'm sure there are enchantments on the cliffs so that if you fall you'll be okay. The place would be crowded with adults complaining about the safety of their children.

Well, I went reading near the forest, and I saw a boy called Gilbert Williams, going into the forest. I went in with him, and we climbed trees and searched for centaurs, for ages! It was really fun!

GO RYAN!! I see that Ryan is just as cool as I hoped he would be!! Soooo cool!!

Kate ran up the stairs to the owlery she was getting fitter everyday because of these steps she heard her name being called as she was at the top "I'm here"She shouted into Sara she walked in and saw Sara in her usual seat she saw the owl again and went to retreive her letter she untied the string and read it.She got out her quill and paper and started to write

Sophie, once again, had entered their bedroom once she was done with her works. Sitting on her usual place once again, she waited until the familiar owl from her daughters would appear and bring her her daughters' letters. When she saw the owl once again, like what she usually does, she stepped aside, let the owl in, untie the letter, and read her daughters' letters.

After reading all the letters, Sophie began to compose her own.
Dear Sara,

I have noticed that as well dear, nevertheless though, it's fine with me, so long as you two won't call me ridiculous and stupid names alright?

Well, you know I'm just making sure that you are indeed on safe hands, anyways, I haven't heard any bad news about that place, so I think I can be rest assured that you're safe there.

Oh dear, don't go around coming with every random stranger that you see. Anyways, I'm perfectly sure that you can protect yourself anyway, but still, like I always say, be careful.

Well, Ryan's the only boy in the family, of course aside from your father, I think he'll do perfectly fine. He's growing up to be a very fine young man after all.

Sara ran up the tower, she had been talking to Amanda and hadn't realised how late she was, but luckily Kate wasn't there yet. Sara sat on her perch and began singing one of her favourite songs "Mine" by taylor Swift. She took out her letter and read through it. She knew she had told her mother that she would tell her if she liked someone, but she would never tell her Father. She was Irish and there, there was a big-deal about liking someone. She read through her letter once more.

Of course I won't call you stupid names, most elegant, and royal maternal figure.

I'm sure I will, and even if something happens-you'll always have Kate, Ryan and Star.

Mam, the boy is eleven years old-not exactly dangerous?

Kate ran up the stairs to the owlery.she was late so she was running a bit faster so when she got up to the top of the stairs she was panting a lot.Before she walked in to the owlery she heard her singing te song Mine by Taylor Swift she decided to join in she started singing before she entered the room when she did she saw Sara sitting in her usual perch on the window sill "Hey Sara nice singng though you were a bit flat"Kate said smiling of course she hadn't but Kate just liked correcting her sister. "Okay lets see your letter"she said taking the letter off Sara she smiled "There is nothing wrong with saying "Mom"Kate said pretending to be insulted she walked over to the owl and read her letter from her she smiled when she read it she began to write her

Sophie had quickly went to their bedroom to await the arrival of the owl who brings the responses of her daughters to her letters. Everyday, she would wait in her usual spot, looking out in the sky for the familiar bird to swoop down inside their house and bring her precious daughters' letters. The recent days had been great for her, she had been connected with her children who are pretty much living away from them. She couldn't help but miss them more, but at least, through the letters, she would know that her daughters were entirely safe.

Once the owl arrived, Sophie began doing her usual routine. She getting used to the owl mail even though the first time that she had one, she was very wary of it. Now though, she would give the owl some food and water while reading her daughters' letters and composing her own.
Dear,

I know that you won't do that dear, I'm just reminding you.

Well, it wouldn't be the same if you weren't there, you're a daughter who always tends to be in trouble but you must know how much we care for you, do us a favor and stay safe alright?

Even so Dear, even kids are pretty dangerous these day, there are bullies everywhere you know, lately, I've been busy with dealing with them, teaching is really hard but I really love my profession. Even when our lifestyle had completely changed, I don't think that I could give that up.

You should be proud of him, the two of you are so much a like after all, is he writing letters to you as well?

When Sophie read Kate's letter, she couldn't help but wonder who the Danielle is that she was talking about. Her son haven't told her about that at all. With curiosity overwhelming her, Sophie began to write a response to Kate's letter

Guess what we will be coming home the day after our birthday!The End of Year Feast is the same day as our birthday!

Sophie read the letters that her daughters had sent to her. It has become a part of her daily routine. Every time that she's done with her work, she would directly o to her room and wait for the owl mail to come. She really misses her daughters so much that she was already counting the days before they would return.

Oh, that's too bad dear, and I was here hoping that you'll celebrate your birthday with us...Nevertheless, we can still celebrate it once you've come home.. Be happy on that special day alright?

Well, I don't really mind how you would organize the party, I completely put my trust on you girls, you're perfectly capable of organizing one after all, but if you need help, I'm willing to give that.

Well, about the girl, then I probably have to talk to Ryan right? I'm hoping to see what the girl is like.

About Michael, I was about to meet him, I'll probably talk to him about his transfer here as well as their break-up if I can.

I see, about Ryan, there seems to be a girl that he like, as I had figued from Kate's letter, do you happen to know her?

Sara ran up to the tower, excited about her letter from her mum, it was really nice. She sat in her ussual perch and attached her letter to Shade's leg. She then waited for Kate to arrive.

Dear Mam,

If you knew how much of a know-it-all I can be in class you'd disagree. I tend to argue with the teachers when I think they're wrong.

Maybe I know of her, maybe I don't? Don't worry about Ryan-he's a smart guy.

Thank's Mam, I will enjoy my birthday. Kate and I are having an Irish-style ceili on the great lawn. We're having it at sunset. We're going to teach them hurling, gaeilic and Irish dancing. I(t should be great.
