Faxen Lowart walked into the student lounge with a smile on her face at the memory of her favorite person at Hogwarts as she tossed her books down on the table. Down she sank into the plush, comfy couch. Faxen tugged at her red uniform skirt and straightened the prefect badge she was wearing on her white blouse. The sixteen year old propped her feet up on the table. The slender brunette had just left her last lesson of the day where she had gotten to see Dymetris. They sat next to each other in class, passing a note back and forth between the two of them without getting caught by Professor Black. The lesson had been interesting enough but Faxen was much more interested in her part veela best friend. Since that day out on the cliffs one week ago, the Gryffindor hadn't been able to get the Hufflepuff out of her mind. Their friendship had always been exciting, enticing, and enchanting. Only now, there was something more. Secrecy and desire accompanied their new relationship.

As much as Faxen just wanted to sit here and daydream about Dymetris, she had transfiguration homework that she intended to finish before she went to meet Dymetris later that night. The beauty really did care about doing well at Hogwarts despite her nonchalant attitude about it. The Gryffindor girl always did her all of her classwork and fared decently on her exams. Obviously Professor Kingsley had seen her achievement and potential since she had been promoted to Prefect at the beginning of this year. Faxen reached for her parchment, getting her white feather quill, and her transfiguration book. Faxen tucked a loose strand of dark brown hair behind her ear. The Gryffindor began her work, finding it very difficult to concentrate on her work. Her mind kept drifting to the boy who had been her best friend but was now something more than that. Faxen hadn't exactly figured out what there was between them, but she knew it wasn't going away.

Sara was bored. She enjoyed school, well enough. It wasn't the way muggle school was. A lot of it was practical, and she enjoyed learning about magic, because it was unexplainable and there was no logical reason for it. She smiled to herself. she'd had two practical classes today, so there was no homework, but she wanted to practice the confundus charm. Unfortunately, there was nobody to practice with. She walked into the student lounge, her walk light and happy, she was almost skipping. She had nothing to do, which sucked, but she could find someone to talk to, maybe Stefan or Tara. She hadn't seen Willow in a wile, and se was one of her best friends on earth. She'd looked for Willow already though, and asked some Gryffindor's to check the common room, but she wasn't there. She took out the book she'd brought with her, and sat down on the windowsill. It was the perfect place to sit. Her mind cast back to the day when she'd sat on the outside of a windowsill with Dante. That had been a fun day. She hadn't seen him lately either-or Jake. then again, she'd been busy, with the tests last term, and her new timetable. She'd have to make more time for her friends.

There was alreay a girl in the lounge, she looked a bit older than Sara. "Hey." she greeted, as she opened her book. She recognised the girl from around the school, but they'd never talked before, still she seemed to be working, so she probably wouldn't be interested in a chat.

Faxen noticed the younger Ravenclaw come into the room, but she was intent on getting her work completed in the hopes of seeing Dymetris later. Faxi was a prefect. She wanted to keep in that way. In fact, the Gryffindor had aspirations of becoming Head Girl when she got to her seventh year. It was an honor that she would really love to have. However, she knew that the competition for the prestigious title was very intense. If Faxen wanted that position, she had to get excellent grades and keep herself out of trouble with Professor Kingsley.

The Ravenclaw girl was vaguely familiar to Faxen, though they had never directly talked. Faxen believed that she was a year or so younger than herself. However, Faxen put down her book when the girl said hello to her. Faxen was not one to be rude. In fact, she had always been quite friendly. The Gryffindor prefect smiled back at the girl. "Hello." she said cordially. "How are you?" she asked in an attempt to make polite conversation.

Sorry for the lameness of my post

Sara smiled back at the girl, she was busy working, but it was nice of her to greet her. She was wearing a prefect badge, Sara hoped against hope that she could be a prefect one day, he knew she'd have to work hard for it. "Fine, and you?" she replied, turning to face her. "Sara Moon." she introduced herself, her book set on her lap. "I hope I'm not disturbing your work." she added, knowing it seemed kind of rude to be barging in on her. She was incredibly bored at the moment, she had no one to hang out with, everyone was so busy lately, herself included.

"So, what are you up to?" she asked, her head tilted to one side. She realised that the girl might be busy, and if she was doing homework, she'd leave her alone. She knew how hard it was to concentrate with someone talking to her, she needed background noise when she was working, but someone talking directly to her just confused her and got on her nerves.

Same :/

"I'm doing well, thank you. Just thought I would go ahead and get my homework out of the way." the Gryffindor said with a shrug of her shoulders. She wanted to get it done, but she didn't mind getting to know someone new instead. Faxen smiled at the girl who introduced herself as Sara Moon. "It's nice to meet you Sara." she said with sincerity in her voice. Despite what Faxen was doing with Dymetris, she was a nice, friendly person who usually did the right thing. But the Hufflepuff veela boy was her own personal drug. She couldn't stay away from him.

Faxen grinned at Sara as she closed her book. "Well I was studying for class tomorrow. Only because I didn't have anything better to do until later tonight. It's pretty dull around here in the afternoons." she said, telling a small white lie. Faxen didn't want Sara to feel like she was interrupting her. "What about you?" she asked in return.
