Open Just Casually

[Padme Hume]

Asking Sierra to the dance on the back of one kiss had been a bit of an impulse decision, but not one she was upset about making. Sierra seemed fun, and she didn’t seem like the sort of person who was looking for much, so Padme felt safe in the knowledge this could be a one time thing. That they could go to this event and enjoy herself with someone else. She needed to put what had happened in the past behind her and this just seemed like the best way to go about it. She was waiting for the girl at the entrance of the great hall, hoping that history would not repeat itself tonight. ​

Sierra was excited to go to the ball with Padme. She knew literally nothing about the girl, but was excited to have a new friend and to get to know someone new. Sierra was glad that Padme had asked her, she didn't think she would have had someone to go with otherwise; not that she would have minded. Sierra often liked going by herself so she could spend time with whoever she liked, but she had learned (rather rudely) that once you committed to someone, you had to stay with them. The blonde made her way to the Great Hall, seeing her date waiting at the entrance. "Hello Padme!" Sierra greeted, giving her a kiss on the cheek.

Padme looked up at her name, and couldn’t help the relief that flooded her, Sierra had actually come. She didn’t know why that felt so amazing but it did. She blushed heavily as Sierra pressed a quick kiss to her cheek. She couldn’t help the blush, but she smiled at her, ”Hey Sierra,” she replied and she leaned in too, and gave the girl a quick kiss on her cheek. ”Do you want to dance first or like get a drink?” Padme wasn’t sure what Sierra might want to do first. Ilija had wanted to stay on the sidelines, he hadn’t been much of a dancer. She hoped that Sierra was, she was really looking to have fun with her. ​

Sierra beamed when the girl returned the kiss. She grabbed Padme's hand when she asked what she wanted to do. "I want to dance!" Sierra exclaimed, making to go to the dance floor, before remembering her manners. "Is that okay? And then we can get drinks when we're tired!" She offered, compromising.

Padme smiled as Sierra exclaimed that she wanted to dance. Padme was more than ready to follow her to the dance floor when she check with padme if it was okay. Padme nodded excitedly at her, ”It’s okay! Let’s Dance,” she said and she then began walking towards the dance floor, her hand still vaguely holding Sierra’s. She could dance and dance, and have real fun. She was so eager for it, and it seemed Sierra was too. ​

Sierra beamed when Padme said she was fine, and agreed with dancing. Dancing was definitely one of Sierra's favorite things to do; it was so freeing and fun! She walked with Padme to the dance floor, letting go of the girl's hand and putting her hands on Padme's waist, moving to the music.

Padme was almost a little disappointed when Sierra let go of her hand, but she figured they would be dancing, that was why. So she was even more surprised when instead it went to her waist. She blushed lightly, but gave a small smile. She let herself dance with Sierra, moving with ease to the music. Finding it easy to just get into dancing with her. It was nice.​
