Food. That was the thing on the twenty-one year olds mind today. As soon as Jack Kaster woke up this morning, his stomach grumbled, which meant food was to eaten unless he wanted to die. So naturally, Jack aparated to the store and bought himself a bag of unpopped popcorn so he could eat it, without sharing with Parker. Parker had vaccumed up his last packet, the pig. The vegetarian couldn't resist the popcorn, especially since it was Jack's favourite food on planet Earth, but it seemed that Parker ate them, just as much as Jack. Jack had to be honest with himself, he was suspicious about it, because Parker was a vegetarian, and had never eaten popcorn until Jack sat down one night eating it, and then he practically attacked him for the bag and ate it all, how rude could he get? Just because Jack was living in his house he thought that he could eat all of Jack's food and leave him starving, what sort of best friend was he? A damn good one. Jack tottered into the kitchen that he helped keep clean and sat on the bench, reading the instructions on the back of the bag. Considering that he ate the popcorn all the time, he often forgot exactly how long to put it on for, it was crazy, but true. He smirked and hopped down, humming as he put the popcorn in the microwave and turned it on. There was one thing he hated about living with Parker. Parker seemed to like not using magic. Jack found that simply crazy and he never failed to laugh, because Parker was a pure-blood, and by a lot of people he would be considered 'more wizard' than Jack, but who used their magic the most? Jack. Who was the most used to using muggle stuff? Parker. Who apparated everywhere? Jack. Who yelled at the other for being 'lazy' and 'addicted' to magic? Parker. Jack found it really funny.
POP!Jack smiled as he heard the popcorn start popping, he would be having popcorn deliciousness very soon. He was super excited for food. Jack loved to eat, it was great, and the best bit was that he never gained weight, it was great, though he did do a lot of flying and Parker at a clearing nearby, they would play two-player Quidditch there for fun, they had to change a lot of the rules though, because of the fact that there was only to of them. One of the rules Jack loved the most was the fact that, if they really wanted to, they could apparated around the place, it was hilarious. When he thought about it, the game they made up really couldn't be considered Quidditch anymore, because nearly every rule was altered or changed in some way because of their numbers and the fact that they had to be quiet and had to make sure they they could stop in seconds, just in case some nosy muggle came back on a bushwalk or something. Since they were both too lazy to put up any spells that would make people ignore the area, they had to change the rules. POP! Jack smiled again, just a few more pops like that and he'll have his popcorn. He nodded slightly and crossed his arms across his chest and lent against the bench lazily, he wanted the popcorn now, as in, right now. He didn't want to wait anymore, though he hadn't been waiting that long, his stomach was starting to eat his insides. He chewed his lip and began to think of Samual, that boy had an endless energy. He shock his head, not again, everytime he thought of Samual or Lisa, or Tamalia, or Hamish, or Bethany, or even Tess and Lucy, his heart swelled with regret at the thought of them all sitting in obscure places and missing him, he missed every single one of them, he missed how he and Tess would fight like cat and dog over nothing. He missed how Tamalia would find new and exciting ways to scare the crap out of him. He missed Samual being his typical crazy self. He missed playing Quidditch with his magical siblings, though the rules would be slightly altered, they were allowed to tackle eachother in Kaster Quidditch 'tournaments', great times. POP! "Oooh, food!" He cheered excitedly, forgetting the depressing thoughts of family and leaping to the microwave, pulling out the popcorn, forgetting that it was really hot. "Merlin!" He yelled, shaking his hand and adding a few colourful words. He then calmed down and quickly pulled the bag out and opened it, pouring the yummy contains into a large yellow bowl. He looked down at his breakfast. Oh yes, he was one happy twenty0one year old.
