Open Last Best

Therese had put on a long red dress and had saved this for her last dance. She was glad her mother had found this and they bought it together a while ago. Therese would have her last yule ball and that kind of made her sad. Perhaps it was stupid that she would be sad of such a thing, but she had enjoyed her time so well here and with Leif she would dance. And Therese just didn't knew if this would be their last dance. She liked Leif, but how would their lives be together? She would play quidditch and perhaps even move away from Sweden. The brunette walked towards the Great Hall and smiled as Leif walked alongside her. She hold his hand and looked around. Therese felt a sad feeling squeezed his hand for a moment and than looked at Leif. '' This is actually the last. It makes me sad. But I don't want to be.'' She than spoke to him. Thersese looked around to the people. She hoped everyone would have a great evening and she would sure have a dance with Leif. Or two or more.

Leif had always figured things like the Yule Ball were far more easy for guys than they were for girls. They just put on a suit and things would be fine, whilst girls often went through a lot more trouble. He had never thought that Therese needed to put in much work, as she pretty much looked beautiful all of the time. At least to him, but he was sure others would've noticed as well. When she had walked out in that red dress though, he had been at a loss for words. "You look.. stunning." He smiled as he took her hand and they made their way into the great hall. The boy turned to look at his girlfriend as she squeezed his hand. He had hoped this conversation could've been skipped, because he didn't want to think about how this year would be the last time for a lot of things they did at the school. "Then don't be sad." He replied as he looked at her. "Let's just make this the best one yet." ​

Therese was glad when Leif said she looked pretty. He was so sweet to her and she liked spending time with him. He was completely right. But it was harder to not think of it. Easier said than done, but she would regret it if she would not enjoy this evening together. '' You are right. You usually are. Let's do that.'' Therese than said with a smile and put a kiss on his cheek. She wanted to dance and that was what they would gonna do. '' Shall we dance?'' She than said and let go his hand for a moment before walking to the dancefloor.
