Just a good time

[Layla Reyes]

Layla Reyes was looking especially good as she entered the Yule Ball in a little black dress that had the back out of it. She was attending with her boyfriend, Felix, but she didn't see him yet. Possibly, Layla had arrived first. Things were still going well between Layla and Felix, but she hadn't had time to see much of him lately. She was going to enjoy the night with him before they went their separate ways for the holidays. The Hufflepuff girl looked around for people she recognized. She saw Lyra on her way in, talking to a boy and girl. Other than Lyra, she didn't see any of her friends. Instead, Layla decided to get something to drink while she waited to spot someone she knew.

Felix was happier than ever, things between he and Layla were going well and they would be attending the Yule ball together. As they were in different houses they had agreed to meet there and Felix was running a little late. No doubt Layla would look flawless and somehow have done so in less time than it had taken him to put on his suit. Once he was ready Felix left the common room and walked down through the castle to the Great hall and made his way inside. It didn't take Felix long to find his girlfriend, she easily stood out in her little black dress. Felix sneaked his way up behind her and slipped his arms around her waist and kissed her cheek. Layla turned as she felt arms slip around her waist and a kiss on her cheek. She knew who it was before she heard his voice. She looked up at him with a smile on her face. "Well hello, handsome." she said with a smirk. It was true. He looked even more gorgeous dressed up than he did in his school robes. "It's it lovely in here tonight?" she said with a grin. It always was beautiful. The Professors really knew how to throw a party. "How were your finals?" she asked.

Felix grinned when she greeted him as handsome, it was always a nice thing to hear. "I may look handsome but you, " He said removing his arms from her waist and took hold of her hands so he could get a proper look at her. "Wow, you look stunning," He added kissing her hand. "I am the luckiest man in this hall," Felix said leaning in to place his lips on hers. He pulled back after a few moments so he could answer her question. "Mine were fine, how do you feel about having to wait to do all of yours at the end of the year"
