Tristane Matthias truly did not know what the deal with Lucius was right now. Tristane was a nice guy, and everyone knew it. He never even stood up for himself when someone said something bad about him. He just smiled and did not say a word. However on the request of Lucius to give Astoria some alone time to get her things packed and moved into his house which was already prepared for her arrival, he was going to hang out with Lucius and one of Lucius' crushes. He had been asked over and over how to impress the ladies, and Tristane always said the same thing. "Just be yourself." However it was growing apparent that he was getting a little worried about Jarrett. He still remembered what Lucius had said. That Jarrett was in love with Astoria, and how she ran off immediately to go comfort him. They had a relationship in the past, but could it be that there was more to it than he was realizing? Then his brain reminded him that he was being silly. He trusted Astoria. He loved Astoria. She was marrying him in a matter of months. He would be the first married out of his siblings. Pandora Matthias would make a really sweet flower girl too, so that was something to think about when it came to the wedding. Tristane could not wait. His golden eyes flickered with excitement as he walked somewhat behind Lucius, not saying a word. He did not know where he was going, not that he could remember with his head filled up with wedding plans, and trying to keep Jarrett out of his mind. There was only so much doubt that one could really take when it came to marrying someone. Of course, Astoria chose him. Even after the camping trip, they were still together and going strong. There was nothing he should be worried about.

The moment that he looked up, he saw the house that they were going to, and he had been here before. He was good friends with Liliana since she was in school, and wondered if Lucius had a crush on her. Well, he didn't mention the fact that his crush was blind but beautiful, so he must be talking about her older sister named Zinnia. Interrupting Lucius while he spoke, Tristane smiled, "Oh, the house of the Chamberlins. I'm good friends with Liliana. I've been meaning to come here, and never got around to it." He approached the front door ahead of Lucius and he knocked a couple of times, before taking a step back. He did not expect Liliana to answer it. She was blind, but then again the things that she could do made him think differently a lot. He cast a smile over to Lucius, and wondered who was more excited to see the respected Chamberlin girl, him or Lucius? He figured Lucius because Lucius crushed on Zinnia, whereas, he was just good friends with Liliana. Tristane hoped that she would be happy to visit with him again, since she was a nice girl, and thought the world of her. Perhaps he should invite her to his wedding? He smiled at the thought of her in a nice dress, coming to a wedding just for him. He waited with Lucius for someone to answer the front door.

Lucius Verdelet was rather stoked about what today was. He was going to visit with the lovely Zinnia again! He had let her know that he was coming, with a friend. Well, Tristane Matthias was not really a friend, but more or less someone that he picked on every now and then. The age difference was a boost too. However there was today when he asked Tristane how he got the girls to like him. Lucius didn't really have issues, he just always attracted the wrong ones. Like his ex years ago, he thought that she loved him, until she took everything he had, even his house, and left him destitute. That was when he moved to New Zealand for a fresh start, living with roommates in a not so nice apartment where the paint was peeling and there was always a dog barking. Lucius was almost done saving up for a house of his own. Only then would he ever invite Zinnia over. She was much too pretty to be seen where he lived now. Plus, the people there might try to take her from him. Even if he didn't have her yet. He had a small shot. She was part-veela, and obviously above his class. However today was about he and Tristane hanging out with two beautiful girls. Liliana was far too young for him, plus he thought that she was entertaining. Zinnia on the other hand, he went crazy for. He didn't even know if she liked him or not. What if she didn't? Well, could Lucius blame her? She was this amazing woman, and he was this ordinary guy. Who wanted an ordinary guy? His eyes flickered back to Tristane and started to see why Jarrett was so intimidated by him. Tristane was not ordinary. Pretty sure if he won the lottery, he would give it all to charity. End world hunger, or something like that. He was this guy that everyone loved, and Jarrett hated him. He knew why now. And Tristane was still unknown that Astoria sort of cheated on him with making out with Jarrett, right after he proposed. Lucius kept that silent though.

After all, that was why he brought Tristane out here, away from Astoria. Jarrett and Astoria needed some time alone. Astoria was moving out, and that would make a great impact on Jarrett. He needed some time alone. The last person that needed to be there was Tristane. It was not long before they arrived to the house, with Lucius saying, "So, we are going to be visiting my friends-" however Tristane interrupted him, and said something that made him stop in his tracks. Tristane knew the Chamberlin girls? 'Who doesn't this little angel know?!' thought Lucius in his mind as Tristane walked up and knocked on the door. Right now, he was horrified, but he walked up to where he was slightly behind Tristane, whom seemed all too eager to see Liliana again. How far back did those two go? Lucius furrowed his eyebrows for a moment, before he started to think of something. Perhaps he could somehow break up Tristane and Astoria, just for Jarrett. All he needed to do was to find someone that Tristane would fall in love with, and or just fall into lust, and then cheat. That is what a majority of the guys that Astoria was with did before apparently.

<COLOR color="#000">It was one of those days. It seemed like no matter what Zinnia tried to do, she just didn't have the muse for any of it. There was nothing to blame it on either, she was just not feeling up to doing anything but sitting down and relaxing today. Zinnia brushed aside some of her blonde hair and slumped further into the couch. She was tired and worn out. Zinnia had taken it upon herself to work as much as possible. That way she could take better care of her siblings. Her parents were good parents, but they traveled a lot to make the income they did. Zinnia figured that if her brothers and sisters wanted to keep the lifestyle they did, they needed ti understand that traveling like they did was necessary. Zinnia kind of felt like a nanny in this case. While her parents were away, she took care of all her siblings. Including Liliana and Bryce. Which was pretty hard at times, but she had been dealing with it her whole life, so she was used to it. As were they. Zinnia was amazed with how well those two were able to communicate it one another. Their disabilities definitely did not stop them from being able to be normal human beings. "I'm still thankful that it's them instead of me though. I can't imagine what it would be to not be bale to hear or see." Zinnia was selfish to admit it. If she was in their shoes, she probably would hate herself. The sound of the door opening upstairs alerted Zinnia. It was either one of the little ones, or Liliana finally getting up. The gentle tapping of Liliana's cane signaled that it was her. Zinnia got up off the couch and stared at the stairs. It seemed like no matter how many times she saw Liliana get down those effortlessly, Zinnia always liked to watch and make sure she wouldn't fall. Zinnia was about to ask if Liliana was going to go come downstairs and eat something, but a knock at the door demanding her attention first. Zinnia sighed softly and headed over to the door. She had no idea who it could be either. Opening it, Zinnia paused when she saw Lucius and some stranger she had never seen before.

"He with you?" Zinnia asked Lucius as she pointed at the stranger. When her suspicions were confirmed she motioned for both of them to come on it. "I'm glad you guys came over today, I think I'm going to lose my mind being stuck here all day." Zinnia admitted as she closed the door behind them. Zinnia finally emerged from the bathroom and started to head downstairs. Zinnia carefully watched her sister walk down the steps, and vaguely wondered if the two guys beside her were too. It amazed people that people with no sight could do some of the things they did. It was probably a good thing that Liliana could see the way some people looked at her. She would be furious. Then again, it could be the Veela blood kicking in as well. But Liliana never seemed to consider that. Hey Lil, Lucius is here. He brought um-a friend." Zinnia tossed an apologetic smile the guys way. She wanted to attract her sister's attention while she could. The younger blonde paused and Zinnia knew she had caught Liliana's attention. "Are you hungry?" Zinnia asked everyone in the room. Liliana shook her head. "You sure?" Zinnia questioned again, only to receive another nod, yet Liliana went into the kitchen anyways. Zinnia turned then to the two guys and smiled. "How about you two? Hungry?" Zinnia was hungry, so in the end if anyone else decided they didn't want food, she was at least going to get herself something. Liliana was hungry too. But lately she had been on this kick where she wanted to prove to everyone that she could live on her own, and therefore, care for herself. Zinnia was willing to let her try all she wanted, but she wasn't going to fall for it that easily.

Liliana Chamberlin opened her eyes, but she still saw darkness. If it hadn't been for the birds chirping outside, Liliana wouldn't even be able to tell if it was night or day. Liliana turned and let her hand feel around for her alarm clock. When her fingertips finally felt the familiar feel of the plastic clock, she pressed the button located on the top. A loud masculine voice read out the time to her. "It's time ot get up, I suppose." Liliana thought to herself as she pushed her covers aside. Before Liliana even got out of bed, she grabbed her white cane and headed over to the dresser on the other side of the room. She was able to navigate about her bedroom without much trouble, but the moment she left the room she was in dire need of her cane to get around without tripping over things. Liliana got dressed and headed to the bathroom. Believe it or not, Liliana could also do things like brush her teeth, wash her face, and get her hair done without the assistance of others too. Those things required feeling, not seeing. But Liliana never wore make up. She couldn't put it on without help from someone else. So she just went without. It wasn't like it mattered though. Looks never mattered much to Liliana much. When Liliana was completely finished getting ready for the day she heard the door knock. It sounded like Zinnia was going to get it though. Liliana extended her cane once more and headed out of the bathroom and down the stairs. It took her years of practice to get the stairs right. When she was little she used to have her dad carry her down. If Liliana was ever to buy a house of her own, she would avoid buying one with stairs all together.

Just as Liliana got to the bottom, she heard her sister speak to her, and turned her head toward the direction of her voice. Apparently Lucius and some friend of his had come over. She guessed that it wasn't Jarrett by the way Zinnia didn't know his name. "Greetings gentlemen!" Liliana greeted them sweetly. She was asked if she was hungry and promptly shook her head. She was hungry, but she wanted to get her own meal, rather than have her sister help her with it. If Zinnia had known that Tristane was the other guy she would have greeted him better, but she didn't know. Instead she headed into the kitchen and tried to locate the cupboard that contained the the cinnamon buns. She could throw them in the oven and cook them. Zinnia must have sensed that she couldn't find them, because before she knew it, her sister was right there trying to help her. "Come on Zin! Can you just let me try this? Please." Liliana heard Zinnia sigh and she smiled. At least her sister was willing to let her try this. As Liliana located a pan and began to place the cinnamon buns onto it in a scattered frenzy. It probably looked like crap, but at least Liliana did it on her own.

Tristane nodded when Zinnia pointed at him, and Tristane was the first one inside, out of excitement. He just could not help it really. Tristane was dying to see Liliana again since she was a good friend of his. Tristane looked around the home, and then listened as Zinnia was speaking, and said that she was going to lose her mind for being stuck here all day, if they had not come over. Tristane smiled but he did not say anything to Zinnia, since Lucius went on ahead. He looked up at Liliana was she walked down the stairs. She was amazing, blind but making it somehow. Tristane could not find anything better than to watch. It wasn't creepy, but he knew that if he tried that, he would have fallen on the third step, if not the second or first! Tristane looked over at Lucius and wondered if he really liked Zinnia that well. If he did, then Tristane would leave them alone because he did not want to be there to really bother them. Lucius wanted Zinnia to be his girlfriend. He knew that now. Tristane shook his head and made sure to keep his voice down because he wanted to surprise Liliana with his arrival. With her greeting, he knew that she didn't know that it was him. How could she anyway? Tristane had treated Lucius to some food earlier anyway. Tristane didn't want anything, but he would not mind a glass of water though. He was a little thirsty. He too entered the kitchen, followed by none other than Zinnia and Lucius into the kitchen. Liliana said that she wasn't hungry, but she was getting herself something to eat. She wanted to get things for herself, and there was nothing wrong with that anyway. It was something he admired. He briefly wondered if her sister would let her live by herself, where she would really be out on her own.

"So, Liliana, do you plan on sharing those cinnamon buns?" He practically announced his arrival and that he was the stranger with the perky sound of his voice. "Actually, I was joking. I managed to get food for Lucius and myself." He was not hungry at all, and figured that Lucius was not hungry either unless he hate some more. Tristane was surprised by the fact that Lucius could eat so much with the way he was. She was really good at locating herself around the kitchen, an he was thoroughly impressed with what she could do. He smiled even more and he looked to Zinnia and Lucius before he motioned with his eyes to go get the one that he crushed on. He could handle Liliana. Tristane leaned against a counter and he said with a smile, one that could be heard in his voice, "So, how have things been for you? Hopefully well. Graduated now from Beauxbatons. You have your whole life to enjoy it. Have any plans?" So he was asking a lot of questions, but he was merely eager.

Lucius was still really bothered that Tristane knew of Zinnia's sister, and still as shocked as ever. Lucius looked up when Zinnia answered the door, and his features just lit up like a candle or a light. He loved being around her, that was no secret. However getting what he often felt out proved to be a challenge for him. Lucius could see that she was tired too, and wondered if she was even up to having some company. She asked him if Tristane was with him, he said, "Yeah, the angel is with me." He almost rolled his eyes when he said that, but he shrugged. "He's a nice guy, too nice if you ask me." Lucius shrugged a bit, but he was not worried about Tristane stealing Zinnia away, since he was already engaged to Astoria, much to his dismay. Astoria belonged to Jarrett, well, in his mind, she did. They just did not realize it. He sighed and he entered the doorway, and heard the door close behind him. He hoped that she did not mind him bringing Tristane by. He just didn't want Tristane around Jarrett in his unstable condition. Lucius combed his fingers through his hair, and his smile still hung on his face. Then again he was also thinking of another prank to throw on Tristane. Lucius looked over to Zinnia when she said that she was glad that they had come over. Lucius blushed a brilliant red, but was positive that she meant that in the friendliest of ways. She couldn't like him more than a friend. She was too good for him in so many ways. She might not agree, but that was his thoughts so many times a day, that he would never get a girl like her because she was just too good for someone like him. After all, he loved to play pranks on people, and he even threw snakes on Tristane for congratulations for getting engaged. Lucius was pretty sure that he would get a happy ending one day. He looked over at Tristane, and wondered what was on his mind right now, but he was also sure that it was nothing naughty. The man seemed to be one of those that even thought just good thoughts, all of the time. It was sickening. Perhaps he could make Tristane colder or meaner somehow?

"Well, anything to keep you entertained. Hope you don't mind us hanging out here for the day. Or just a couple of hours," Lucius spoke, almost like he was sucking up, but he wasn't. Naturally, he was just enchanted with the way that she looked. Lucius looked over at Zinnia and then heard someone emerged from a room above. He then looked by the stairs, and saw Liliana going down them, as if she could see. And she looked graceful as always. He wanted to ask Zinnia how she did that, but he thought that it might be rude, so he kept his mouth shut. He also kept a close eye on Tristane, and thought that there might be too much happiness going on with seeing Liliana. "Hey there, Liliana! Long time, no hanging out!" He was so glad that he did not say 'Long time, no see!' because that would have been rude. Since she was blind, he wanted to avoid a lot of words that could be taken offensively. Liliana wasn't hungry? Well, that was almost surprising, but then she went into the kitchen. He almost laughed since he knew what she was doing in there. "Nah, he bought us something to eat. Thanks for that, by the way." Entering the kitchen, he kept his distance from Liliana since she knew where everything was. Making cinnamon buns. They looked good. He saw Tristane's motion, and then he almost flinched. He looked over at Zinnia and he asked, "Hey, Zinnia, want to go hang out on the couch? It looks like Tristane and Liliana already know each other. Oh, that is Tristane too, sorry." He wanted to get her alone so that they could talk some. Maybe he could tell her that he liked her. Ask her out on a date, he didn't know. Just thinking about it made those butterflies appear and made him want to go worship the porcelain god.

Zinnia had never met Tristane before, but she could quickly tell that he was the type of person that would really get along with her sister. So overall, Zinnia was happy that Lucius had brought him along. Liliana seemed a bit down lately and could likely use some company to cheer her yup. "Why do you call him the angel?" Zinnia asked with honest curiosity. Was he like a saint or something? Guys usually didn’t give each other nicknames such as that so Zinnia wanted to know what made this guy so special. He instantly went over to Liliana, which made Zinnia smile ever so softly. He must know her or something, it was cute though. It was like bear being attracted to a bowl of honey. Turning to Lucius, she had to make sure not to be too loud while speaking. Liliana would get really upset if she knew that Zinnia was spying in on her. "He seems quite taken with my little sister. It’s cute. I’m glad you brought him though, Liliana’s been kind of down lately. Maybe he can help her cheer up a little bit.” Zinnia confessed quietly. It also meant that Zinnia wouldn’t get bothered by Liliana about Lucius being her boyfriend. Lucius was really cute and everything, but she really felt like maybe they should go out on a date or something before they called themselves a couple. Maybe even more than one date would need to happen before they became a couple. Zinnia was a very busy woman, so getting serious with a guy wasn’t fully on her mind. Yes she did like Lucius, but he needed to be ready to put up with her busy life, and that he was the right guy for her, before she ever decided to commit to being a couple with him.

"Sure, we can hang out in the living room. You guys can stay as long as you’d like." Zinnia motioned for Lucius to follow her into the next room. It was better than sitting around and doing nothing. Lucius was pretty fun to talk to anyways. He could be pretty funny at times. He made Zinnia laugh so he must be good at it. Especially since Zinnia usually didn’t find jokes to be all that funny. The funny part was that despite all the laughter and friendliness he brought, Zinnia could sense of sadness as well. She wasn’t sure if anyone else could pick it up too or not, but it was just something she was sure she was feeling whenever she was around him. Zinnia sort of wished that she knew what had happened to him. Did he have a bad childhood? Or a poor marriage? Zinnia knew that his best friend had a really bad past due to his parents passing away and leaving him alone to raise his siblings. Zinnia knew more about his best friend’s past than she knew about Lucius’. That would be another thing she wanted before she and Lucius got together. She wanted to know more about Lucius and about his life before he came to work at Hogwarts. "So, how’s your friend, any less miserable?" Zinnia asked as she sat down on the couch. Zinnia had always heard that guys liked it when their girls got along well with their friends. Jarrett seemed a little cranky, but if it impressed Lucius, she could suck it up and get to know him. "While I’m at it, how have you been?" Zinnia leaned back and ran a couple of fingers through her thick blonde hair. Hopefully this would start some sort of conversation between them. This way she would focus less on what was going on with Liliana and Tristane in the other room.

Liliana sensed the presence of other people entering the kitchen, but she had no idea who was in the room with her other than Zinnia. It had to be more than one though. It was just a feeling she had. However, until they revealed themselves, she was going to continue ignoring them. For all she knew, they were people she didn’t want to talk to in the first place. Then, halfway through arranging the cinnamon buns onto the tree, she heard a semi-familiar voice. "Tristane?" Liliana lifted her head and turned her head in the direction of his voice. Liliana was good with voices usually. Once she heard a person’s voice and then heard their name, she connected the voice with the name. Liliana instantly recognized the man’s voice as being the voice of the guy she had met that day. The first person she had met outside of her home and school that accepted her despite her being blind and being a half-breed. He was a really sweet guy. Liliana wished she had gotten the chance to see him around before this, but sadly she was too busy with school until just a year or so ago. "I’d be happy to share with you. Just don’t eat them all. Or we’re going to have an issue." Liliana warned as she felt around for the handle of the oven. Her fingers danced across the counters until she felt it. With careful fingers, she pulled the oven open and set the tray inside. The oven was dated enough to be able to read the temperature out to her and beep when it was done, so Liliana never had much trouble baking something. Pretty soon she would have the warm cinnamon goodness digesting in her stomach. Liliana re-grabbed her cane and started over to where she remembered hearing Tristane’s voice come from.

"What brings you here?" Liliana’s questioned was quickly answered when she heard Lucius call out to her. Ah, so that was how he got here. It was nice to see Lucius around again. He and Zinnia were so cute together. "Hey Lucius! Glad to have you around again, Zinnia was getting awful lonely!" Liliana could hear her older sister snort in the next room. There was no denying it, Zinnia liked Lucius. If only she would calm down and admit that she liked the poor guy. "I didn’t know you were friends with Lucius!" Liliana honestly never thought she was going to see this boy again. The last time he had spoken to her was years ago. Fate must be working a mysterious circle right now, how else would she be able to reunite with someone that had helped her out so much while she was in school. Liliana could feel the body heat from Tristane now and paused in approaching him. Now she was close enough to even be able to smell the cologne he was wearing perfectly. It smelled wonderful. "I’ve been good! Now that I’m out of school, I really want to travel. The only thing standing in my way is Zinnia and finding someone willing to travel with me. How about you? What have you been up to lately?" Liliana asked. The blonde didn’t want to focus on herself as much, because she was embarrassed that she really hadn’t accomplished much after Graduating. No one would give her the chance to do anything great. Didn’t they realize how boring it was to live the kind of life she was living? It was true that she was blind, but that didn’t mean she was defenseless.

Lucius really hoped that he could manage to get Zinnia to like him as much as he liked her. He really, really liked her and he wanted to do things to make her happy. She asked why he called Tristane the angel, and it was a simple reason really. Because the guy was a freaking angel, and Jarrett called him that too. Oh and fairy boy which was too mean for him to call Tristane when he did not have any sort of beef with the guy. "Because the guy acts like an angel. Like he is perfect in every way, and there is not a flaw on him besides the fact that he is naïve and just innocent to the core." Lucius looked into the kitchen before he leaned in and whispered, "He has no idea that his fiancée cheated on him with kissing Jarrett and almost doing it on the ground on the night he proposed." Lucius needed to spill it to someone, and Zinnia was someone he trusted with something like this. Astoria was meant for Jarrett, not for Tristane. It was not fair that the three of them should be into this really horrible triangle. Someone was going to go get screwed over. Zinnia mentioned on how Tristane seems taken with Liliana. He looked back and he could see it. It was almost like Tristane liked her, like really liked her. Lucius knew then. He could see it. "Y-yeah he really does. Um, if anyone can cheer her up, it is him." Lucius really wondered about the situation hat he was seeing right now, and he hoped that maybe with Liliana, Tristane can dump Astoria and be with Liliana, then Astoria and Jarrett could finally be together and give him some nieces and nephews. Even though they were not brothers, it was like they were.

At least now they were on the couch, and Lucius did not have to worry about seeing Tristane fall in love with Liliana’s charms. If Zinnia did not steal his heart, then he would have been all over Liliana. She was adorable, and she was just so lovely. "Jarrett’s life is all about alcohol, and I wish that he could just move on and be himself again. He really needs it but he seems to have found another friend. One that seems to give him some action on the side." He rolled his eyes and he did not even notice that he had not even notice that he had not told Zinnia a thing about his own past. When he was with this girl, and she took everything and he was forced to live in a rundown apartment with a roommate that was really gross to him. He was almost done saving up for a nice house! And she asked how he was doing, and he grinned before saying, "Um, well, working as a nurse at the school is hilarious because of some of the students. I have almost enough money to save up for a house. Something that I have not had in years. I thought about you a lot actually. But um, what about you? Been doing something more awesome than me? I am sure you have." Lucius grinned over at her as he turned to face her on the couch. He was close to her, almost a little cozy. He would definitely not mind getting closer. Lucius continued to stare at her with a big grin on his face. He was ignoring what was happening in the kitchen, and for a good reason too, because he did not want to have to see Tristane fall for Liliana. Though it would be interesting if each married the respected sister and then they would be brothers. After Lucius had done, he would laugh so hard.

When Liliana turned in the direction of Tristane, he knew for a fact that she had recognized him, and even remembered his name. Well, it was a hard name to forget, and at least now he was speaking without his heavy Russian accent that made him impossible to understand. Tristane smiled even more when he seemed to appreciate him being around her. That was what he wanted the most. She was cute. Tristane really liked spending time with her. "I promise to you that I will not eat all of them. Just maybe two. They look delicious!" She was a natural and it amazed him because of what she had. She was missing one of her five senses, and she could still cook better than he could. Or well, bake better than he could. He was really good at teaching music to students, but when it came to cooking and stuff? He would rather leave it to magic. Being with his brothers was hard enough, but being with Liliana now made him feel better. And being with Astoria made him feel better too. He watched her with interest as she put the tray into the oven and the oven read out the temperature. Now that was high tech. He did not know much about muggle things, but that was amazing enough to keep him from staring at Liliana the entire time. He was sure that he did not have to tell her on how amazing that was. She grabbed her cane and then walked back over to him, which made him smile even more. His amber eyes were glowing with admiration. It was a good thing that she could not see otherwise she would have seen the longing look, commented on it, and then make him worried. He did not even know just how enamored he was with Liliana, and had been for some time actually. He needed a wake up call eventually.

"I came in with Lucius. He wanted to come and see his girlfriend," Tristane said this part a little louder so that Lucius could hear, which he did not see a reaction, "and since Zinnia means seeing you, I was eager to come along." Lucius was not really his friend, but he was hoping that he and Lucius could be friends. After all, he was really wanting to get to know Lucius and Jarrett, even if Jarrett really hated him for some reason. "Well, I try to. Jarrett doesn't like me too much, and Lucius on the other hand, I think he is trying to be a little like a referee or something." Tristane blushed a little bit when she was close enough to him, that he could actually smell her, and she smelled really good to him. He listened on how she wanted to travel, and how Zinnia was blocking her, and how she needed to have someone come with her. As much as he would love to, he was getting married. "Where would you want to travel to? Well, maybe if Zinnia was distracted enough you might be able to sneak away. Um, not much with me. I am getting married soon to this amazing girl. I would offer to escort you but..." Tristane faded off knowing full and well why he could not travel with her. He looked to the oven, and then he asked, "Um, after the cinnamon rolls are made, do you want to go sit on the porch? Maybe we can give them some privacy, and talk some more?" He could have sworn he saw a little swing on the porch, and thought that would be a good place to talk and enjoy the weather.

Zinnia couldn't believe that this guy didn't have any flaws, nobody was that perfect. The blonde gave Lucius an odd stare before she turned to look at Tristane for a moment. Then Lucius announced that he was fairly naive and innocent, and that Zinnia could believe. Tristane reminded her of her little sister. They both had such open minds about things, it was truly sweet. Zinnia was about to ask Lucius whether he had any idea if Tristane liked Liliana or not, but was interrupted by Lucius telling him that he had no idea that his fiancee had cheated on him with Jarrett. "That poor guy! You should tell him! He doesn't deserve that, frankly this girl doesn't deserve Jarrett either." Zinnia hissed, her eyes darkening as she spoke. Although she didn't know Tristane very well, the thought of anyone cheating sickened her. Zinnia once had a boyfriend during her past couple of years at school that had been cheating on her since day one. Zinnia was young so it wasn't like it was something that bothered her every single day and made her shy away from love, but it did made her really dislike people who couldn't be loyal to someone who gave someone else their heart. "I think they would be a cute couple. Liliana doesn't think I know this...but I can see that she's a little bit lonely. I think she wants a boy to love on." Zinnia had similar feelings sometimes, but there were times when she knew that boys should be the last thing on her mind. Since her parents were often away with their jobs, Zinnia was the one who took care of her siblings. Plus she needed to find a time to balance babysitting and working to make sure they had some extra funds.

"He probably needs some professional help. Like rehab or something. But...not to be rude, I was actually more curious about how you were doing. I know I asked, but I felt like it was a good ice breaker." Zinnia didn't have anything against Jarrett or anything, but she didn't know him as well as she did Lucius. Besides, there wasn't much she could do for someone who wanted to drink like that, except to have him go through rehab. Plus Zinnia didn't know that much about Lucius either. There were some things she knew, but if he truly wanted to be her friend like he seemingly did, he was going to need to dish out some of those dirty details he didn't really want too share. "Oh you're saving up for a house? Any idea where you're looking for a house at? Yo-you thought about me? What do you mean? Me? Well....actually not too much. Mostly just keeping an eye out for Liliana and job hunting. I'm kind of boring. I did recently take a trip to the United States to visit a city called Las Vegas. Despite all of the drunks and money flying around that place, it's actually very nice there. The lights are so pretty!" Zinnia would actually love to go there again someday. Maybe if she managed to save up enough she could bring some friends this time. Last time Liliana came, and it wasn't the same. Liliana was quite upset about not being able to see, so she was a bit of a bum. Zinnia rarely ever saw her sister upset about her condition these days, so it made her feel a little bad. Next time she would find some other place for her and Zinnia to go. Had Lucius ever been to Vegas before?

"Since I can't seem them for myself, I'll just take your word for it." Liliana smiled, showing that she was sort of joking by what she had just said. Sometimes it was funny to see people freak out once they realized that what they said was kind of rude. Liliana never saw it as rude, but for some reason people seemed to think she did. Just because they used the word see or look in a sentence didn't mean that Liliana was instantly upset by the fact that she couldn't see. Liliana was used to it. Not being able to see didn't really bother her as much anymore. "I knew they liked one another. That day I first met Lucius and Jarrett, Lucius was all over Zinnia! Like a little kid on Christmas or something!" Liliana laughed softly as she peered in on Zinnia and Lucius who were talking on the couch together. Liliana wanted her sister to find a man. Maybe then she would stop breathing down her neck all of the time. But Zinnia seemed like she was a little bit lonely sometimes. Liliana knew that she was lonely a lot of the time, so how could Zinnia deny that she wasn't? "You came to see me? How sweet!" Liliana liked that someone went through some trouble just to come this way and see her. Liliana didn't have too many friends in her lifetime, so it was always nice to see someone care so much. Maybe he admired her as well? Liliana had had a few admirers in her day who liked her because of her beauty and sweet nature. It wasn't until they found out that she was blind did they leave her be about it. The blindness was an instant turn off for many guys it would seem.

"Jarrett? You mean the grouchy guy? He's actually not so bad if you catch him in a good mood. He want some rides with me when we met him and Lucius at the theme park. Zinnia talks a lot about him being really into this girl, and it makes him mad or something. I had no idea why being in love would make anyone mad...but oh well." Liliana had accidentally left out a few details about the girl being with someone else, but she wasn't fully informed on the situation. Just that seemingly he was angry because of some situation with a girl and he took it out on all the wrong people. Liliana thought it was a little bit silly but she had never been in love, so she didn't know how she would act either. When Tristane spoke of the fact that he was getting married, Liliana accidentally dropped her cane onto the floor. With a sigh she leaned down and felt around until she could feel it, and pulled it back into her grasp. "Wow....you're getting married? Congratulations! I hope I'm invited! I'd to meet the lucky girl sometime soon, she must be a really awesome girl!" Liliana had accidentally avoided to mention something about her travels due to being so frazzled by the fact that Tristane was getting married. So he must not like her as much as she had thought he did. "Sure, that sounds lovely." Maybe she could get him to talk more about his wedding outside on the porch, because Liliana had a lot of questions. Mostly about the girl that was about to be his bride? How did they meet and what made her so special? Was it because she could see and everything? Liliana had to admit, she was quite jealous.

Lucius felt really bad for Tristane. All he knew was that Jarrett and Astoria came close to doing the nasty, if he had not interrupted them right there by the lake. However with the looks right now Tristane was giving Liliana, it seemed that Tristane might do some cheating too. He hoped so, actually. Tristane needed to be bad every once and a while. Bad was a good thing. Though Lucius himself would never cheat, he just thought that Tristane needed to follow his heart. Even a man like him should have doubts, right? "It is just, Astoria brings out the better side in Jarrett. But I can't tell Tristane. One, he might not even believe me. Two, it isn't really any of my business. The one that should, has to be Astoria." Lucius knew that was to be true. Astoria had to be the one that tells Tristane what happened. Lucius wanted to, but there was a good chance that he might end up losing Astoria as a friend. Jarrett was unpredictable so he had no idea if Jarrett would love him, or hate him. Lucius just wanted to stay out of it. Jarrett was getting worse by the day, and something had to be done. Lucius sighed and wanted his best friend to be better off. He needed something, help. But getting people to make him seek help would prove tasking. "They do seem good for each other. Liliana needs some good friends and a good boyfriend. I wonder if there is a way to match her with Tristane without bringing drama? It is just, they seem perfect for each other. Pretty women like you two need someone to treat you well." Even their movements seemed like they were choreographed by a professional. He just hoped that they all could find someone good.

The nurse chuckled at what she said, and he nodded, "I agree. But I could go on and on about his life, but I feel that we need to talk about you and me, er, my life and yours. Since he isn't here." It was a good ice breaker, but Lucius could go on about Jarrett's life since it seemed a bit more interesting than his own. Oh he was saving up for a house, pining over Zinnia, and taking care of idiots, that was about it. Lucius thought about where he was going to live, and there was no way he was going back to the United Kingdom. He worked in New Zealand. He needed to live there. "Somewhere close to the school. Short commute is better for me. Well, good things about you? I am way to embarrassed to say what. Well, might as well, since you will ask. You are just amazing, from your looks to who you are. Really easy to think good things about you." He paused for a moment, and thought that the trip to Las Vegas sounds really fun. He would love to do that! Though he wondered what he would do that. "Well, perhaps I can show you how to have a really good time, on a tight budget. I think you should really spend more time with me to loosen up a bit." Lucius was definitely flirting, and it would be hard not to see it. Especially with the way Lucius was staring at Zinnia, like she was the most amazing woman in the world. It was like puppy love, really. Lucius was kind of immature, but he thought that if he made people laugh, then he was doing his job right. He just wanted to make others happy to be around him.

Tristane realized what he had just said, and mentally slapped himself for doing so. How could he have been so careless? Normally he was so good at what he was saying, but something about Liliana made him trip up a bit. "Um, Merlin's beard I am so sorry. They smell delicious, that would have been a lot better huh?" Tristane just felt really bad for what he had said, but she did not seem to have taken it wrong. She had smiled. Tristane looked back to see that Lucius was inching a bit closer to Zinnia, and what Liliana had said, it just added up. He knew that the two of them would make the cutest couple. "I think that Lucius would definitely treat your sister withe respect she deserves. She seems a little uptight, and I think he would loosen her up a bit. If she can put up with his immaturity at times with his pranks. Astoria once told me he set Jarrett's pants on fire." Tristane heard quite a few tales about those two, but it hit him. Jarrett came up a lot during his talks with Astoria, and made him wonder... Before he could wonder too much, Liliana spoke again and she was telling him how sweet he was to come and see her. "You are a neat person, so of course I would come and visit." He would love to visit her every now and then, especially now that he knew where she lived, he did not have much of an excuse not to. Liliana was just a little angel, and she was a good cook too. Somehow. Tristane would never stop being amazed at what all she could do. Hell, she could cook better than he could and he was the one that had sight.

What Liliana just said made Tristane think a little more on Jarrett. There was something deeper inside, since he hated him. Jarrett was really into this girl, and he was constantly mad. And he was constantly mad at Tristane. Tristane just knew what it had to be. Jarrett was in love with Astoria. Sighing, Tristane explained, "He would be mad, if the girl was into someone else. No wonder he hates me." Tristane basically stole the girl from under him. So to speak. Tristane leaned against the counter and he placed one of his hands over his eyes, knowing that this entire wedding sent Jarrett into a mental breakdown. Lucius informed him of the excessive drinking, and how on edge he seemed. All of this, was his fault. What could he do? Tristane loved Astoria too. Astoria loved him, but did she have any feelings for Jarrett? The news of him getting married made Liliana drop her cane too. Why would she drop it? He would have helped her, but she seemed to have gotten it without his help. So she was perfectly fine. "Yeah, you are invited, if you want to go. There will be a lot of people there. I'll just keep my worse brothers away from you. She is definitely amazing." The tone of his voice was somewhat down because he had really messed up Jarrett's life, and there was nothing he could do about it. She accepted the proposal of them going outside, and once the cinnamon rolls were done, Tristane led her outside by opening the door for her and closing it behind him. He walked over to the swing, allowing Liliana to get on it first before he sat down next to her. It was easy to tell that he was a little uncomfortable. Not with Liliana, but the situation he was in.

Zinnia glanced back at Tristane and Liliana in the kitchen for a brief moment. Things were beginning to get complicated for everyone, and Zinnia just hoped that Liliana wouldn't get hurt in the process of it all. "Does she really? Because it kind of seems like she's does nothing more than torture the poor boy if you ask me. If he doesn't find out soon, this could all explode and then.....god help all three of them." Zinnia warned. Lucius had spoken about Jarrett's temper, and if it was as bad as she had heard, Tristane didn't stand a chance and neither did Astoria. Did she really bring out the best in him, or is that just what they believed she did? Zinnia stopped staring at the pair in the kitchen as they began to make their way to the front porch for some reason. Maybe they realized that they were being spied on and wanted more privacy? "Careful though, if Liliana decides she wants Tristane to be hers, she'll go for it. Liliana is usually very sweet, but she likes to have the things she wants." Liliana was more prone to using her charm than Zinnia was. Liliana cared less about looks, but if she felt like something was unfair, she wouldn't be shy about using her charm to get there either. Zinnia had seen very few men actually resist a Veela using her charm on him. Tristane seemed like the kind of guy that wouldn't fight it, he was too soft and sweet. Hell, he probably wouldn't even realize what was going on until it was much too late. Zinnia nudged Lucius and pointed out that they were both headed outside so he could see for his own eyes what was going on. She bet if Jarrett was here he would be having a fit.

"Sadly, I don't life an interesting life. I know that but it's not like I have the time to suddenly become interesting or anything either. At least you have some charisma." Lucius was very lively. Though the first time he came over to talk to Zinnia she thought he was a bit creepy. But as she got to know him, she started to realize that he was a real goofball. "Do you really think I'm amazing or is that just your way of flirting?" Zinnia smiled softly, secretly hoping that it was both. It had been some time since she had had the opportunity to get her game on with a super cute guy. It made her feel a bit lonely, she found it hard to really connect with someone long enough for her to feel like flirting was okay and not creepy or weird. "How on earth do you plan to loosen me up? Or am I taking that in a more dirty fashion than what you meant?" Zinnia didn't mean to sound like a total pervert or something, but that was just what she got from the situation. It had been awhile since Zinnia had slept with someone either, she was a big rusty with anything that involved romance or intimacy. Then again, Lucius didn't seem like that type either. Perhaps he just meant by hanging out or something small and casual like this. But with Vegas being the city of sin and everything, Zinnia's mind immediately went to the gutter.

Liliana had to fight to keep from laughing as Tristane apologized. He was just too cute and sweet, he must have not realized that she was joking when she said that. "Hun, I was totally kidding! It doesn't bother me when people talk about seeing things, I'm used to it." Liliana wandered over slowly until she was able to feel the body presence of Tristane and reached out, her fingers gliding across his cheek clumsily. Though she was not able to see, Liliana could still flirt just as well as anyone else. Tristane made it easy though because he was such a cutie pie. From what Liliana had heard from him, his brothers were the total opposite. Most of them were little monsters, while he was like a perfect angel. Soon the cinnamon buns were done, and Liliana took extra care in feeling her way over to the over, locating some oven mitts and pulling the pan out of the oven. Liliana couldn't see how they turned out, but the smell of them was enough to describe how perfectly they had come out. As Liliana spread the icing on them using a combination of feeling and smelling, she listened to Tristane, whom seemed amazed by all that she could do despite being blind. "I think they'd be really good for one another. I bet if we left them alone alone for awhile they'd get even more close. So your idea to go outside sounds even more inviting. Let's go." Liliana took a bite of her cinnamon bun and felt around for her cane and allowed Tristane to guide her outside to the porch swing, that way Lucius and Zinnia wouldn't be so worried about being spied on, Zinnia might be more likely to open up that way. Tristane was right when he said that she could be a little bit uptight.

"So Jarrett loves Astoria, but you're going to marry her? I can see why that would upset him." Liliana answered, almost as if she was asking him why on earth he would still marry someone if it was clear that they belonged with someone else. But Liliana wasn't about to scold him for something he believed was right. Perhaps she was just jealous. Liliana was pretty sure that she was feeling something for Tristane, and it kind of killed her inside that he was going to marry some other girl before Liliana even had the chance to be with him. Suddenly, a very sinful thought came to Liliana. What if she used her charm. What if she used it to make Tristane like her? If he liked her, maybe he would think different about Astoria and then Jarrett could have her? "I have to admit, I'm really jealous that Astoria's the one getting married to you, and not me. She doesn't deserve you." Liliana didn't hold any contempt for the girl, but she didn't think that she deserved the man she was with either. But that was okay, Liliana had a trump up her sleeve. Using her charm as subtly as she could she laid her head on Tristane's shoulder. Making sure to move slowly because if he was truly in love with Astoria, he would leave. "Either way, I'm super glad that you came to visit. You have no idea how happy I am to see you!" Her arm went up his, trying to further entice him. Liliana didn't like jealousy, and normally she was a very sweet girl, but she was never able to hand jealousy very well. Liliana was acting on it right now, and she hoped Tristane would give in.

Lucius was not surprised when Zinnia was not seeing the good that Astoria could potentially do for Jarrett. Jarrett needed someone like Astoria to keep him safe. However right now, it did seem like she was doing nothing more than torturing him, leaving him hanging and such. Lucius felt really bad for everything. "She does both. When she was not with Tristane, he was happier. The moment that things got stronger between her and Tristane, then he lost it. I think that it will explode, one way or another, and it will take out anyone involved directly." Lucius did not know if he would be safe from the blast or not. He just hoped that there would not be a wedding in the end. He thought that would be the end of Jarrett. He looked over toward the kitchen and saw the two going out the door and toward the front porch. Did they want more privacy or were they leaving to give them some more privacy? Lucius had no idea but either way he was going to take it. He wanted some free time with Zinnnia without others listening in possibly. "Oh really now? If she uses that charm on him, she can probably get him to cheat on Astoria with her, or more. That would really break it off with the two of them, and everyone can just go to who they belong with. Tristane would never do that though, he is much too good." Lucius just wanted to have his best friend end up with someone that would bring out the best in him. His other half. If that would ever happen to anyone, then it would be marvelous. Lucius was still looking for his better half. Zinnia was a possibility of being that better half. He just needed some more time to know her.

"Well, you just need to get out a bit more. Take your family out to exotic places like London or New Zealand. I am sure that you will have one interesting life one day if you don’t already." Lucius was trying to give her some more good thoughts over her life, and was sure that there would be something out there. She asked if he really thought that she was amazing or if that was his way of flirting. He bit his bottom lip as he said, "Don’t hate me because of it, but it was both. I do think that and I am very much flirting with you right now." His confidence was one of the best things about him, and he was happy that she was smiling and not slapping the crap out of him for sounding like a total jerk. The next thing that she said made him turn blood red. Normally he would take things in the wrong way, but somehow she did that before he ever thought about it. He looked down at his lap and he shook his head, "N-No you took that in the wrong way. I mean I would love to do that with you, don’t get me wrong, but I mean like, dinners, hiking or anything like that. Amazing on how you went there instead of me." She was definitely perfect. There was no denying it. Her mind went into the gutter before his did. ‘I’m in love, wow,’ thought Lucius. Though he was not really, but it was one massive crush.

Tristane felt much better when she said that she was kidding. It looked like she was about to start laughing at him, but he honestly felt bad over that! She was used to it though but he still thought that he would have to be careful around her just in case. It would be respectable if he did. "Well still, I just will have to remember not to do it." He watched with his amber eyes as she wandered slowly to him, and then her fingers grazed his cheek gently. If the touch did anything, it was a bit shocking. Was that chemistry or something, or was he just naturally shocked at what she had done? Why would he be shocked since he was just looking at her and watching her anyway? Tristane was getting really confused with how he was feeling right now. After the icing was prepared on the cinnamon buns, he took one and then he took a bite out of it. Wow it was delicious. How in the world could a blind woman like Liliana cook better than he could? Well, bake, but still, these were delicious and he wanted more. He could probably eat the whole pan, but he was here to visit with her, not with the pan or the food. "Maybe they will go steady or something if we did leave them alone. I just hope that when we come back in, we don’t hear or see anything inappropriate." He was speaking of intercourse there, and he did not believe in that until marriage or truly in love. He wanted to wait a bit before losing his virginity, and he was getting older by the day. He did not mind though, not in the least bit. He had no idea that Lucius and Zinnia were watching them and talking about them.

"Yeah. I really did not know this until now. I don’t know what I can do to fix things, and not ruin anyone’s life while doing so." Tristane was at a loss. He really wanted to be able to marry Astoria, but he did not want to end up screwing over Jarrett. Jarrett was a good guy, but he was just misled. That was all. Tristane put his hands together on his lap while on the swing outside, and he sighed heavily. He did not know what he was going to do. The words of Liliana made him think. She was jealous, and that she was jealous over Astoria. He did not even notice what was going on, as he was simply too naïve to see. "You shouldn’t be jealous. Wait. I...uh..." he faded off to think over what she had said. Did she really just say that she was jealous over the fact that Astoria was marrying him instead of her? Did she want to marry him? Tristane was about to tell her that they were not meant to be since he had met Astoria and fell in love with her before he fell in love with Liliana. And then the charm hit him. He did not even realize it. She was resting her hand on his shoulder, and he did not move. It felt comfortable. She stated on how she was glad that he came to visit, and how happy she was to see him. Not literally of course. Her arm moving up his was giving him goosebumps, and he closed his amber eyes. "I am really happy to be spending time with you, Liliana." He rested his head upon hers gently, and his hand sought out to hold hers, but instead rested on her thigh instead. It was weird. He felt really comfortable with Liliana, like no one else existed. Was that the charm, or the fact that he liked her, if not fallen. All he knew was he needed to please her, and make her happy. He was putty in Liliana's hands, ready to be molded.

Zinnia still found the whole situation with Jarrett, Tristane, and Astoria to be really complicated. So Astoria was bad for Jarrett, but at the same time she was also good for him? Then Lucius explained that it was only when Tristane was around that he began to lose it, so it was Astoria's relationship with Tristane that was hurting him. Zinnia bit her lip and then sighed. "So Jarrett's in love with her then? Does she even have an idea on how much he cares about her? If not then I'd say that Jarrett needs to show her before it's too late. If she does, then I still think that he could do better. He's probably got tons of girls that would love to date him!" Zinnia had never been in love before, so she had no idea what Jarrett was really going through. The idea that you could love someone so much that you'd be willing to suffer for them, was so foreign to her. In the end, Zinnia hoped that Jarrett was happy with whatever happened. Whether it be with him and Astoria, or him and another girl. Zinnia wondered if Liliana would actually do such a thing to Tristane, when she wanted something, she was pretty bad at resisting the urge to take it for herself. "If Tristane did cheat on Astoria, what do you think Jarrett would do?" Zinnia had an idea on what Astoria would do, but she was curious as to how it would affect Jarrett since he already disliked Tristane with a passion. Zinnia just didn't want this to end so badly for everyone, that Liliana became involved too. Then Zinnia would have to become involved, and she didn't really want to be. Poor Lucius didn't look like he wanted to be either, even if it was for his best friend.

"My parents are gone ninety percent of the time, and managing a deaf boy and a blind girl at the same would be pretty difficult for anywhere too exotic. I'll think about it, but yeah it would be a lot of work." Zinnia shrugged, admitting with the best she could that she was worried that any sort of trip would be more of a job for her than a vacation. "Well that's cute, boys usually get too nervous to managing flirting with me. You're lucky you're adorable though." Zinnia smiled, letting him know that it was okay if he was flirting with her, because she liked it. Zinnia liked the attention and knowing that someone out there cared enough to flirt with her. Plus he was cute too, so Zinnia felt like she needed to take the opportunity and flirt back if she could. The next thing Lucius wound up saying made her laugh. Sadly, her mind did go to the gutter before his, and it was even more cute that she had him a little bit embarrassed about it too. He even admitted that he would like to do that sort of thing with her and Zinnia laughed again. "Well if you had wanted to do something like that you should have asked. Wow you should see your face right now, I've never seen a guy turn that shade of red before. Oh I see though you meant like dates. Well I see no reason why we couldn't make that happen." Zinnia felt like she was probably embarrassing Lucius more than she was anything else. Especially since it seemed like he might want to hook up with her, and she didn't mind a single bit. She was only human after all.

Liliana felt mean by doing this to Tristane, but she also felt like this would do more good than it would do harm. Everyone would be happy in the end, or so she thought. "I have a simple solution for you. It'll fix everything." Liliana's hands pawed at Tristane's shoulders, since she knew the more she touched him, the stronger her charm would affect him. "Tristane, you need to let Astoria go. You two don't really seem like you weren't meant for one another. Jarrett loves her, probably more than even you think you do. Why else would he be so angry at you? I think Astoria belongs with Jarrett...and you...." Liliana trailed off, wanting to say that she thought he belonged with her but didn't want to make it seem like she was only in this for her own benefit. Liliana hoped that her little plan would help Jarrett and Astoria in the end too. After all, it was clear that he was all upset over the fact that he was making Jarrett upset, shouldn't he want to fix things so that everyone could be happy? He couldn't have loved Astoria too much either, because he was here letting Liliana all over him, and a man in love with another woman wouldn't let someone who wasn't his beloved all over him. "Trust me, it will all work out." Liliana brushed aside some of Tristane's dark hair and smiled softly. Liliana listened to the conversation going on inside between Zinnia and Lucius. Though she couldn't hear much, she could tell that they were getting along. That meant that they might be too busy and distracted to come check on the two of them. Which meant that no one would be able to stop Liliana from trying to fix all the problems Tristane was having right now.

"I know I shouldn't be jealous, but I am. You have no idea how amazing of a guy you are, do you? You're really kind, you really care about others, and you really know how to make others happy. Any girl would be so lucky to have you as her man. Yet here you are, coming back into my life and rubbing it in that some girl who clearly doesn't deserve you...has you. So tell me again why I shouldn't be jealous?" Liliana admitted, her hand never leaving their place from his arm. Liliana hoped that at one point or another, Tristane would agree to what she was telling him, and just accept her. Or just accept the fact that Astoria wasn't right for him. Then he admitted that he was happy to be there and spending time with her. Immediately, Liliana's lips curved up into a smile. Liliana had just gotten her way, and she was sure now that Tristane was under the affects of her charm. "That's what I've been waiting to hear." Liliana then crawled over so she was in Tristane's lap. It took a little bit of an effort because she was unable to see, but eventually she fell into place. "I'm going to kiss you now." Liliana's hands rested on Tristane's face as she pulled him close to her face, and let her lips fall onto his in a deep kiss. This was wrong of her, but she liked Tristane, and she thought he liked her too. Surely he wouldn't mind too much if they kissed, and maybe it would help him realize that Astoria wasn't the girl for him.

Lucius wanted nothing more but his friends to be back on the right track. It seemed that when it came down to love, no one was really ever happy. He wanted to be able to really do things. Lucius nodded when she asked if Jarrett was in love with her. It was to his understanding that he was. But he didn't think that Astoria knew. In fact, he was positive that Jarrett did not even know. "I don't think he knows that he loves her. But I know. His sisters know. I think that Jarrett does need to make his stand before it is too late. Haha, you have not seen his temper, he drives every girl away." Lucius cracked up a bit, but then frowned. Wow that was sad and true. He drove just about everyone away that could get close to him. Lucius was lucky since he grew up with the guy. He could see him every day and help him out. The last thing he wanted was to get anyone else involved. There were so many already touched by the Jarrett and Astoria drama. Valera, Taralynn, him, the original two, now Tristane, Zinnia and Liliana. It just spread like a wildfire. Lucius thought about what Jarrett would do if Tristane cheated on Astoria. It was a hard call, but he knew the man. "Well, if he knew about it, then he would either laugh his ass off, or get really mad and attack Tristane. It is kind of hard to tell by this point, but I can see both happening actually." He looked back at the door and waited for Tristane and Liliana to come back in, but it seemed like they were going to be staying out there for a while. He just hoped that Liliana was putting doubts in Tristane's mind (and how right he was).

When hearing that her parents are gone ninety percent of the time, and handling two people with special needs, Lucius felt the urge to help. He beamed, "Hey I will be there. Before going to places, I can take some classes on sign language, and help out with Bryce and Liliana. I think I got his name right." He was willing to look after them both so that she could have some time off. She said that he was adorable and he flushed pretty red. Boys got nervous, well no wonder, she was gorgeous and she was incredible! She was intimidating! "I think I will be flirting more often then, if you really think I am adorable." He wondered just how much he could get away with. He did not need to get away with much since he was nice. The more he thought over about everything, there was just so much his mind could process. He looked at her in such shock, it would make anyone laugh. Lucius chuckled and wondered if she was just open minded or something. He had never seen a woman like her. She was so perfect! "Well, before I ask to move it to the bedroom, you have to agree to be my girlfriend first. Of course I blushed, I never expected to hear that out of you! But now I won't feel as bad if my mind goes into the gutter. Yes, dates and just go out. I really like you, hence me wanting you to be my girlfriend before doing the really fun stuff." his hand reached for hers and he took it gently. Even just holding her hand made him a little nervous, as that blush crept back up on his cheeks.

Tristane was not even aware that he was under the charm, just that he was thinking all of this on his own. Since he was never exposed to it, he had no way to resist it. It took him by surprise. He felt Liliana's fingers brush his shoulders, and he turned his eyes to look upon her, as she stated that she had a solution. Her solution was to let Astoria go. 'I can't do that, I love her, don't I? But what Liliana is making a lot of sense. Jarrett loves her so much. I snaked Astoria from him. I love her, but am I in love with her?' "Maybe... Maybe I can talk to her. And him. Set things right and give them another chance. I just... I want everyone to be happy." Tristane was telling the truth, but somehow all the doubts of marrying Astoria would coming alive, or being planted inside of his head. It was more than cold feet. It was something else. It was like he was rushing into it. Astoria was his first girlfriend and everything. Then there was the fact that Liliana was really affectionate to him, and he was not blocking it. It was just, her touch was very comforting to him, and he wanted to keep going. She brushed some of his dark hair to the side, and admired her sense of touch. She said to trust her, it will all work out. Her smile was ever so inviting too. Like he wanted to kiss her, but he was not quite ready for that. "I trust you, Liliana." It was hard not to trust her. She was like this guardian angel sent to protect him from making one of the biggest mistakes in his life. Right now, he did not even know that Lucius and Zinnia were still around. All that mattered was her.

He listened as Liliana explained why she was jealous. He didn't really see how amazing he was, now that he had ruined this guy's life, and apparently was making Liliana jealous with his engagement to someone else. Tristane sighed and he wondered if he was so amazing, why did he let any of this happen? "I'm sorry for making you jealous, Liliana. I really am. If I am so amazing and kind, then why did others have to suffer because of me?" His hand went to hers that was on his arm, and he gave it a light squeeze before keeping it on there. It was keeping him from really breaking down. He never felt so vulnerable in his life. She had been waiting to hear something, and he wondered what that was. That he was really liking the fact that he was spending time with her? Then she crawled into his lap, carefully, as she could not see. His feet remained planted on the porch, like he was holding them in place. Why was she sitting in his lap? Then she said that she was going to kiss him now. She pulled his head closer to hers before her lips landed right on his. At first, he hesitated before he just gave in. Those amber eyes closed and he returned the favor eagerly. The kiss felt different from Astoria's, but it was not long before he forgot who she was while he was with Liliana. His arms wrapped around her body while one of his hands entangled into her hair. The moment was intense, and he almost lost balance on the swing. He gently pulled away and he whispered, "Um, maybe the swing isn't the best place to talk." His eyes looked down upon her lips again, and he couldn't resist. He leaned back in and kissed her again, eagerly. It was like he could feel that she wanted him to, and he did.

Zinnia barely knew Jarrett, but she could already feel the frustration of everyone involved. It was obvious that Jarrett had some semblance of feelings for Astoria but he refused to go for it. "No wonder he lost Astoria. Every girl wants a man to fight for her, this whole time he's probably just sat there and let it happen. Astoria probably even had no idea that he cares for her at all." Zinnia didn't like defending Astoria, mostly because she felt like a lot of it was probably her fault to begin with. But if Astoria didn't even know how Jarrett felt to begin with, how could she be blamed for now letting Jarrett have the chance. His anger had probably convinced her that he disliked her and Astoria had no other choice but to move on. "Then you might not want to tell him about that." Zinnia pointed to the scene outside with Liliana and Tristane, as she managed to get a perfect glimpse of them kissing. So Tristane wasn't as angelic as Lucius seemed to think he was, he was out there kissing someone who wasn't his fiancee. Zinnia glanced out at Lucius from the corner of her eyes, to read his expression. Was he happy about this or not? His friend might just have a chance now. Unless Tristane never told Astoria what had happened, but he didn't seem like that type.

"You flirting was how you and I first met, remember? You came right over, sat next to me, and started to flirt away." Back the, Zinnia thought he was a little creepy. He grew on her though, especially his humor. Then she started to like the way he cared about his best friend like he did, and then it came to her liking how he liked her. Zinnia thought he was pretty sweet and caring for the most part, and he clearly wanted a thing with her, so why not date him? "I don't see how us giving the whole dating thing a go would be a problem." Zinnia whispered back, her eyes falling on Tristane and Liliana once more. Would they be upset if Lucius and Zinnia disappeared on them? Zinnia figured that they wouldn't even notice, particularly Liliana. After that Zinnia nudged Lucius, as if asking him if he wanted to go off for a little bit. It was up to him as Zinnia didn't want to make him do something he didn't want to do. She'd be a terrible girlfriend if she went and did that when they had only been together for a small amount of time.

Liliana knew that she was getting her way by the mere sound of his voice. She could hear it in his voice that he was beginning to doubt whatever it was that he had with Astoria. Chances were high that he did indeed love her, but Liliana was successfully leading him to believe that he never did to begin with. "See, it's all for the best. Those two would be happy together, and you giving them the chance to finally do that would mean so much to them I bet. Especially Jarrett. There might even be a chance that you two could form a friendship from this." Liliana combed a few skinny fingers through Tristane's dark locks as she attempted to sooth him. Chances were high that he had a lot going through his mind right now. He was genuinely a good guy, so conflict wasn't something he appreciated. Tristane usually tried to avoid things like this, and Liliana could tell this just by listening to him talk. He didn't want this conflict to continue growing, and to keep this from happening he and Astoria needed to end. Though Liliana bet that if Astoria were here, Liliana would be done for. From what Liliana had heard, the Snow's were very good at getting what they wanted as well.

"The others suffer because that's what humans do. We love, we thrive, but we also suffer. It's nothing you can control though." Liliana tried to calm him down. Maybe causing others to suffer was in his genetic make-up, or something he learned. Either way, Liliana didn't want to make him believe that it was all his fault. Liliana rested her head on Tristane's shoulder for a moment, it wasn't the most comfortable position since she was sitting in his lap still, but he needed comfort. Especially if Liliana was fully going to be able to convince him that he needed to be on her side and away from Astoria. "Let's go inside and talk then." Liliana replied once he had broken the kiss with her. He wound up kissing her one last time before she felt her away around and got up off the swing. Her cane was easily located moments later, and then she held her hand out to him. Maybe she just needed to keep picking at him with her charm, and soon enough he would be putty in her hands, and he could finally let Astoria go.

Lucius would have to agree with what Zinnia with telling him what he was thinking. Lucius nodded, "It really sucks. I just wish that there was something that could be done. Without getting others involved and hurt." Lucius looked down at his hands and he wondered if there was something that could be done to help Astoria know how Jarrett felt. It was probably nothing that he could do, or anything else. It would all have to do with Jarrett, not anyone else. His anger was just horrible, and then Zinnia pointed out something. Lucius looked over and saw a glimpse of Liliana and Tristane kissing. His eyes widened. He doubted that this could be Tristane's doing. He would never do that. Ever. Lucius looked over at Zinnia and he uttered, "Tristane wouldn't do that. I know the guy. Um, is Liliana the jealous type?" He was wondering if this could be Liliana's doing. If so, he would send her a bloody fruit basket. This absolutely amazing, it could fix everything. Tristane could be with Liliana, and Astoria could be with Jarrett! Lucius could not be happier right now, it was like he had an epiphany, and this would definitely make everyone happy.

Oh yeah, he was reminded of that, but he was pretty young when he did that. That was years ago. Lucius blushed at the thought and he said, "Wow I really need to make a median of it. Too much when we first met, and not enough now." Lucius could not help but think about that. He seemed like an idiot, but he had grown up a lot now. Then Zinnia seemed to have accepted his proposal for them to date. He had a girlfriend! An amazingly beautiful girlfriend! Everything was perfect! "Wow, you have made me the happiest nurse alive!" He leaned forward and gave her a small peck on her cheek to show her the gratitude. He knew that everything would be right in his world now. He felt her nudge and then read it as if she were asking him if he wanted to go off for a while. Well, that was definitely in his agenda. He gave her a nod before taking her hand. He got up from the couch and led the way upstairs where they could have some fun to themselves. Of course, he would call Jarrett during that, and almost interrupting him as well. Just Lucius was so happy, and he had a girlfriend!
