Amanda looked down at her swirly dress, was this too much for a gig? Of course, after all it was a dress but she didn't want to under dress, plus there was going to be a few people there and her friends, Amanda didn't want to make everyone look bad. She didn't mind just wearing her jeans, but she knew deep down that this was somehow going to be special. Being off for the weekend made her really excited, she could just relax and not worry about anything at this gig. This was a famous person going to be in Europe. Boy was she excited. Amanda had liked all of his songs, but was ok if she didn't get to talk to him tonight.

Amanda didn't need to look at herself again, she thought that she looked ok and nice. The dark brown haired girl walked quietly across her flat and out the door. The gig was a few blocks away, there was no need to take her car or apparate. Being a normal human being was awesome every once in a while. She opened the door to the studio and walked into a crowded space. Seeing her friends face she walked over and joined them by the table. She took a seat and looked around for the musician, she was ready for her weekend to start.

Austin was absolutely, positively, crazy. Why, you ask? He was literally about to walk into the crowd, wearing a wig, and just talk to some random fan. In honesty he was just doing it to upset his mum, but as if that would stop him. None the less he was out and about, some fans actually roughing him up pretty badly. They were sort of nuts, but hey, they were fans. He blinked and saw a girl roughly his age sitting with her friends. She was pretty much gorgeous on top of it, so Austin found it perfectly acceptable to go say hello to her. Maybe he'd even let her know it was him. If not, then he'd just make an announcement to everyone and then run onto stage and sing something, then run out and run for his life.

The singer walked to the table happily, using one of his favorite lines. "My friends haven't shown up yet, could I maybe sit with you guys for a little so I don't look like an idiot?" If they said no, it was their loss.. Well, he'd just sit anyway, but that was beside the point. One time he had done this and a fan had punched him in the face. It was actually pretty funny.. That is until he had found out that his nose was broken. Nonetheless it was always a great story to tell as an icebreaker.

Amanda chit chated with her friends, talking about school and boys. Boys weren't on her mind as much as they were on her friends'. Amanda was ok if she did or didn't have a boyfriend. One day she does hope to be married and have kids, but why worry now when you're young and get stressed about it? Amanda turned her head to face the attracitve boy that sat beside her, he had some seriously shiny hair. " That's alright, you can stay with us." Her white teeth showed as she smiled. " I'm Amanda Finnigan by the way." She put out her hand to shake his. " You look familar, maybe we know eachother?" She asked him curiously.

Austin looked at her and grinned back, happy she was open for him to sit there. "I'm..." Crap, he hadn't thought of a name. "..Aussie James." It was an old nickname that his brother had given to him when they used to play cowboys together. For some reason he got a pang of guilt in his chest. He didn't want to lie to the girl, but at the same time he couldn't say who he actually was. "And I hear that I look like this Austin guy. I'm only here to see him for myself." Austin laughed a little, "I hear he's really spoiled and difficult. Well that's what my friends who aren't in love with him say." Why was he just saying stuff about himself? Well, too late now. Now he could only watch her reaction and see how this went.

Amanda nodded at his name, it didn't sound familair but it could be, she could be a bit forgetful at times. She tried to picture Austin in her head, but it was a bit difficult seeing as she hadn't seen a picture of him in a while. " I think you do look a bit like him, maybe the eyes." Amanda nodded, agreeing with Aussie. " Oh your friends are in love with him too? This whole bunch around me would kill to see him." Amanda shook her head, laughing.. " I'm not one of those crazy fans, I do enjoy his music but I wouldn't jump him or cry if I saw him." Amanda shrugged her shoulders, that was the type of person she was. Amanda looked at Aussie and analyzed his face. " You really do look like him though, hmm." She narrowed her eyebrows, " Hopefully he'll get on the stage so I can see first hand that you are basically twins." The dark haired brunette giggled.

Austin grinned at her even more, "You see it too? How weird." His eyes drifted to a clock, not that much time left until he had to get on stage, if he even decided to. After all his agents said he shouldn't work himself too hard. At the same time he didn't want to disappoint everyone there. Though a loud laugh escaped his lips when she brought up being a regular fan. Once someone had actually followed him home and stole some hair from his hairbrush. Those sorts of fans were just scary. But it was nice to meet a regular person was totally refreshing. Even more time passed and he just wanted to know more about her, but the show was supposed to start soon. He was running out of options. "Yeah well, the show starts soon. It'll be fun to see how he reacts to his long lost twin Aussie."

Amanda smiled, she was having a good chat with Aussie, he seemed like a pretty cool person. The brunette didn't even notice how much time passed until she looked at her phone. " Austin better be coming out soon so I can see the resemblence." Amanda put her bag back onto the table. " I'd laugh if he asked you to join him up there." The brunette smiled.

"Right.. Well I think I'll just go on stage myself." Austin smirked and hopped up from his seat and ran backstage, changing into his outfit, and then he came out with the wig on. The crowd's faces were confused, but he grinned and bowed. The wig came off and showed who he was, and he gave Amanda a wink. One song would be good enough. He sang the new song that he spent forever on, then stayed for bows. But, he still wanted to talk with that one girl in the audience. Then, he had a genius idea.

He hopped off the stage one last time, then ran over to Amanda. "I really hope you can run." Without another word, he took her hand and ran out. This was just the buzz he was needing so badly lately. As soon as he deemed it okay, he ducked into an alley and slumped against it, laughing like an absolutely crazy person.

Amanda was a bit confused on how he would go on stage. Her eyes then looked at him on the stage, it was really Austin. The brunette smiled and winked back at him. How couldn't she see it, but that was ok, she knew why he did it. His song was simply wonderful, and he had a really nice voice. " Oh I can run." She quickly grabbed her purse and ran with Austin into the alleyway. " I can't believe that I didn't see that, but it was genious of you." Amanda honestly said. " It's nice to meet you Austin." The brunette could truly say that, now getting to know Austin. Of course her phone was ringing off the hook, " Guess my friends want to come jump you." Amanda turned off her phone and threw it back in her purse.

" How did you think of all of that?" Amand asked, really wanting to know. She was quite interested in why he picked her of all people too.

Austin just shook his head, the laughter becoming more and more loud and shaky. What had just gotten into him? He had honestly never done anything remotely like that. That was just fueled by pure adrenaline and possibly the bowl full of candy he had a couple of hours ago. Though he stopped laughing when the phone rang, in fact the hairs on the back of his neck stood up. The fact that Amanda threw it back in her purse was amazing. Most people would pick it up and then he would have to run away again. Austin stood and grinned from ear to ear, taking off his jacket and unbuttoning some of the buttons of his shirt for comfort. "Well, I thought that up before the show.. I was really bored. You seemed cool enough to talk to, so I decided to steal you away for a little. Do you need to talk to anyone to get their permission? Parents?"

Amanda smiled and stood right beside him. " I don't need permission from anyone, I'm here by myself." The brunette laughed, was he a wizard? But how was she going to ask him that without being direct. " I'm from Durmstrang here for the weekend at my flat." If he knew what Durmstrang was then she knew. " You preformed amazingly tonight." Amanda said happily,, she enjoyed being in his prescence.

Austin put an arm around her as a brother would and chuckled, "Oh no! A pretty girl all lonesome. I suppose I'll have to take care of her." Though imagine his luck when she said she went to Durmstrang, "Oh! That's amazing! I went there when I was younger.. Now my parents home school me though." The man still wished that he went to a magical school, but some things needed to be sacrificed. "My dad works for the ministry you know." That was his way of telling her that he knew what she was and that he was one too.

Amanda liked how she felt comfortable with him, it was as if she knew him from before. " But you're all alone, why is a handsome, famous boy walking all alone?" Amanda laughed at her own sentence. " Oh my dad does too, my dad's Seamus Finnigan, what's your dad's name?" Amanda looked at him, he'd probably heard of her father, not to many people haven't.

"Because this famous boy's mother is being a pain in his side." Austin smirked and chuckled very softly. He loved his mother more than anyone, but that wasn't the point. She was just being way too paranoid. "Seamus Finnigan! I've heard of him! My dad's a nobody, Chris Kirkland. I doubt you know him though." He himself didn't even know his father until a couple of years ago. It seemed that all sorts of relatives appeared when you start making it big. "I really want to work for the ministry or maybe in a school when I'm older though."

Amanda had heard of his father, she practically knew everyone in the ministry because she visited a lot with her father. " I know him, next time you see him tell him I say he still owes me." The brunette laughed. " That was my thought until I thought of acting, and I tried a few shows and I really like it." Amanda nodded, " But that's a really good idea, but stay into singing too, you're amazing." She said honestly.

Austin laughed with her and actually grinned, but this one was more sincere than the others. This one showed all his teeth, gleaming white and straight. Something about this girl just made the boy happy, though he couldn't put his finger on it. "You should totally go into acting! Maybe we can work on something together... You can be in my newest video." He was completely serious about this, but some girls didn't like being in videos for some reason. "And hey, I don't think I'll be in the singing career much longer. I'm growing up too much to be a teen pretty boy anymore."

Amanda nodded agreeing with him. " That'd be wonderful, I'd love to do that with you." She really never acted like this around anyone at all, he brought her colors through. " You can be a heart throb in your twenties, I can see it now, Austin the man who makes girls fall to their knees." Amanda laughed at her own joke. But it was true. She could really see him in her future as well.

"No way! You serious?" Austin picked her up and placed her over his shoulder, so happy now. "You just get more and more awesome!" He only felt better from her compliment, though he didn't believe her. He never did take compliments. Even as a little boy he hated them. The American always thought that you could improve anything, even looks or how you acted. "Thank you, but... I'm still thinking about it. I don't think I could leave California easily."

Amanda was serious about it, " It would be a lot of fun, I think we'd have a blast doing it." She laughed, " Plus, I've never been in anything like that before, there's a time for everything." It was a saying that her grandmother used to tell her, when she was alive that is. " Oh no need to leave California, who says you can't travel and work from home?" She added, Austin really didn't need to leave his house. " Just have a record studio in your basement or something. That way when you get an idea you can play it there and see how it works." It was a suggestion that she had just thought of, maybe it could work in his case.

"Totally!" Austin laughed with her and twirled her around. This day just got better and better. "New experiences are what you're supposed to live for, right? I mean if you never try you never know!" He paused for a long while, then placed her back on her feet. "You know you're full of good ideas. You should come visit me every now and again!" Maybe she would actually like California, though maybe she had already been there. The beach was one of his favorite places to be, after all. It was an interesting thought if Amanda and he were at the beach together. It actually seemed like a fun thing.

" Exactly, you have to live life to the extreme in order to have liven the normal life." Amanda laughed as he twirled her around, she had never been twirled around by a man before. " California's a nice place to go, my sister has a place up there. I'll visit you!" She said happily. " We can go record a song for you, I'll play the guitar and then we can go to the beach." She said happily. " Let's do it!" Amanda added, still smiling.

"I'm glad you agree." Austin smiled at her and started walking, motioning with his head that she should follow. "You have a sister? How nice... What's she like?" He himself had an older brother and a younger sister, but those two were living with his dad while he traveled. The singer wasn't fond of the separation but knew that it was for the best and for their benefit. "Wow, you play guitar and you like the beach? You're like... The perfect girl." He said this with hesitance, though he meant it.

Amanda followed beside Austin, liking how they were talking. " I actually have, well had four sisters, but died in a car accident so I have two now. My older sister is the more known one, she has a record label out, and she has a real estate business, Caysi Finnigan.. you might've heard of her?" She questioned him. " She's the oldest sister I have, and I have three brothers, so I have a big family." Amanda said cheerfully. " What about your family?" Amanda wanted to get closer to him, what better way to be a good friend, or even more than by knowing about one's family. " You're the perfect guy, singer, funny, creative, what more could a person ask for?" She said, with a gleaming smile on her face.

Austin listened, nodding his head every so often and enjoying the conversation. Truthfully he hadn't talked with anyone like this in a while. Everyone always was telling him to do something and not asking him if he was okay with it, or how he felt. Having someone actually talk to him was amazing. "Caysi... You know I might have heard of her.." He snapped his fingers once or twice, thinking. "I've heard of her! She's a really good singer! My cousin knows her really well!" Austin thought about his family for a bit, "Well I have an older brother, and he's studying to be a medic.. His name is Tas, well his nickname is Tas. And then my little sister is named Sydney." He missed the two of them a lot, but they were back at his first home in New Zealand. "Then I have my cousins Penny, Levi, and Aran."

Amanda felt some sort of connection with Austin, she felt that she could tell him anything. " Yup that's my crazy sister. She knows a whole bunch of people." Amanda laughed, how her sister could know the whole world was quite interesting. " I would love to have a little sister, I've never gotten the feeling of being the older one. But that's ok with me, having older brothers is somewhat like having a bunch of little sisters." Amanda joked with Austin.
